The best friendly place. Celebration of me and my sister Sandra's birthday. Manager was very nice and sociable. Awesome female singer and male at piano. We danced and had the greatest happiest time. Lots of friendly people. You feel like it's a community place.

With a central location that has made my business trip significantly more effective, great service and comfortable rooms, a great place to go! Only negative is the noise outside, but that is to be expected with the central location.

This historic Dallas hotel has a beautiful lobby and exterior. Classy. Our room was larger than expected (classic king) and was clean, quiet, and odor-free. Bath amenities, towels, and bedding were of good quality and the television was clear with a variety of channels to choose from. The a/c setup could be camouflaged better, but the ceiling fan was a nice touch, and the a/c cooled perfectly. We had a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. Thank you!
Our disappointment lies solely with staff interaction. When we pulled into the drive, the valet attendants serviced two other vehicles that pulled in behind us. So we opened our own doors, grabbed our own bags, and approached the stand to request valet service. Except for the bellman who greeted us in the lobby, check-in was less than stellar as well. We were not welcomed to the Warwick Melrose Hotel at the front desk. When we approached, the agent never stood up or made eye contact (he was leaning on the counter on his elbows). When he finally acknowledged us, still on his elbows and not looking up, we got a very dry "Can I help you?" He was obviously not enthused to be there. He managed to rattle off hotel lobby highlights without looking up or standing up, but didn't invite any questions from us or wish us a pleasant stay. Housekeeper pleasantly greeted us in the hallway this morning. The Landmark greeter/hostess was very welcoming this morning, but failed to ask us to follow her into the dining room before she walked off. Front desk agent at check-out was very friendly, smiling, and helpful. He inquired how our stay was which was nice.
Kudos to the bellman, housekeeper, and check-out agent. Clearly there are some basic service training points that need to be introduced, reintroduced, and reinforced with the others. We hate to see beautiful, elegant hotel and resort properties decline because guest service is lax and inconsistent.

We just had our wedding reception here. They went above and beyond in every way and were so flexible with us and our guests who stayed at the hotel! We could not have imagined anything better, and the staff is FANTASTIC!!! We look forward to making a stay there a yearly celebration!

my first time writing a review , tried to make a reservation for september and they were so rude and dry. i have gone to their restaurant and some friday saturday night at the piano bar seem to be a very nice hotel. i found other hotels in the area so accommodating and most of all so much friendlier than these folks, may be they need to listen to agent and listen how they talk to their customers. Good luck

Prior to entering hotel, take a look at the entire building. Really Historic architecture.

Staff greeted me immediately opening front doors. Desk staff was super friendly and helpful.

Explored different floors. Pool area is really cool and they are finishing outside pool bar. Spa looked nice as well. Both on 7th floor.

Our room was upgraded and was double the size of normal hotel room including sitting area.

Newly renovated and very sharp and clean.

We had our wedding there at the hotel two weeks ago. Our experience was excellent all throughout the planning phase and on the big day. Kristen was our coordinator and overall wedding guru, and she did a phenomenal job. The new rooms are clean, comfortable, well designed and accommodated. Everyone from the front desk staff to the servers for our dinner were exceptional. The meal was served hot and got rave reviews. Would definitely recommend for a wedding spot or even just a weekend getaway in uptown Dallas.

The building was gorgeous and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and comfortable. The only problem was we tried to call room service and no one answered. Probably because it was around dinner service and they were probably getting a lot of calls all at once. It was lovely though.

This is absolutely my favorite historic hotel in all of Dallas Texas

I stay here when I'm working or have friends visiting

I've stayed here a hundred times

Then I'm staying here just to get away from work

One of the best hotels in Dallas. The building is older but with modern furnishings, and some of the older touches (like a mail tube by the elevators) have been nicely preserved. The customer service is top notch; they had overbooked the room size we bought and immediately upgraded us to a larger room without questions or charge. When checking out, I mentioned that the audio was not in sync on the movie we ordered (Lincoln) and the charge was immediately removed from our bill.
Also, by far the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in.

Beautiful classic facility. Outstanding service. As my wife continues her treatment/recovery from cancer, the staff and management have and continue to go out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Decent location and Pleasant staff. Fine rooms even though the furniture can be improved a bit more. Pleasing views. My room was on one of the top floors and the outlook around was pretty. Air conditioner / Heat is a little louder than normal. Water in shower and toilet is a bit on the low flow side. Also, the room was a little on the noisy side sometimes because of streets nearby but I guess this is the downside for trying to be adjacent to everything!

Beautiful Hotel with classic Charm - the decor in the rooms is dated - not dirty but dated. The staff is friendly, the bar is fantastic - all mahogany and a comfortable place for a drink. Nice place - I have stayed many times.

I m a Professional Truck driver passing thru Dallas and ran across this Hotel. Having the weekend off I decided to spend my time off here. I was really impressed with the accommodations and the decor. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and elegant. This will be my place of rest when ever I pass thru Dallas.

I love this hotel! It has such a classy and classic feel that I have never experienced anywhere else. It for some reason gives me the elegance that I believe one would have felt on the TITANIC. From the way the doors open for you, to the art work, to the details in the hallways, guest rooms, and bathrooms, this place has a certain je ne sais quoi that you MUST experience!

The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was comfortable. The windows were drafty and let in somenif the louder street noise but we were not bothered by that. They were accommodating and allowed us to check in early and held our luggage on check out day. If you like to walk you can get to some decent restaurants and Katy Park and West End are about 1 mile and 1.4 away respectively. It's a beautiful hotel and you can't beat the price.

Two stars is generous. The bed was nice. Other than that bad experience! No microwave to pop popcorn, or heat tea. No fridge. Shower had pink mold in it. Worst of all noise from the ambulance service across the street until midnight, bars play music til two a.m. doors slam all hours of the night, room service only until 10. Ice machine had black crop in it! I think I covered the worst...
Was terrible. Room service never showed up... due to covid of course so we had to fight for water to drink. Just not pleasant. Find an Embassy Suites. They will take care of you there.

Remember the Warwick is on the Historic Hotel Registry when you visit. This means you are getting all of the charm and historic craftsmanship of the early 20th Century. You also get air conditioning that doesn t always work as anticipated. The Warwick is indeed lovely, The bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. The view was impressive and the location was perfect for our trip. We will be back!

A delightful old hotel with large rooms and still in style of olden days. Elegant lobby and has lots of room and great restaurant for any meal.
Seems to have plenty of on site parking in busy part of classy area of town.
If you really appreciate older atmosphere this is a great place.

This classic hotel deserves your consideration when you come to Dallas. However, the service and the restaurant do not deserve to be in the top 25. If you are looking for a great experience... stay at the Ritz or the Crescent. If you are on a Tight budget or here for a wedding, it looks like you might be at this hotel. The lobby bar is very nice, but avoid the restaurant as it is painfully slow at everything. The service is painful slow. This once great hotel is on the decline. 0 of the 20 staff at the restaurant could get a job at the Ritz-Carlton or anywhere upscale in Dallas Uptown. These folks are lost. BAD management.

The atmosphere and Decor was wonderful but service felt kind of like we were bothering them and the food was good but a bit Bland and wasn't really worth the price. Would probably go back but I'm in no hurry to do so.

My daughter and I stayed here for the first time this month, and stayed for a few days. We had never splurged on a 'fancy' place before, and we're extremely excited to be there.

First, you should know that parking is a whopping 27 dollars a night. That is very outside of my comfort, so we had no choice but to park on the street. The valet man was very respectful and assured me that plenty of guests park on the side, and they've never had any problems. Sure enough, we did not have any incident, thank goodness.

From the outside, it is impressive, and the lobby is absolutely gorgeous. The in-hotel restaurant is absolutely amazing, and we both had the most amazing food. Seriously, the best meal I've ever had in my entire life. I felt like this is how rich people eat. I felt privileged to be eating there. My daughter even said that she felt like we were on the titanic! Indeed, the meal was really expensive, but all in all, the restaurant, looking around the lobby, it all felt like affordable luxury.

The problem lies in the rooms themselves. They are FILTHY. First, whenever I check into a hotel, I unmake the bed to search for signs of bed bugs. It's just a smart thing to do. Thank God, no bugs. But what I did find instead were blood stains and hair on what was supposed to be clean sheets. I called the front desk and requested clean sheets. They brought me folded sheets which looked clean, until I unfolded them. There was FECES on them. Not a stain, but actual raised off the sheet feces. Incredible. So I called down again and they just offered to move me to a different room. I asked simply for clean sheets. They then brought me sheets that were clean. But seriously? How can an 'upscale' place be like this? Yuck!

Then as I wiped up the hotel with a disinfecting wipe, I noticed hair on the presentation towels and dirt around the room and bathroom. It wasn't too bad, just little stuff here and there that a lot of people probably wouldn't have even noticed. Okay, no big deal. Yes, I expected better, but it was nothing I would really have written about.

UNTIL.

Until my child and I were getting into bed later. We got all snuggly and then I happened to look up at the headboard. I enclosed pictures. I had to tell my daughter that someone either spit or peed on the headboard but you guys all know what this is. I mean, SERIOUSLY?! How can this 'upscale', 'luxurious' place overlook all of this?!

I am disgusted and disappointed. And I will never, ever stay at a Warwick hotel again.

Inexcusable.

The staff here TRULY understands the meaning of customer service and goes above & beyond what most people do. The environment of the hotel is warm welcoming friendly energy that makes you feel like home and want to stay longer. The room we were put in was more like a one bedroom apartment than hotel room & the bed was so comfortable I actually got the best night sleep I've had in months.

My brand new truck was damaged by their valet company and they refuse to fix the damage. I have sworn affidavits that my truck was in mint condition when they took possession of it. However, when I receive my truck back it was not.

Excellent location walking distance from the night life. We were upgraded to a suite due to not having the room we needed. The view was great as well. Price was right too! My only qualm would be parking is too expensive and in my opinion if I get a room I shouldn't have to pay $30 for vallet in the hotel parking lot.
