Not a great experience ... no microwaves in rooms... and no place in hotel where u can microwave or heat things ... hotel can t help you due to health reasons as they can t rewarm food... which makes some sense but don t know how you will warm milk if you have kids... started itching on sleeping on the bed and woke up with a rash... bath tub did not drain well... just not a great experience

Absolutely atrocious! The rooms are average. The front desk doesn t answer the phone. Guest services does not answer the phone. Room service answer the phone one out of every four times. The valet was incredibly slow we waited for over an hour. We have been here for three days and had no housekeeping at all. We have no towels, no cups, no coffee and the front desk promise to send them up over two hours ago. I have visited the front desk twice and they have made false promises. Do not stay at this hotel it is a disaster. A complete waste of time and money and they will ruin your vacation!

This historic hotel is conveniently located close to downtown, west village and uptown. The library bar is great and has strong drinks as well as a great cheese plate. Only down side is it's all valet

I was completely delighted with our weekend getaway here. Absolutely everything was comfortable and convenient. The bed was lavish, the bathroom quaint, yet completely stocked, and walking distance to a restaurant or two. We would absolutely stay again.

I am staying in this hotel with my family for the weekend and at first, we thought this was a cute hotel in a cool part of town. We were mistaken. After three fire alarms that took place late at night and early in the morning we are beyond pissed. After the first alarm went off, everyone was panicked and rushed down six flights of stairs only to be told it was a false alarm. Management mistreated the hotel guests. They were unapologetic and did not even look from their computer. The next morning at 8:30 am the second alarm went off. We all rushed downstairs again only to be told it was another false alarm and to return to our rooms. Then, not even 5 minuets after we returned to our rooms, a third false alarm went off. There were no courtesy calls made, no apologies to those who ran down 6 flights of stairs, nothing. Purely annoying. Find a hotel who knows how to treat their guests and know how to work a fire alarm.

I stayed here and was disappointed with Bar Staff who were discriminative and rude. Front desk was very helpful and acomadating but their driver they supply charged me $200.00 to take me to a few places in the vicinity not knowing i used to live there and know prices but I still paid him and didn't use him again.
I had the No Disturb sign on my door but house Keeping never offered to take trash or give clean towels or make my bed, I guess I should have specified I don't enjoy being woken up before noon for house Keeping.
All in all the majority of Hotel Staff was pleasant. My room had dirty air conditioning filters but my stay was great.

Stayed overy night for new years. The classic feel of the establishment is what drew my fiance and I to this location after we went to the Library lounge for cocktails. All the staff were pleasant, which greatly complimented the stay. Our view overy looking downtown Dallas was an excellent end after seeing off the new year. We will return for a longer stay in the future.

We got a great rate on a King Corner room and were so happy with the room. Although the complimentary robe was way to short for my tall frame, I m not sure my wife minded ;) the hotel was in great proximity to a few local restaurants and the bed was wonderful. Great service, next time I will opt out of the valet service and park on the street to save some cash, all around great hotel!

We stayed in a suite. The bathroom ranked as the nicest I have ever seen in any type of rental, as it were. It was very finely appointed, clean and very spacious. Customer service at every contact was first class.

Great and friendly staff. Great customer service. The hotel is charming and the restaurant and bar are well above par. The rooms, for the price, are too small and lack what other 4 stars have. But overall...recommend. also it's in a great part of Dallas.

My experience with the hotel administration is way beyond HORRIBLE. I booked the hotel and called the next day to cancel it and was promised my card won't be charged.
First Issue: The agent that picked up my call never cancelled it or put in a cancellation request.
Second Issue: Then they charged No show up fee.
Third Issue: I called back asking what happened for which the staff suspected me I never called to cancel and after few arguments they agreed to refund and said it takes around 3-5 days.
Fourth Issue: I did not see the refund after 10 days so I was trying to call them back to check.
Fifth issue: Revenue managers are never at desk. I left 3 voicemails and never got a response.
Sixth issue: Finally I got a hold of a person to enquire about my refund request. AGAIN, I got to know they never recorded my refund request. No wonder here!
Seventh Issue: I had to explain the whole story again and she says she needs to get a permission from higher-level to refund and assured I would get the refund IF IT IS approved. Wow!
Finally, I got my refund issued but as a customer, it took me 11 calls, 11 days and few arguments to get that done. I am never booking this hotel again.

I absolutely LOVED my suite. Plush comforter and pillows. Romantic window shutters in the bathroom and the black out curtains were a dream. I would give a 1.5 stars out of 5 for the service. On TWO separate occasions I had to make more than one call and wait over 40 minutes for a room service menu and coffee cups. I was not at all pleased but left feedback with the host. On the first occasion I called at 9 o clock to get a menu because I was advised there wasn t one online. The menu arrived at 9:40 and it stated room service for most items stopped at 10. I called room service 3 times via their extension and no answer. I called down to guest services and she told me they left before 10 o clock. My feedback to them is to provide a courtesy note to guests advising they order before a certain time to insure their order taken. No thank you to a ham sandwich over lobster Mac n Cheese. To address the issue of room service not answering, the hostess also explained if I wanted to order a sandwich or cold item then I would call the front desk. It s in the best interest of the establishment to inform their guest of these procedures upon arrival to dispel any confusion and frustration.

The here is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are luxurious without feeling austere, and the bed is so comfy I almost bought one for my home. The restaurant on premises is very good, as well as being a quiet spot for breakfast. The library is a fun lounge area, but can get loud once the night goes on. I'll probably stay here every time I come to Austin if they have rooms available.

The hotel looks nice but they have to many hidden fees. When I called and asked about the deposit and parking fees they said the only thing I pay extra upon my arrival is the deposit( nothing about parking) , so I bought the room for 2 nights. ( non refundable) When we got here I asked where do we park and I was told I can park on the side of the street ( Dickerson) but my vehicle was at risk of getting towed the next morning, they said the only thing they have is Valet and is 27 dollars a night. I asked since it s me and my husband will the cars be combined on one ticket or do they charge individually . The gentleman in the front desk said the cars is on one ticket but valet said it s 27 per car so they confused us. The room was pretty but refrigerator didn t work when we got in, so they brought another one which that one didn t work either so we had to request a 3rd one . They said they don t have microwaves either, I asked is there anywhere we can reheat our food and they said no they only provide food that you have to order from them. The water is in the room but with prices on it, what s the point of having water bottles in the room if your going to get charged for it ( you would think it s appreciation for staying here). I was scared to touch anything cause they may charge me extra. We also have children that came( they said was kid friendly) but it was liquor all in the refrigerator. I don t think this type of hotel is for small children.

Super nice hotel. The staff is trained in what is obviously high class upper level service. The hotel itself has great amenities downtown. Would love to return there time and time again. The only downfall is the parking situation/ price but you often get that style of parking when at locations such as this. Would recommend for anyone but perhaps a family.

All the rooms are a bit different and getting a decent one is hit or miss. Lack of a pool makes this a bit of a bummer. Stayed here many many times for work that is across the street. Otherwise I would not have bothered.

My husband and I stayed there Christmas through New Years a few years ago (even though we lived 2 miles away) for the amazing food and ambiance. During the power outage of 2/21 we could not find a hotel. We waited in the lobby for any available room after 3:00 and were fortunate. Their Team was wonderful from the front desk to the lovely server at the Library. What truly inspired this post is that this Hotel is a Class Act because they didn't raise their rates, they were lower than anticipated and even lower than an average night at a "budget-friendly" hotel. They could have easily raised the rates but did not. We appreciate all that you did to accommodate us, the warmth and hot showers.

Neat spot, and a unique piece of Dallas history. The Warwick is one of those places you drive past for years, but never visit. It has been around forever, but is off the beaten path. The building itself tells the story, and has been kept much closer to its original state than the historic downtown hotels. It has a charming restaurant/bar, with live music every night. The rooms are cool as well, and have just enough modern touches to avoid being a quaint inconvenience. It's worth checking out, whether you are in town for a day, or a decade.
