The exterior is nice. The staff are nice. The rooms are adequately furnished but not overly. The food however was sufficient for a single experience after which the many fine dining establishments in the area beckoned us.

Spent a weekend in Dallas and this was my home away from home. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room had ample space and very clean. Only issue as to the caliber of this kind of hotel was the drain plug on the sink showed a ton of wear. Small thing but nothing that detracted from the overall experience. It's an amazing hotel but not cheap

Stunning hotel with the opulance of 1920s Dallas but the modern touches of a modern hotel. Fantastic location right in the heart of Oak Lawn & the center of LGBT life in Dallas. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel and friendly front desk staff. Got a great deal online and they have a fast a friendly valet team. It s $27 to valet overnight but def worth it considering how much is within walking distance. We ll definitely stay again in the future!

Warwick Melrose was just a one night stop over, but was a very pleasant and friendly place. The staff was all very attentive, especially in the restaurant. This is a historical building which gives it it's own charm. We had dinner at the restaurant. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, the steaks were prepared to perfection. I have never had such a tender steak and cooked exactly medium. Our wait staff Rafael, Carlos, and Jackie were great. I am giving a 4 star only because there are a few airplanes flying over and there was one outlet in our room that did not work.

For the price you are going to pay, even for the smallest room, you will be underwhelmed. The room has no outlets for plugging in items that bring (Phones etc) You would think that in such a 'nice five start hotel" every room would have a refrigerator and free wifi BUT no you have to pay for wifi and if you are staying for more than one night you have to get the second to largest room to have the option for a frig. It is ridiculous to pay that amount of money and be limited to amenities that you should get with a hotel of any kind. I did some research after out stay and found that other "five start historical" hotels do have more for your money and rooms are in better condition. In our bathroom the tub was so small one could barely stand and turn around. The shower curtain would blow back into the tub and I had to point the shower head at the curtain so that it would not stick to me in the shower. This made it very difficult to shower. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel (received a letter from manager) he said "there are larger rooms that would solve these problems" My response was I did not want a suite or larger room, these things should be addressed without me upgrading. In the end I would say go to another hotel if you are looking to be impressed.

The check in took over an hour, the service has been terrible at the front desk and at the library. The rooms have dirty carpets, dirty kitchen sink and music with lots of base playing until 1 in the morning that was so loud it made the floor shake on the second floor. We are here for the trade show and the loud music allowed for no sleep. The front desk did not warn me that the second floor was like trying to sleep on a dance floor. It was so loud you could hear the words clearly a whole floor away.

When I complained to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do.

The prices are very high especially if you are paying them for a room you can't even sleep in.

Save your money and go elsewhere. No stars

Gorgeous room, undeniably gorgeous. The entire hotel was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, made perfectly and fresh and clean. The climate control worked excellently. Valet service was prompt, professional, and easy to use. The front desk was professional, concise, and an easy interaction; the check-in process was streamlined and easy.

However, some small issues that really hurt my experience. The bathroom in our room didn't have any hand soap, there was an exploded soda in the fridge, we didn't have a room service menu (and requests for said menu we're met slowly), and the front desk was impolite when called about a phone left in the restaurant/bar area.

The restaurant/bar, however, was incredible. It was exactly what we were looking for and had a great selection of drinks. The service was fast and polite, all health guidelines followed. Very satisfied with that experience.

Was laying in bed watching tv with my boyfriend and 2 Kids. Suddenly the fire alarm went off, we opened the room door and smelled smoke. We ran to the stair well with everyone else on our floor and quickly went down 6 flights of stairs to the lobby. When we got to the lobby we were out of breath and a bit panicked. We along with 20 other people were frantic looking for answers. There was no one there to address what was happening. We asked the front desk manager what was going on and she didn't even look up from her computer just said "it was a false alarm". No announcement was made to the 20+ people entering the lobby in a panic. No apologies, no concern for the ordeal we just went through thinking we were evacuating a hotel with all our belongings in the room still. We then returned to the room and asked for water via room service and they were very rude that we even asked for water after we just sprinted down 6 flights of stairs. Ridiculous.

UPDATE: our fire alarm has gone off 3 Times. (Twice the next morning) All false alarms. zero sympathy from management or front desk staff. Absolutely ridiculous! Will never stay at this hotel again.

We made a last minute trip to Dallas and was expecting to have to pay out the wazoo for a room, but came across Warwick for a great price with good reviews. I was blown away when we got there. Staff was amazing, especially Pedro. He was our valet and just a humble, fun and amazing human being! Ask him to wear his new cowboy hat! Rooms were huge, clean, and very cozy! We'll be staying again.

Always feel welcome to be back to Homewood Suite. It has been couple of time since I stay there. Everything is good and love the cosy feeling, except the bed is too soft. If firmer will be good. There's always room for improvement and I think they have improve quite a lot since the initial opening

I was so excited to stay at this nice hotel. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The staff was snobby but that was not the worst of it. It started when the valet parked my car in the driveway blocking have the entrance got lucky my car was not hit. Then when my husband tried to order food at the front desk he was told to check his white privilege. Then they delivered the food to the wrong room. I have been treated better at a motel 6.

Me and my hubby had a blast in Warwick, it s a shining-sparkling jewel in Oak Lawn I must say, this guy name Bernie, accommodate us with a friendly smile on his face and it was truly a wonderful time being with him! Our room was spacious enough for two of us, it has everything we need during our stay and most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable! We also visited The Library Bar and it was a great place too. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying here and we are planning to return.

We are here tonight for our anniversary. We stayed here for our honeymoon 12 years ago. We were greeted and treated the way we expect when staying here. The room is beautiful! We plan on many more anniversaries with you!

Very old building. No parking. Every time you enter and exit the lot it's 15 dollars plus tip. Got the room from priceline express.nothing special here. Its across the street from a walgreens and a mexican restraunt. In the heart of gay town. The gay men are very service orientated no pun intended.not a terrible place but not great either. Its priced right at sixty percent off on price line but to pay their normal rate you would be crazy to book it. Across from a very busy fire station so lots of sirens throughout the night. No refrigerator in room.

No ramp, need to pick up bags n walk stairs. But the hotel is nice old architecture. Also it's not sound proof so u hear a lot of noise from outside. Specially ambulance from nearby hospital.

I had a nice stay and loved the suite room. The room was very comfortable and the choice of coffee and the amenities were good quality too. However my room was on the corner and the fire station was close by.
The breakfast was very filling and I had it in The Landmark restaurant on the 1st floor.

If you're trying to establish a great relationship with your guests and create repeat customers the way to do it is with excellent service and attention to detail. The Warwick Melrose has definitely nailed it. The lobby is gorgeous and smells amazing. The front desk staff are extremely courteous and welcoming. We stayed for an impromptu birthday night out and were treated to a room upgrade with birthday cocktails, thank you Warwick Melrose for making my night even more special. Our room was so comfy and roomy and the recent update looks amazing! I'm pretty sure my go-to Dallas hotel has just been found.

Worst hotel stay I have ever had. I asked for a quiet room and front desk laughed in my face. Between the construction going on and the freeway noise, don't expect to sleep and I had earplugs! The beds are doubles and the worst quality. They slump to the middle. In the morning we went to get the continental breakfast and I had to wait over 10 minutes to be helped even though there were only 2 people in the restaurant. The staff was slow and and not very friendly. I expected so much more from such a highly rated hotel but if you value a good night's sleep would definitely recommend SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!

It's kinda old and antique-y. We were there only for a wedding but considered staying there but the rooms looked old and dark. We had family that stayed there that said it was fine. It's a very old building. The wedding was nice though.

Overall, the staff at the hotel was great, but in terms of the bar staff - the last night of my stay the bar tender Mo, was extremely rude. I was staying at the hotel for a friend's wedding, and we all found Mo to be curt and arrogant. He made snide little comments, at one point he made sure to tell us we had "five minutes, actually four to finish our drinks and get out"... one bar attendee came over and asked that we didn't mind him. Honestly, if we were a rowdy group of people... I'd get it, but his behavior was disgusting and didn't match the level of service you'd expect at the Warwick.

I would rate higher if I could. The room was beautiful and very spacious. The sheets and bed allowed both of us to have a perfect night of sleep (and we both have different sleep number settings). The view was breath taking from every room. Even with the traffic below we never heard any noise during the night. As for the staff I could not give higher praise. They were friendly, efficient, and professional. We did call down stairs to ask for the minibar key staff was at our room in a few minutes. Valet parking staff prompt and courteous. If I ever take my husband to Dallas for another getaway this is the hotel I will choose.
