Truly mind blowing experience! Highly, highly recommendable!

I had dinner at The Heath and saw the Sleep No More show immediately after.

What an amazing experience overall. The food at The Heath was delicious; my friend and I split the Aleppo fries, Halibut, and steak dish. We also each tried a tequila drink that had mezcal in it. The food, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful.

This place feels like a time warp and is carefully thought out. It's on the slightly more expensive side but totally worth it.

Very unique experience at the show itself, but something about the organization and logistics behind it was very unsettling. It became very commercialized and therefore they charge for whatever they can even though the tickets are very expensive to begin with. For example, they charge for the coats at the entrance even though it's hot inside and essentially mandatory for the experience to leave them at the entrance. It would have been a 5 otherwise.

Dont miss it! You will understand that dramas work without words: movements, music, tension... You can move all around the 5 levels or simply sit in a comfortable armchair - something always will happen. I spent more than 2 hours without getting bored. Of course, nothing to do with Machbeth, but who cares?!? Dont hesitate to explore the McKittrick-team!!! I hope to return!

Cool area of manhattan, went to a few bars inside the "hotel" one was the lodge at gallow green! deff go there if you want to feel cozy in a ski house at some mountain...

Sleep No More was a great adventure. Recommended for a fine night of exploring and climbing stairs.

Amazing experience at the actual show led us to revisit for a beer and a couple of drinks which we were allowed to. That gave us a table in the restaurant despite we did not order food.

Both visits were amazing experiences and I have recommended this to everybody going to NYC and those who followed the advice have only confirmed the experience to amazing

The idea of participating (can't tell just going) in this amazing show was the best experience I've got in my near past!!! I definitely recommend to join the Pro team!

Finally made it to "Sleep No More"...and, all I can say is What A Wild Experience! We started the evening by attending the dinner they offer prior to the early Saturday night show. Food was very good, the ambience a bit creepy (as it should be) and the show was mind boggling. A return visit is in order!

Love this place for their live music and $0 entry for their jazz club, I end up buying a beer or two anyway. Such a neat spot. My friends told me Sleep No More was fantastic.

Sleep no more was an experience to remember in new York!

It was a unique and beautiful experience the actors are no doubt talented and dedicated to their performance. However, I know I would ve had a better experience if it wasn t too overcrowded. I could barely follow any of the stories and I wanted to so bad especially for the price that it is. I felt like if I was in a race more than actually enjoying it. I would go again but definitely on a weekday and perhaps on lower season with less tourists. There is the option to take a little break in the main bar area especially after wearing a plastic mask and walking endlessly in dark places, you will get tired and sweaty. Watch out for being too close you will get your clothes stained with splatters.

This was one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had. Go in with no knowledge or expectations and prepare to be wowed.
My only criticism is that they admitted too many guests into the experience at once. It was very overcrowded, and many people were just running around, running amok and not being respectful to the experience. Some people even took their masks off or only wore casual clothes which was just not in keeping with the atmosphere. Instead it started to feel more like an amusement park haunted house, than a theatrical experience. I think they really need to clamp down on that behaviour and those people who aren't taking the experience seriously.

Speakeasy Magic was amazing. The mentalist was downright incredible. All the magicians were fantastic. It was a fun evening out.

Fantastic venue, fantastic cast and fantastic drink selection. If you're going for Sleep No More, don't be shy exploring all the rooms and always split away from the crowd so you can have a truly unique experience. If you're going to the bar, stay for the music with new bands each night that are sure to please.

Hands down my favorite piece theatre. Not for everyone(it's a very immersive set and cast), but with an open mind you'll have an amazing experience. Wear sensible shoes, you'll be on your feet all night.

I have been to the McKittrick Hotel four times now and have yet to be disappointed. The cast and crew are absolutely amazing, and certainly help to make the night worth every penny. This wasn't the first, nor will it be the last time I return to my room t the McKittrick Hotel.

You can see a new type of audience participation play. I think it's really bad. It's a hotel from the entrance, but this is where I wanted to be.
I kept seeing the same thing stupidly, but I had to diligently wander around, keep following the actor, and find new clues and leave. However, because it was too dark and the atmosphere was scary, I couldn't go very well, and it was difficult to understand the whole thing because the performances were performed simultaneously.

If you are bored or too scared in the middle, you can watch the performance in a lounge with a pleasant atmosphere like a jazz performance.

One of the coolest places I've ever been to. Can't share more!

Wow, Sleep No More was a revelation! Surely I will return! The sets are very well done, and all confusing.

The producers of the sleep no more were greedy: The number of people in the audience was much, much more than the optimal. It was impossible to follow the performers. Too many people walking and hitting each other in the hallways killed the artistic experience, totally.

Suggestion to the producers: cut the number of audience by half, and even more: make it 1/3 of what we experienced. You'll make it more artistic, and people may come twice which compensates for the lost profit.

Fantastic venue for Sleep No More. Drinks and dinner at Gallows Green are great - open rooftop is really nice in spring summer fall.

Home of one of the best immersive theater experiences in NYC, the McKittrick Hotel is a summer rooftop, a winter lodge, a restaurant, a live music venue, a jazz bar, and much more! This place doesn't stop surprising me. Definitely do not miss Sleep No More.

Always a wonderful time. This place is a rare gem.

Must see show. Go it alone when inside. The ending, brilliant. On top of your ticket, you have to check your jacket in at a cost, as well as buy a drink (optional, but they're expensive). Recommended to all my friends.

"Sleep No More" was one of the best performances I've ever seen (or in this case, participated in). At the end of November its over, so I suggest buying a plane ticket to NYC and seeing it at your earliest opportunity.

Meh. If you like being pushed and by fan boys and fan girls that are chasing an actor, this thing is great. The environment is amazing amazing amazing. The fans suck.

This isn't a hotel -- but an interactive theater space for Sleep No More. If you haven't seen this and you're in Manhattan, I highly recommend it. They've done some really intriguing things with the space that are either heaven or hell for the 'audience'. The attached restaurant and bar are also worth checking out, as much for the 1920s atmosphere as the fare.

Lovely evening of mystery, drama, and atmosphere. Too much to take in in one evening. You'll find yourself climbing up and down the same staircases rapidly again and again. Very warm, so be ready to drop layers once you get in. Overall worth the experience since it's unlike anything you've probably done before.

We went for the "Sleep No More" show, and we found the same out-of-time atmosphere at the bar. Actors and actresses will even come to chat with you!

This was the best thing we did in New York.

We were looking for unique experiences; we weren t sure what to expect, but we bought tickets for dinner and a show, The Woman in Black, and arrived at the hotel."

We were led inside this mysterious building and the elevator attendant brought us to our floor. We were led to our table which was a private booth - in a train car! Not just any train car - an old-timey one that makes you feel like you re in an Agatha Christie novel.

Our server, John, was an absolute delight (he reminded us of Dr. Who ((Matt Smith)) in the best way; whimsical and eloquent). The menu was delicious and offered classic English fare - my pot-pie was perfect, and the sticky pudding after was to die for.

The cocktail menu was also impressive, but I am currently obsessed with gin-aviations, and asked John if such a thing were possible to procure. He knew precisely what the drink was, and immediately had the ingredients brought over from their neighboring restaurant to make it for me!

Then, showtime. It turned out I was familiar with the story - it was made into a good horror movie some years back - superbly acted and engaging. I literally screamed, I was so IN the story.

What a magically eerie, beautiful, and brilliant experience. Don t miss it - we ll surely be back next time we visit the city.

Very unusual, but pretty fascinating. Wear comfortable shoes. I think it's something that you need to go to a few times to completely understand.

I've never been low-key racist shaded. But God damn the place was able to do it. Racist/10

Ab intersting experience. The only problem is that it's very easy to get off plot and mix everything up.. they don't guide you much at the entrance about how it can be enjoyed best. The experience is definetly unique

Didn t like it at all. The place is indeed beautiful, yet the experience was kinda boring.

Sleep no more will definitely be an experience like none other, whether you like it or not. While it feels creepy, especially at first it isn't actually scary. I was bored for the first hour while I just explored but the real action starts when you see the actors. I wasn't motivated to always follow them, many people were running. It doesn't feel like a play but more of a fun house for adults complete with masked people, nudity and blood. Yes, think Eyes Wide Shut...

This place was amazing there is no simple way to describe this immersive theater other than you become part of the play . The set's are well designed and lit the actors are literally from out of this world they make you feel your watching real scenes unfold in front of your eyes and the host's at the bar are very accommodating and makes the whole experience come together.
I really recommend spending the money for this amazing experience and I will definitely visit this place again when I'm in New York .

Spatial, truly an extraordinary experience. Dinner at the club car is less pleasant as in addition to the undoubted quality of the food, the extraordinary experience is less (it is like going to any high-end restaurant).

Incredibly memorable and unique experience. True, I wish there were fewer guests (and I d pay a little more for that), but it did not take away from the story. Find your own adventure and know there are multiple things going on at once. Allow yourself to be surprised, shocked and fascinated - treat yourself

Absolutely phenomenal. A must if you're in the city for a week, or a weekend, or if you live here. I recommend it to everyone.

it is almost a scam. no scenario, no actors, no performance. boring boring boring. dont listen even your best friend that tell you it is amazing. keep your money for other showsssss.

I went in without any knowledge of what row of "play" it was. You start at the bar with what seemed like 50 or more people (they will stagger folks in so actual count of people inside is more). At some point you will be ushered into a small room where they detail the rules and then you are taken to a random floor and left to explore the play first hand. Here are 3 strategies - follow one person, stay and observe all actions in one room, switch characters ever so often. One thing to note is your will be moving quite a lot, characters move fast and there were several instances of people hitting each other, stomping on your feet when running to follow. Be careful on the stairs. Also please don't take pictures, there were a couple of people who kept on doing that and was annoying even though your are warned against that.
Overall:
+ Unique experience, awesome actors, great details on set
- too many people, can be unsafe, sometimes claustrophobic, difficult to follow sometimes

Sleep no more is one of Shakespeare's famous dramas, combining literature and modern dance, but not everyone can resonate, and the fares are rising year by year. People who are not interested should not waste money.

Wow wow wow!!! Just had the most mind blowing experience. Masked. Interactive. Theatre. Intense. Adrenalin. Raunch. Dark. Mental. Absolutely mental. It's where Macbeth meets Hitchcock. It's like wandering into a David Lynch or Stanley Kubrick movie. I am still reeling.

The second time I saw Sleep No More it was even better than the first. Before or after in the bar you can relax and listen to beautiful music and drink delicious cocktails (they aren't cheap though).

Had a great time celebrating the new year at The McKittrick. A very unique experience I would highly recommend.
