Good price for tickets, but recommend buying them online lik we did. The line to purchase tickets was extremely long and we got there right when the park opened. Very large zoo, lots of places to eat and drink and rest a while. There's also a nice shaded kids play area. Don't forget the sunscreen, unless you want to pay $17.50 for a 6 oz bottle.

I've been visiting the zoo since I was a kid and it's amazing all the changes it's been through. Many of the exhibits have been improved and the grounds are just gorgeous. As a member, I love visiting just to take a leisure stroll. Now with the various fundraisers and the Roaring Nights, the zoo is even more fun!

Worth the $136 for a family pass (w/ student or military ID or senior) we would have paid about 90 for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. They have a park for kids inside the zoo and you are allowed to bring food/drinks.

We went for the holidays of lights festival at the Zoo. Last year we had a great time even though not all the lights were working and they didn't play any Christmas music. This time was much different all the light displays were upgraded and there was Christmas music playing. It was definitely worth going.

It's Ok,

It's Ok,
They Should Definitely Improve The Animal Living Condition Along With Having Animals Available To See Or Atleast Advise When Certain Animals Are Not Going To Be In Their Exhibits.
I Went This Past Weekend And There were Many Enclosures Empty and It Was Honestly Pretty Disappointing seeing That Their Admission Charge Is Pretty Pricey.
I Really Recommend The Rare Bird Show It Was Really Nice .

A pretty nice zoo but the pens are quite uneven. The enclosure of the chimpanzees is magnificent then leaves that of the tigers is rather average. The zoo is under construction. The game about reptiles is really good. It takes 3 hours to go around the zoo.

Great place for kids. Entrance is inexpensive. Everything else, like food and souvenirs are priced as expected. Friendly, knowledgeable staff . It's in a beautiful area and animals look to be kindly tended too.

It was an unforgettable day with a large part of my family! !
I liked seeing so many animals of different types of ways of living, like these animals in the photo but especially seeing with the tenderness that that mother hugged her baby, but I think there are places inside the zoo that should be cleaner and cleaner. , It is not very pleasant to visit an animal and that the place stinks.

The Los Angeles Zoo is a great place to spend a day. The animals are well cared for in spacious areas. The grounds are pleasing to the eye and the plants and trees make for a beautiful landscape. Young and old alike can enjoy this experience. The zoo is spacious too, so that even on a crowded day the visitor doesn't have a cramped experience. And, since the weather is beautiful year-round a day at the zoo is a safe bet 12 months a year. Most visitors to Los Angeles or Hollywood don't consider a day at the zoo, but they should! And, for those of you visiting from out-of-town the zoo is only a fifteen minute drive from the heart of Hollywood.

It is a place to spend a family weekend with a wide variety of animals, on the other hand it is a cheap place with a lot of walking ground. I personally love the place to spend time with my family.

An average zoo with an average number of exhibits, an average number of unique animals, and an average number of visitors, nothing spectacular here, but a nice place to spend a few hours if you have time on your hands, not a staple on a visit to LA.

Chilling monkey !Los Angeles Zoo is a little gem perfect to get up and go and visit in one day if you live in Los Angeles . I used not to like zoosk because the animals are not on the wild until learning the stunning work they do to help endangered species

Huge zoo with lots of animals. It took us almost 4 hours to do the whole loop and see most of the animals.

I also liked the plant exhibits. It's a perfect mixture.

There are a lot of activities for kids, but be aware most of them rewire you to pay extra.
