Sci-fi Slumber Party was great! Cannot believe I stayed all night. 6 movies in 12 hours.
I really enjoyed the movie. And everyone was decent. The place was nice and I really enjoyed myself.
Awesome movies, great atmosphere, and wonderful people.
Adorable art house cinema with beer and wine, local food options (including vegan options), and really great movie picks.
I wish everyone would support this cinema as it is the only place in the Tucson area where you can see movies that are not in the "mainstream"(stories for teens or old, farty folks), but instead creative, innovative independent films.
Always amazing, clean, super friendly staff. The only problem I have with this place is they treat you better if you're a regular there.
Adorable, cheap (with student discount!) movie theater that shows the art-house movies you won t find anywhere else. What s not to love?
I love supporting local businesses, as well as seeing great films. The Loft is a fun experience. Oftentimes showing films not shown in regular theaters. A lot of fun events here as well, Like Grease Sing -Along night.
love the concept of presenting exceptional movies in an intimate space.
Cool local art house theatre with a good beer selection.
Great people, good surround sound, great atmosphere
Great movie and nice venue. Fair price on concessions, too. That's a nice change from other movie theaters.
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Loft cinemas and hope to get back there soon. I went for the Tucson Jewish International Film Festival's opening night. The concessions were great and unique to Tucson (i.e. lots of local foods). The employees were very helpful with making suggestions about food and beverage choices. The theaters themselves were nice. No reclining seats like some theaters have gone too, but not necessary with the theater sizes this venue had. The combination of free movies, indie films, and classics that they play make this theater top notch. Will definitely be going back.
Best cinema in Tucson. I love the sense of community at this place. Best place to see amazing movies that the regular theaters don't show. Also, beer!
A great piece showing off the awesome side of Tucson. Nonprofit showing little know flicks, indy movies, and local films made by Tucsonians.
Can drink beer if you're of age, great film selection, friendly and knowledgeable employees, active in the community, favorite Cinema in the area. There are also cool specials now and then. Good job Loft Cinema!
I can't give this place anything less than five stars. If I could give more I would! The loft really goes out of it's way to have an interesting and well thought out schedule. The staff that works there is super engaged and it really shows in everything they do. There is a membership package that gives you discounts and access to special events. There is pretty much no downside to being a member. Sign up!
This plane is great! They curate their movies so well. I recommend trying to see the movie you're interested in on screen 1. They have a 70 mm projector available there there, very comfortable seats with fold-away arm rests, and the screen itself is huge.
On top of everything they have good beer available and pretty decent food options. Tucson should be extremely thankful to host this establishment.
I love this place. I've been a loft member and I really enjoyed it, I love how this theatre loves Tucson and it's people. They host really fun movie events, and have great selections. Also I highly recommend First Friday night shorts, never a let down, always hilarious.
I love the atmosphere here and they offer / great student discount on tickets!
Really cool and unique place! Definitely recommend going at least once to first Friday shorts!
Whenever I'm in Tucson, I make it a point to see a movie at The Loft - we just don't have those kind of classic old theaters in Phoenix! It's always a good time, from the art house fare to the late night classics. Cherish this treasure, Tucson!
Very friendly staff, lots of smiles. We went for a Loft Jr movie, so sometimes it's a bit rough with a ton of kids, but it was great. Lots of fun and will definitely go back.
The Loft is wonderful! Always something unique and fun!
Best beer, best staff, best pop corn, best movies! What more could you want?
Saw "Murder on the Orient Express". Sittings were nice! Good movie!
This spot features obscure shows, and movies that are best in the theater.
One day they will upgrade the experience into a more modern feel, but until then will always be a supporter.
Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, good films at good prices
Excellent, modern screen, projector and sound quality paired with hometown old school theatre feel. Including a stage that makes events like performer/director Q & A sessions, the Loft is Tucson's best place to view cinema.
They have good programs with community and college grouos
Amazing independent theater and treasure for Tucson. Great variety of films, old and new, and supports local filmmakers too. Great beer, wine, and some food too. Check it out!
Great indie films all the time. The annual Loft film Festival was terrific this year - 2017.
The seats were comfortable, but the floor is not sloped. Therefore when an electric wheelchair stopped in front of my seat I couldn't see the bottom of the screen. The film we watched had a lot of text on the bottom of the screen.
This is the perfect place to escape the Tucson heat and have an exotic beer while you take in a movie! Several choices and you get to support a non-profit organization that cares about indie films. Love the Loft!
Love the free movies during the Loft Kids Fest, and so do my granddaughters
Went to a free kid's movie screening--lovely theater with comfy seats. They gave out free bags of popcorn and had a craft for the kids beforehand, and a raffle afterwards for some nice little prizes (and involved the kids in pulling the tickets). An excellent summer morning activity with my grandsons!
It's got character =) was a nice place to go for a movie
Comfortable atmosphere & affordable snacks.
Thank you.
The Loft is undergoing renovations that should restore it to its former glory.
Those that orchestrate and present the Loft, are
extraordinary.
We went to the Mother's Day "Hairspray" sing-along and had a great time!!!
The loft has always been a staple of my movie going experiences in Tucson. It's a classic theater and originally the largest Tucson. They've updated it with current hardware while maintaining the charm of the original place. The staff are always kind and the prices of concessions are always reasonable. They treat members really well and have lots of fun screenings. If you haven't been to the loft before you definitely need to go.
The Hard Day's night singalong was fabulous. Please consider doing the again. I will be back friends! If not how about "Help".
Tiny theater but was a decent place with a decent crowd.
Always a great time at the loft! Amazing hosts bring out the fun in everyone!
Such a cool mom & pop movie theater. It's got a great feel and I always enjoy going here.
I love the loft because of the variety of movies they have. It is not another main stream movie house. Plus my membership gives me loads of perks.
Great place, so unique and cozy. Comfortable seats excellent .designer pop corn. Great to enjoy dinner and drinks while watching a movie. Parking is good.
Movies not shown elsewhere, building is a little tired
A classic, the perfect place to go when you cant think of anything else to do tonight
I didn't care about climbing up & down stairs to see the movie, and didn't like the popcorn. The movie was good thought.
Hadn't been there in a few years and was pleasantly surprised at the newer seats. Comfortable and adequate leg room.
It is always a treat to go to The Loft. The movies shown at The Loft are not always available for viewing at the conventional theaters. The Loft is a charming place. As members, we love getting the free popcorn, and my husband said that the pizza, which comes from Fresco Pizza, is of gourmet quality.
Not your typical theater but it works. Seats could be more comfy. Sound is great.
I do not like the small theatre. It is not a great experience although loved movie. I go to movies for the large screen and sound system.
Every time I go there, I wonder why I don't go more often. The thinking person's movie house. No robots in space movies. Microbrews at the snack bar. Memberships available.
Food is super expensive but it's really fun if you're a cinephile.
