VERY CLASSY ! My wife and I drove up here yesterday with the intention of going for a long walk to help my ailing back. However we decided to take a look inside The Lodge before commencing our exercise walk. It's a very well built structure with high end appointments. We wandered around inside and outside beside the huge swimming pool. There was a private event going on in one of the huge rooms and lots of guests having a ton of fun. We checked out the A.R. Valentien restaurant upstairs and the menu but after asking a female server we decided to head downstairs to The Grill...a more casual eatery as the lady explained. I'm sure just about anybody would be happy with a hotel room here given the ocean view, the classy subdued vibe and the excellent restaurant.

Good food. Sweet staff. Beautiful interior and exterior (obviously).

Okay. To be honest I haven't been there.Yet.But I will go there when It's summertime.It looks really really beautiful and grand and elegant.This,definitely,is the right hotel to stay in.It totally deserves the five star.

Was there for an alumni event and found it absolutely beautiful. The food and the service were both great during the event, and the hotel staff was the most professional and considerate I've encountered. And of course it's hard to beat those views!

Attended a beer dinner pairing, the food and the service were incredible. Best experience I've had at any establishment bar none. Chef Kyle is arguably one of, if not the best chef in San Diego. Will definitely be attending more events! Highly recommend the lodge/grill at Torry pines.

Excellent location friendly staff and great accommodations. Was there for a food craft event, Celebrate The Craft sponsored by The Lodge. Beautiful day and great chefs and wine and beer and people. 17th Year and gets better every year. Looking forward to next year.

Beautiful hotel and setting. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms. A great place to feel like you are "getting away from it all!" Helpful staff. Amazing sunsets.

The Lodge has a very rustic feel, similar to what you'd find in the Yosemite area. Very spacious rooms. Fire pits are located throughout the property and fun to use at night. Very large pool with a bar and towel service. Steps away from the golf course. Ocean views from some parts of the property. Would definitely stay here again!

Every service were great and the view was excellent

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge! The views from the lodge are gorgeous and the staff was very accommodating, they allowed us a super early check in for no extra charge because our flight landed early.

Handsome, well-appointed California craftsman style lodge on one of San Diego's finest views. Hikes in Torrey Pines Reserve nearby are fantastic as is the beach below. Excellent service and staff. Well worth the stay.

Lunch in the grille with my sisters and daughter made a beautiful beginning. Then we all split up for facials and massages in the spa. I can't think of one single complaint! From the hallways to the lobby's crackling fire to the luscious landscape and rejuvenating spa--this is the ideal spot to spend time in San Diego. And I live here!

Great atmosphere for an evening out for dinner while the sun sets. The golf course is always a beautiful backdrop. The pecan crusted chicken was just like I am used to getting back in Georgia. Wonderful meal.

I have been the DJ for many wedding and parties at The Lodge. It is an amazing venue with a beautiful lawn area for the ceremony & cocktail hour. The reception rooms are indoors and the food is great! I suggested that my friends stay here and they loved it! Last year my friends got married here.

The Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Excellent rooms. Fireplaces. Incredibly friendly and professional staff. And then there are the golf course and the view to take into account. Del Mar is a short Uber/Lyft ride away so you have a great variety of good restaurants at your fingertips.

It's was a Google event down there for three days but I would definitely come back there as a guest one more time.

We had a great dinner overlooking the golf course in the veranda at sunset. Steak and pork chops are amazing.

Torrey Pines is clearly a special place to anyone who walks through the front doors, and we felt that the moment we arrived. From the service, to the room, to the view, to the food, etc. it was a magical stay and one we will treasure for a very long time.

Had dinner at AR Valentien. Delicious dinner and view. Entrees are in the 35-50 range.

A little renovation and more brightness would not be luxury

Wonderful place to celebrate wedding aniversary. It has a beautiful panoramic view.

First class service: a light, polite, and very effective touch. Classic ambiance: quiet colors, solid appointments, and low noise means I like being there and can have easy conversation. I had a hamburger... tasted great, and very filling.

A very beautiful hotel as far as architecture and interior design goes, AND it would be hard to beat the location. This venue is surrounded by the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Course and much of this hotel's activities and guests visit because of the course. The staff here is totally focused on service, so all of them are friendly, courteous, and yearn to assist in any way.

We had a great event here. Everything was perfect from the decor to the food. Great time spent with friends. Will definitely return again.

As a wedding photographer, The Lodge at Torrey Pines is the ultimate location for a wedding! The lodge and area are obviously world renowned for a reason and they have endless options for weddings both big and intimate! The golf courses are obviously stunning, but the sunset is always a show stopper. The whole resort seems to stop and take the time to soak it. Highly recommend for couples looking to get married in San Diego!

Every time I visit this place, I love it more. Hotel setting is beautiful. Service is awesome. Food is tremendous. Highly recommend it!

Torrey is an amazing golf course and the lodge is very nice.

Torrey Pines Lodge is incredible. This 5 star diamond resort has everything a nature girl could ask for. Amazing hiking trails on close to the property, which takes you on the beach. There are nature gardens on the trails as well. The service is top notch. I love the complementary trail mix and water. The spa is excellent. I had a wonderful masseuse named Linda who gave me a great massage. The steam room was relaxing. Such a great experience.

We love this hotel! 5 stars in every respect front the staff to the rooms to the food and wine. They said they were 100% booked but it didn t even feel crowded. The kids had a great time at the pool but if you come without kids it would still feel like a romantic getaway. When you stay here you are close to so many fun places in San Diego, but we don t want to leave so usually stay put on the hotel grounds. This is such a gem in San Diego. If you are visiting or even a local like us just wanting a staycation, we highly recommend the lodge!

Amazing venue? Golf course and the ocean! We sat on the patio drank a lovely oakey Chardonnay with wonderful entrees. The best of all world's! Don't miss this Lodge!

Best service, great rooms, fantastic restaurant. Would recommend to friends and family and stay here again. Easy location to get to all the attractions of San Diego and the surrounding areas.

Very beautiful location , a staff that is welcoming and most impressive is that this lodge is VERY clean and neat all the way to the building itself ! The rooms "even the basic rooms" have everything you need . No details are left out ! They are wonderful and have amazing bathrooms ! The lodge is very organized and runs like a well oiled machine . Their staff is fantastic all the way around from the restaurants to service ! What a neat , cozy and comfy getaway ! We saw a few people complain at check out and how STUPID did they look !! Complaining about the most trivial things, don't listen to negative reviews !
