Great staff great, Hotel. Good food, friendly family environment. Great activities on site. The bed could have been softer as well as the pillows but other than that we had an excellent stay.
Always love the Landmark Resort. When I make the trip to Myrtle Beach, I always stay here. The staff is awesome and amenities great! Have never had a bad time here.
The staff at landmark don t care about you at all I hurt myself there been out of work for three weeks and they could have refunded one night but no they didn t I will not stay there again
Wear and tear over the years is noticeable inside and out. Smelled like pee in the hallway, stairwell, and bedroom, but customer service was exceptional.

It's a classic beach resort with everything you'd want and expect. My visit was during the early spring so unfortunately the mini golf and water park were closed but they looked like fun. It had instant, easy access to the beach and everything around. The parking garage has a skybridge. Extremely helpful staff. Each room has a balcony with very basic furniture (read: plastic) but I'm not complaining. The beds are comfy and the showers are reasonably sized enough for two people. Access to ice was a little more of a walk than someone as lazy as I am is used to haha.
First upon arriving I was given the wrong room. Management fixed it and gave me the room I originally was told that I would be getting at no additional charge. So I was very happy and satisfied with that.
However my family and I went downstairs for dinner at Latitudes Bar & Grill. The service received was absolutely herendous. The server got my order wrong. I made her aware of it and she took my food away. And had something else made for me. Again I was satisfied. Until.....she then completely forgot my daughters order altogether. My entire family was done eating and packaging up their leftovers before my daughter ever even received her meal. The server never did check back on us. As well as she never offered refills on our drinks. I made her aware of my dissatisfaction. And instead of apologizing for the poor service, she had the audacity to take my bill out of my hand and add on an 18% gratuity. Knowing damn well she did NOT deserve it. I asked to speak to her manager. And as I m telling the manager everything that took place the server started speaking over me and became argumentative!!!!! I have NEVER been so dissatisfied as well as disappointed in lack of service or lack of empathy with anyone as I am tonight.
The only good thing was Aaliyah the Front desk manager . She was very friendly and apologetic as well as disappointed in the service my family was given.
This was my family s first family vacation where all my kids, my son in law and my grandkids have taken together. And I can assure you this will be the last vacation we ever take to this resort.
We arrived at the hotel at 6:30 p.m the line had 50 + people literally...we left and went got food thinking the line should be gone...NOPE...the line doubled needless to say we didn t get checked in until 10 that night stood in line for almost 2 hours...NO hot water to shower...We ended our stay early...We will NOT come back...Staff was nice tho!!!
This place was great, dishes, dish detergent, ice cube trays. Breakfast was amazing every morning and you didn't have to wait for new food to be brought out. The pools, hot tubs and pool area are all well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again when I come back.
This motel was not the resort in the pictures. I understand something's being closed for covid. That doesn't excuse the mildew type smell on the floor. The service was subpar other than the bartender. She was great. There are far better places to stay than this MOTEL.
Pools are nice but the rooms are kind've raggedy. I'd go back.
This hotel is awesome. The indoor and outdoor pools are a great feature. The staff is polite and very helpful. I would stay at this hotel every time i come to myrtle beach if possible.
Hotel is beautiful and has everything you might want except for one thing the couch I slept on had BED BUgS and I tried showing the front desk the video I had recorded and she did not want to see it. She refunded me my money back and sent me on my way. Will never spend my money and time here again.
Not satisfied with it! The rug had not been vacuum, you walk on rug bare foot, your feet are so dirty with hair clingy to it! The stopper in the tub was broken, my mom had to wait until they fixed it to take a bath!! The coke machines by the ice machine on all floors did not work! I will not go back to Landmark Resort!!
Very fun and friendly family resort. Only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because we couldn't check in due to a power outage because of a wreck. People were everywhere and the staff really did not know how to accommodate such a big waiting crowd. It was a inconvenience not being able to check in so we rode around for 2 hours so our baby wouldn't get so cranky. Other than that mishap everything was great.
It is actually an ocean front RESORT for the family! It has a 11 pools, 2 lazy rivers, put put , a couple of restaurants, and is within walking distance to a grocery WALMART. Perfect for a family on a budget. The rooms are decent and staff is corteous.
The suite was fair. The resort was Poorly maintained and not very clean.
We enjoyed our stay at the Landmark tremendously! We had a bedroom, full kitchen, living room, and ocean front balcony on the 4th floor. We spent a lot of time in the lazy rivers, hot tubs, and on the beach.
The Landmark is the place for families. They have all the entertainment you need in one place. Ocean, beach, pools, lazy river, small water park, mini golf, DJ , bar and snack shack at the pool. All of that is included with your room. The have family friendly entertainment at night too. You can rent chairs and an umbrella at the beach for the whole day. So worth it but get it early. They get rented quickly. Clean rooms but a bit dated. Mini kitchen and balcony for every room. Not all rooms are Ocean view.
Terrible Hotel!! Soooo DIRTY!! I clean for a living and this place made me want to ask hotel management for cleaning supplies to clean for them! Cheese stuck on ceiling in elevator, cockroaches, all windows filthy!! Hand prints all over as if they havent been cleaned in weeks, cobwebs through out, mold smell through out, super outdated. I would never recommend someone to stay at this hotel. Desperately needs new management, more staff maybe? This hotel needs HELP!! Only good experience was the restaurant, it was clean, staff was friendly and food was good!
Good Things:
The room was nice, and very clean. We had no view whatsoever, but we also booked through Hotwire, with a $50 a night room rate, so I am not complaining.
Most of the staff was friendly.
Housekeeping did a great job.
The indoor area was huge, and the kids seemed to like it, but we have stayed at places with better indoor areas.
Lots of hot tubs, and they are nice and hot!
Bad Things:
Two staff members were EXTREMELY rude to me. The night I checked in, I realized that I had left my credit card in the car, so I asked to put cash down. I inquired as to why the man next to me only had to pay $50. but they asked for $100 from me. I wasn't upset...just curious. The girl checking me in did not know, but the girl next to her told me it was because he was a former employee. That was fine, and I was satisfied with the answer, but then the girl who explained it to me said "Tonight Sucks" under her breath. WHAT???!!!??? I called the manager, and they gave us free breakfast. I would have cancelled then, if it wouldn't have been a hotwire booking.
The next day, my 5 year old son was jumping into the lazy river. There are no rules posted, and he wasn't being unruly, disturbing anyone, or jumping hard. One of the maintenance men yelled at him, and said that "He didn't want to see what happens, if he did it again." I confronted him, with his manager and not only did he deny it, he went to so far as to tell me that he saved my son from drowning, and most people would be thankful. What a jerk. My son can swim and was nowhere near drowning. At first he tried to deny that he even yelled at my son, but the more I prodded him, he finally admit that "Seeing kids in danger gets him excited." Let me assure you that my child was NEVER in danger, and if can't talk to people who patronize his business in a calm voice, then he needs to get another job.
They have smoking and non smoking rooms on the same floors. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke do not stay here, or ask if there are non smoking floors.
The clientele there was not the best. Perhaps it was because of the off season and the rooms are cheap. About 4 people came into the indoor area screaming and yelling, and all got into the lazy river, running around in it, getting in everyone's way, and splashing water everywhere, and not ACTUALLY do his job. A person's cell phone was taken, but they have video cameras, and recovered it (just referring to the clientele).
I doubt I will stay here again. Too many better places for the same, or a better price.
At check in it was quick. We got an angle view with a king size bed and a Murphy bed. We contemplated sleeping on the Murphy bed as it was a lot comfier, not as hard as the king bed. But the king bed actually slept very well surprisingly. The room itself isn t bad, has dishes in the cabinets which is very nice. A downfall is that the toilet wouldn t flush, I had to jiggle stuff to get the tank to fill up, we were only at the hotel to sleep so it wasn t a huge deal to us. At 8am we could hear our neighbo have a heated discussion. And the indoor pool area was over crowded but it wasn t so over crowded it was uncomfortable. I m sure during peak season it would be horrible. Now the parking garage. It s nice that the hotel has a parking garage, and that there s a handy dandy walkway. What s not nice is getting in and out of it. As long as you go slow you re alright. They should paint direction arrows. And it s a tight squeeze for two big vehicles.
But overall I would come back here again. But I wouldn t pay more than 150 a night here (that s with all the fees that are included) it s nice. But not that nice.

Check in was a breeze. The manager Mr Richardson made sure to be polite and attended to all our needs. We immediately hit the pool for some fun in the water!!

I give it two stars because it was on the beach and the beach was decent other than that it s a NO for me. Looks nothing like the pictures they have on line very deceiving. The place is just dirty and run down , smells horrible . NOT sanitary at all . The restroom near the pool was disgusting, We book 3 night and only stayed one . I would not recommend it to anyone
Security is terrible, visited and went swimming without having a room there or knowing someone with a room. The pools were great tho!

This is one of the worse places I ve been in in Myrtle beach the pictures don t look like the hotel it needs updates needs cleaned and repainted! Loud noises all night I was very disappointed nothing about this place is nice! And I mean nothing! The pools are very stained at the bottom so is the hot tubes the ones that do get hot just a overall bad experience! Ghetto as hell I will never go back!!!
Stayed here last night. Our beds had black stuff all over them. The towels were dirty and the door wouldn't even close. Half the lights didn't work. We called management and they didn't seem to care. Took them almost 2 hours to get up here. The housekeeper came and was very ghetto and yelling on the phone. They didn't do anything and said it was from the air conditioning. We normally stay here but won't again!!
The lynmoore is usually a drug-infested hotel or the area around it lately I have to give the hotel high ratings this weekend it was solid book so evidently they're doing something right I met a friend online pick him up and we spent the day together memories are made here the landmark is located on 15th Avenue South in Myrtle Beach
Not really thrilled. Mostly as advertised but very dated. Personnel were fine, but the building appeared old and grimy. The kids had a great time and that's all that counts.

This hotel is filthy!!! It smells horrible. Furniture and carpet in room and all over hotel is disgusting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!!! I will say I didn't see bugs but the way that place looked and smelled I know they are there. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!

The pictures make this place look great. We ask for ocean view but had the hotel next door and had to peep around the corner to look at the ocean. If you want upscale this is NOT the place to go. Everything is out dated. All the pools are very small. I was told it was a water park that is far from being a water park. I will not recommend this place at all.
We stayed in room 910. I gotta say it was the best room we've stayed in. The kids loved the pool area and the service was great. My family and I will make sure we get this room the next time we visit Landmark.
Wonderful customer service, great room and great food at the breakfast buffet and from Lattitudes for dinner. Totally happy with our experience this weekend.
This my second time staying here, first time during the summer and the room was great and amenities are great!
I have no complaints on our 3BR penthouse room. It was clean, roomy and house keeping did a great job. Staff were very friendly.
However, the hotel is older. There is no ventilation in the hallways or elevators and both were very hot, stagnant and slow. We would wait up to 10 minutes at times on an elevator. The beach front is very narrow and rocky. I love to sit out on the beach but that was impossible at this location. Pools were cloudy and had a lot of sand on the bottom.
Our room was not ready at promised by the 4pm check in time.
My biggest complaint is there are over 500 rooms and only 35 carts for check in/out. We waited over an hour for a cart to check in. On the eve of the morning we were to leave, we searched the lobby and several floors looking for carts but there were none. Checked before 7 am the next morning and again, there were none. We were ready to check out by 9:00am but ended up having to pay the bellman to assist so we could get out of our room by 11.
Guests can't leave on time because there are no carts which slows down housekeeping which delays check in times. I was there with my family and we had a great time. Again, the room itself was awesome but I can not say that about the services at the hotel. We pay a lot to stay and I expect better accommodations and services than those available during our stay.
Staff is friendly and accommodating. Room is nice but the smoke alarm is beeping loudly. Had maintenance in to fix it one day and the same thing happened the next day.
Here for a family vacation. Rooms were satisfactory, the amenities were great. Staff was helpful. Our only issue was the check-in process was very chaotic. Too many people trying to get in at the same time.
The Thanksgiving buffet is fantastic. If you get a chance to come here eat the buffet.

Clean, cheap, nice beach view, indoor pools and outdoor pools with HEATERS, arcade, a few built-in restaurants, quick access to rooms, laundry room, and comfy furniture. 10/10 would definitely come here again.

I decided to let my God sister pick the place for the first time since she wanted to get a idea on what it felt like to book a hotel and I must say, she did great for the first time! Enjoyed myself to the point where I didn't leave the hotel except going to the beach and Wet Willie's lol! Loved it here!
Well let's see. The past few years that me and my family have stayed here we have had to switch rooms multiple times due to them giving us the wrong room. It seems to be a reoccurring incident and honestly it's a hassle, we come here for a vacation so we can try and relax but every time we get settled in we have to move. Then today while in one of the hot tubs the light inside of it under the water came out of the wall. I do believe that the next time we plan to come back to Myrtle Beach we will stay somewhere else. As far as the staff they have been awesome and honestly that's why we came back in the first place but we won't next time.
We stay here all the time. Favorite place don't have to go anywhere places to eat shows, pools , lazy rivers ,putt-putt. Ice cream. We stayed somewhere else first of this summer just trying something different wasn't happy will never stray again.

This place hasn't changed in years. Good location and reasonable price if it isn't peak season. Rooms are run down but that's expected in a strip hotel I suppose.

This was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in. I was sleeping in filth!! I complained, and the staff switched me to a different room which was better. The photos are of updated rooms. Remember to ask for a newly remodeled room!! Waited in line 2 hours to check in.
Its been two weeks and I am still waiting on my deposit. Its bad enough they sent me to three rooms that was occupied.Then they gave me a food card and when I went to the restaurant to eat,the food was terrible. I t was a waste, now I cant get my deposit back.
Affordable, dated but clean. Staff is attentive considering the volume of guests and size and of the place. Pools were well kept. Parking is ample if a bit inconvenient

Great experience, however I would like to mention that I ordered food from a flyer that I found in my room da Vinci pizzeria the food was disgusting and waste of money I trusted the flyer because of the hotel . Plz don t let that kind of restaurant ruin the great reputation of the hotel
My husband and I are currently staying here for our honeymoon/vacation. We got married and came down afterwards from North Carolina!! I have not been on a vacation in 16 years and this was the only hotel my mother would stay at when she brought me as a little kid. The hotel is absolutely amazing, beautiful oceanfront view, friendly staff, great pools and Jacuzzi are amazing. Very close to fun activities!! Will definitely stay here when we come back !!!

Needs updating the rooms were only o.k. I seen some bugs I'm unfamiliar with crawling in the halls, some of the floors smelled of sour water from the wet carpets, not sure about the food didn't eat there
Walked in the hotel very clean, but yet soon to be fooled we stayed in room 1040 and once we turned on the heat there were roaches crawling out (yuck). Front desk was informed about it then said maintenance would come fix the problem and never did. We ended up going to their sister hotel Captain Quarters! Smh the need to fix their bug problem

The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beach, or enjoy conferences and activities. I especially enjoyed the variety of the pools and hot tubs, including the lazy rivers. The parking set up is efficient for larger groups.
Understaff. Got there and our room wasn't teady had to wait. Cockroaches are here as well. Will poat video if I can. Not enough Cart lugges nor bell boys. None of the staff are ever on the same page. One say this another says you can't. They put up Out of order signs on the elevators and they were working just fine.
While this hotel is dated and is in need of some remodeling, it is still a good place to stay. Its clean and employees are polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and it's a steal for the price.
Terrible.... Bad service, bad hotel, even worse rooms. Showers don't work and fixture falling apart. Asked the manager to give us a room with working shower... He moved us to a room that was even worse... Mold on the beds... Bad smell... Dirty shower and carpet. Hands down worst place to be. Manager wanted to argue with me, but he knew...

Awesome place with so many pools inside and out right on the beach! Just stop at the store and stock up on stuff before you go, do u dont have to leave and/or pay for drinks and snacks
I wish I could leave a picture.... seriously the hotel rooms need some TLC. The pillows have blood spots on them, the popcorn ceiling is falling down. It's old and run d down and I don't recommend it at all for the price. So disappointed.

I booked a trip here for me and my husband very last minute because we weren't sure if the trip was going to happen or not. We stayed here because this was the cheapest we could find on sale. Overall if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and just have somewhere to sleep at night then it was great. Our room was cleaned daily and was right on the beach. The only complaints I have is the beds were rough, me and my husband both had sore backs after 5 nights here, and the linen was less than comfy. The blankets are too thin, I pulled the blanket off our second bed every night because I was cold and they were scratchy. And I also saw a couple bugs but they were in the outdoor halls and in the pool area. If they were in my room I would've been very upset. The elevators took way too long especially when you're standing in an unventilated area. But the pool area was cool and we mainly just came for the beach so it wasnt too bad.
