Lake Louise is definitely one of my favorite places to ski. Great terrain and amazing views.
I just wish they would upgrade some of their chairlifts... I'm looking at you Paradise....

Visited over Christmas break. Spent two days riding the mountain -- loved it, however snow conditions were not that great. Can't beat the scenery tho' and being outdoors. Breathtaking !!!
Good for learning, first time skiing so I had to go as hard as I could
I started snowboarding here Feb 2018, after 30 years skiing. Had great conditions
Great spring skiing! The views are pretty killer too!
Staff were not accommodating. Would recommend going to sunshine or kicking horse instead
Great skiing, very well organised, lots of space on the slopes. Have a picnic area inside with space for luggage storage all free. Best of the big 3
Brilliant ski area! Super great "slopes" through the forest! Super slopes to drive through deep snow!
Excellent ski center: high, large, with several slopes and undergrowth.
The view is amazing!
No words can explain the beauty of this place. We live in Calgary and we are so blessed to have this resort not far from our town. My girls go for ski every year and they love it. Even summer time, many people go there for Gondola ride and can see Bears if lucky :)
Five minutes drive from Lake Louise and 40 minutes from Banff, this ski resort offices diverse trails for all skill levels. If you want more hard core, go to Norquay. Long, diverse, mostly wide runs on the front side of the mountain, whilst the back bowls offer mostly advanced skiing, and better conditions in the afternoon if the front has become icy. Good facilities, decent food and drink options, loos, lockers, ski shop, etc. Skiing starts a short walk from the car park, unless you have to use the overflow car park. Plenty of lifts and few queues.
The more I sii there the more I enjoy it's enormous terrain. There is something for everyone.
Staff are friendly and some are even stationed at the tops of chair lift offering to help people! Wasnt super windy or anything, over all a fantastic place!
World class ski resort with high calibre skiers, competitions, loads of runs and a large Lodge area. Clever parking arrangements keep all spots within a 5 minute walk from the lodge
I feel the price of the gondola lift is a bit high, but it is the Canadian price.
The view is good, and the open lift is good because the wind feels good.
i loved the view but try and get close with a vehicle is disgusting .especially if your handicapped there is literally no place to park.and getting on a bus is not an option for some of us.
Great tree runs, good conditions, and automated ticket machines are quick!
Lesson's were great and all the staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Would recommend
Awesome skiing, great lessons with good instructor, and food was good.
Loved the runs and the great customer service. Lots of friendly people from canada and from across seas. Only complaint is that it is quite easy to get lost on your first day. Better labeling the chairs and runs would make the first day alot easier.
Beautiful place to visit. Although I would easily come again, it is quite crowded all through the seasons
Where do I start? Absolutely unbelievable! Lake Louise is STUNNING and the ski resort is top class - I'm not a great skier but I gave it my all and had a great time - highly recommended !
Early December was a little too early but still had lots of fun
Nice place.. get the gondola ride to get a good view of the lake and glacier and eat at the restaurant
Enjoyable ride where you can choose between the open or the closed gondola. The buffet breakfast was also pretty good.
Beautiful and cold. Lots to explore and the snow had held up great even with out a storm in weeks.
One of my favourite ski hills. We try and get there a few times every season
Gondola is only running for sightseeing. Only 2 chairs open today and pretty cloudy at top. Park is not open yet. Conditions on the runs that are pen are very good
Awesome skiing, varied terrain and weather, great facilities.
One of the top 3 ski resorts in Canada. My kids learned how to ski there 15 years ago and now they are blowing by me on the back side of the platter. There is something for everyone at Lake Louise.
It's ok. I feel like it's over prices for service that they're providing
I haven't been to Lake Louise in the summer for quite a long time. Forgot how pretty it is in the summer! Enjoyed going on the chair lift and doing a bit of hiking. But, will also enjoy skiing again this winter.
All right ski resort for the Rockies. Good scenery, rarely lift lines and protected vs sunshine from wind and above treeline white outs. If your coming for a vacation come later in the year as they're called the Rockies for a reason.
Favourite place to snowboard. Easy access to all the runs and the food in the lodge is so good!
Very nice place. Like in a fairy tale. Nice skiing, love the wood signs for ski slopes name and color.
Probably beautiful ski area - was only here in autumn. Comfortable size, not very demanding.
And this is just the start of the season! I see good things ahead
The skiing is terrific. We love the commitment of the service staff at Lake Louise Ski resort. The beauty of this resort is bigger than life. The Canadian Rockies are so beautiful and so big!
Great food, friendly service, family really enjoyed it
Great spot for beginners and beyond! I taught a friend on the 'sunny side' slope for his first time and it was accessible and great. Up the gondola there are a lot of options for a great day of skiing and snowboarding.
My only negative is that the food at the lodge isn't the greatest. I went for coffee and hot chocolate a few times and every time the hot chocolate was pretty much just water and the coffee was empty and then there was no cream/milk/sugar available (because they were emptied and not refilled).
Best ski hill in Alberta. Challenging hill with lots of mountain to ski, and breathtaking views.
The best resort I've ever been to is the one that Sunshine wins for me as it has more beginner routes. Great place, long season, beautiful views, I highly recommend!
Amazing location, fantastic ski runs, views outstanding, amenities a plenty
Fantastic! Had a great ski day! 70cm of snow in the two days before and a perfectly clear day on the slopes. Chairs were fast and there were not too many people there.
Friendly staff and quite efficient. The hill had fresh snow with tons of options for all skill levels
Hands down best views. Icy and more difficult skiing than sunshine.
I go back to Lake Louise once or twice a year to snowboard and I love the amenities, the gondola, and of course the huge variety of runs.
On this occasion my girlfriend and I went with a group of friends and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
However, I'm writing this review more to showcase the exceptional service and car provided by the Ski Patrol and Ski Friends teams at Lake Louise. My girlfriend had taken a couple bad falls on a new run that we had never been down before and we figured she probably couldn't make it down the rest (we had just left the top of the Paradise lift).
As we had no cell service, a passing Ski Friend kindly alerted the Ski Patrol when he made it down to the next lift and Ski Patroller Bryan B came to the rescue with a sled. (Attached is a picture of the hero himself and her strapped into the sled haha). Bryan was the most accommodating and friendly guy, he was obviously really passionate about skiing and helping people and we can't express how grateful we are to have had his assistance that day, and how lucky Lake Louise is to have him as a patroller.
If you're ever in trouble on the mountain, Bryan is the guy you want by your side.
We'll definitely be back!
Breathtaking scenery. Always Rocky when off to beaten trails.Base repairs as always.
Excellent hill to go play in the snow on. We had pretty epic conditions and as long as you went and played in the trees conditions were great all day
Must see. Ski lift price is fair. Great view and some hiking can be done after the gondola ride or in stead of. Lot less people then at the Lake Louise lodge. The ski lodge is an amazingly beautiful log structure. My picture does not do any justice to the building. Nice outdoor patios for taking in a beer or glass of the wine.
The best ski resort in Alberta! Tons of fun and the runs go on forever, definitely need a few days to get through it all.
Heaven on earth. The skiing is only outdone by the views
