Lot's of interesting terrain to explore, when the snow is good. Front side can get overcrowded and they tend to neglect the rest of the mountain when the World Cup is one

Fast rental lines, quick trips up and great trips down!
I love living 2 hours from here! Arrive early, stay late!!
Probably the best Ski Resort I've been to, when compared to mostly Lake Tahoe, California resorts
It's a great ski hill with lots of different terrain to suit just about everyone
My first experience at lake louise..was a pleasant one. And yes, I'm gonna make ski a sport to love.
Gondola was closed due to freezing rain but it's a great mountain
Great skiing a few weeks ago. Had sushi for lunch Good value and good quality.
Left boot bag in parking lot. Lexi picked up the phone at 7:30 at the lake Louise resort and managed to locate it and put my name on it immediately. Awesome customer service really appreciate what they do for us.
Beautiful, huge timbered lodge and well organized ski rental facility. The hills are well maintained as well.
Best mountain in the Rockies for me, would recommend be there early, it fills up and very busy on weekends.
I would ski weekdays, visit and hike the weekend if I were to go again.
Don't forget to validate your National park pass, even if you stay within the park, you need to renew everyday. I suggest a yearly pass if you're stay is over 5 days. Park Rangers hang around parkings fire fines so... Ski is already$$$ enough.
The button lift is a killer but all the runs are superb
Beautiful resort, tons of skiiable terrain. Lots of choices for any skill level. Back side tends to be more advanced, especially if there's no new snow. Definitely recommend arriving early for best parking choices.
Only knock is that food/drink is on the expensive side - but that's just ski resorts for you.
Fabulous scenery, wonderful runs. The Ski Friends program (no cost!) lets you ski with a guide in a similarly skilled group where they show you the runs that you are likely to enjoy, along with backstories of the area. Our guide was Linda, who was an original Ski Friend when the program started 40 years ago, and she was friendly and very helpful.
still tons of snow are there even in the middle of May.
Huge runs. Nice solid greens and blues. Gnarly blacks. Great park. Amazing views.
can be cold but good fun to visit for couple of days
This isn't a great Ski Resort for beginner snowboarders. Many runs have significant flat spots, and the trails are confusing and poorly marked. We often found ourselves at an unlabeled junction or accidentally ended up on a run too difficult for the less experienced members of our group.
Great variety of runs, amazing views, awesome staff.
Great place to learn, such a well organized resort.
Best resort to ski at in Banff, Alberta. This is a lovely ski resort with plenty of runs and restaurants dotted around the mountain. The lifties are all very friendly and helpful and I particularly loved the runs through the trees.
The people were awesome. The ski patrol people were friendly. The program they had to take people of all levels to experience the mountain was great All round it was a great experience and I would highly recommend visiting winter or summer
A wonderful experience. We were there for summer 2019..kids loved seeing mama bear with her Cubs...option for open chair lift or typical gondola...a great experience overall.....
No other place I'd rather be. some of the best views in the world! Skiings not bad either...
amazing place for my bday! we went there for a week only, really special, we had a great weather for skiing, will be back
Love Lake Louise, and was there for the Woman World Cup downhill. Spent time in the VIP area, and the food and serving staff we awesome
Skied the heck out of LL in mid April. Awesome snow (which was great after dodging rocks in CO this season). Black runs are true blacks, which was a surprise after Sunshine where it seems like they just slap a black marker on anything steeper than a bunny hill. Spent a morning and afternoon with the Ski Friends, who were amazing and indispensable for getting a quick idea of all the fun runs.
My wife, a blue skier, loved it and had plenty of wide groomers to enjoy. We could easily ride a lift, split up onto blacks and blues, and meet up at one of the lifts for more. Cool place.
Best mountain closest to Edmonton.. great place to ski
Had lunch buffet and rode the gondola. Clean buildings and has a nice view of the mountains from the top.
I can't imagine a better ski hill in the world, I'm sure there are mountains somewhere that compare but not in Alberta.
This company offers groupons for tubing on their hill, but they've made them unavailable for use on Valentine's weekend, also known this year as Family Weekend. As in, the weekend that parents and/or young couples, usually broke, go out and do fun things with eachother. As in, they are scraping together their spare cash to have a good time.
Don't tell me you don't make enough. Greee-heeee-heeeeeasy! No one likes a greedy guts, Lake Louise Ski Resort... This isn't the first time I've heard stories about how cheap you can be, and I doubt it will be my last!
Great ski. Excellent service!
Just can't say enough about this resort.
Great runs, good grooming, rarely crowded.
Really great skiing, great coffee, great sushi, what s not to love
This place was beyond 1st class, we couldnt have been more pleased. They run a very great business, and really streamline things in a very nice manner. The ski friends in yellow jackets were so friendly and helpful at the base and tops. Not sure who owns the resort, if its family or an investment group etc, but they surely can be proud of the way employees interact with customers, and the establishment they run. Always great to leave somewhere beyond impressed! We like to change resorts up all the time, and have never come back to the same place, but they may have changed that for my wife and I!
Great alternative to the banff gondola in summer. Get there before 11am and you get a breakfast buffet with eggs bacon and more pretty much free. There is also a free shuttle to lake louise. Check brochure stands for $5 off coupons
We stopped at Lake Louise gondola on the way back to Alberta from Vancouver to end our vacation. The view was beautiful both going up and going down and we even seen a grizzly bear. The reason for not giving a full 5 star rating is because there is not much information about it online and I m pretty sure you needed a parks pass in order to be in the area we were ( we didn t have one ) but we still parked and didn t have any issues.. the second reasoning to a not full 5 star rating is because it s quite expensive for what you get. Beautiful otherwise.
Great ski resort! One of my fav in Alberta. Friendly staff, always have a good time here.
Meh. Underwhelming... Lift tickets are on the expensive side, but there are not that many good runs. It's a small mountain, lots of beginner small runs. There are black and double blacks, but comparing to Revelstoke or Whistler, it's just meh. It was cloudy, so we didn't get to see the view. It also could be the reason why we were not impressed.
One of my favorite places to ski! A great mix of terrain, great snow conditions, and amazing views. On weekends, especially after a big snowfall, make sure to get there earlier to grab a good parking spot and avoid the lines at the gondola.
Staff are very friendly including those outside and inside. Drinks and food are a bit pricey as to be expected while at a resort. I tried the poutine and it was delicious... so much better than i expected. The following day we ate at the japanese restaurant which closes around 3. It is pretty popular so you will want to get in earlier then the bang on 12 with everyone else. Food and wine selection was delicious. Menu is a bit limited.
Went up the chairlift to see grizzly bears but got surprised by sudden snow instead! Great experience :) remember to hike around the stop area to find traces of bears!
Great cable car. There are open and closed cable cars. Of course, you need to take the open haha. It is a bit cold and you need to keep warm. You can buy a ticket with a discounted meal to a restaurant on the mountain. May have raw meat, pay attention when ordering
pretty good except it was such a pain to rescan the lift ticket everytime
Awesome terrain (above treeline, bowls, tree runs, and trails).
Has a wide variety of activities to do in both summer(hiking, sight seeing) and winter(skiing, snow-shoeing, tobogganing, nice views). A bit pricey for a day lift ticket skiing, but great staff and a wide variety of food places
Local hill for me. Great place for family. Also good expert terrain.
Unbelievably great place for skiing. We are here on a Friday and it's not bad for crowds
A boarding resort you can enjoy at all levels and very well set out..
Very pretty in the summer.....although the smoke was bad ( which was obviously no fault of theirs), the resort, restaurants and shuttles were all very good.
Great ski resort, great for intermediate and expert skiers, beginner runs (green)are a little too steep for beginners. Great friendly staff.
Great snow that provided soft powder throughout the resort, near perfect weather before the winter blast arrived. Much better than sitting at home in frigid conditions. Friendly staff made the day fun and memorable.
Lodge space is limited, but there is awesome terrain for all with great views of Lake Louis.
Great resort I had alot of fun and loved all the runs. Prefer lake Louise more compared to other mountains around Banff
