Their services are really slow! How they structure their lines for getting the plus card is silly. No line at guest services where they have full capability to sign people up for the plus card and print them out and I still have to go upstairs to the season pass like where I have to wait 10 minutes to get one. As proof, I'm waiting in line just to write this review. Otherwise, snow is good but that's Nature's doing.

The good thing is that the weather is always one of the best weather when you visit and the resort is very close to highway 1.

The bad thing is that the hill doesn't get fresh snow if it doesn't snow in the weeks before and most of the time I go it's very icy which doesn't ruin most of the experience.

Nice place. Plenty of runs to choose from.

Nice place. Plenty of runs to choose from.
But some runs have longer flat terrain which makes it a little harder for a novice snowboarder like me to get through.

I've been to lake Louise many times and I do enjoy the ski hill when the conditions are good. But they've lost touch with their clientele in the last couple years. Last season we stopped for lunch at the whitehorn which seemed like they were trying to have a high end restaurant on a ski hill with only one burger option, which was very expensive. We went back on Saturday (Dec 9) and the temple restaurant was closed so we went to the front side and the one good looking restaurant was full right fully so because. Why the hell would anyone want sushi when they are skiing?! Yes they have a sushi restaurant. I think I'll be going to Sunshine village from now on, their food never disappoints.

Way too busy and understaffed for the amount of people. Not enough tables, not enough cashier's, very long lines.

We also drove all the way out from Edmonton and got the only to be told that they don't have enough daycare staff and we couldn't even go. And if you call ahead you still just get out on a wait list for days that the staff have space. Why not just how an extra person. Its not like these children are getting watched for free. Way over priced.

Went on a very cold day. First run I ended up getting injured. The ski patrol was very helpful, got me down the hill safely and in good time. Checked me over, they are very thorough. I always enjoy skiing here and of course summer is just as nice.

Best ski resort in Calgary hands down. The hill provides everyone with a great riding experience with no flat spots meaning no pushing. The hill has a good mix of powder and groomed trails however is more groomed overall. The views on a clear day are amazing. Food is great however prices r expensive.

Best resort in Alberta Rockies IMO. I specially recommend the area behind summit platter. I hate the poma lift to get there but the reward is worth it.
They also have a great salad in the main lounge restaurant if you like eating healthy while skiing.

The snow conditions were the best I ve ever seen. The trails are difficult and it s very windy, but I hardly noticed because of how much fun you can have with a safety net of soft cushiony snow. The view is equally as good, so make sure to bring a camera.

Longest runs at a ski resort within an hour from Banff. Since you drive up to the base of the hill you get skiing sooner once you arrive. Quite a few restaurants on the hill and at the base for food or a drink.

Take a ride on the Lake Louise Gondola and see some of the most spectacular mountain scenery and wildlife in the Canadian Rockies. Best place to see black and grizzly bears in the wild. Stunning views and breathtaking nature. Gondola runs from 8 am to 5 pm and the ride takes 15 mins.

duh!

Fantastic for the whole family. Our first time our son was 9 years old & started the day off with a private snowboard lesson. That was a good decision as he was able to have the confidence to tackle the mountain. Loved the gondola ride. Staff are friendly and helpful. Also loved the tube hill at the end of the day when you needed just a bit more time resting your legs and enjoying the hill for a few more thrilling moments.

Always has and always will be my favourite ski resort in Alberta. So much variety of terrain that there are not just runs for ever level of skier but a lot of runs for every level of skier. The on hill food is also great and their lifts keep everyone moving perfectly.

Winter review. Decent size area for skiing. BUSY as hell. Great for powder when it is fresh. Their grooming sucks, so don't bother bringing your all mountain skis. Just rent some wide or powder skis in town... Why? Even when its groomed, there are 2 to 3 " level changes across a face.

Was very crowded on a Saturday. There is a good mix of terrain with plenty of groomed runs on the front side. The back had a good combination of moguls and more technical runs. No real glade skiing as the woods tended to be too thick. Had a great time overall if the Saturday crowds can be avoided.

Also had a checkpoint when leaving on a Tuesday that was checking for seat belts and drunk drivers.

Very nice resort!

Very nice resort!

We went on a very busy day, so there was about a 40 minute wait for the shuttle to even get to the parking lot from the turnoff, but it was so much fun from there!

If you re looking for a true alpine skiing experience then this is the place for you. I visited here recently while on a work ski trip. Had the best experience since it s my first alpine skiing. On a side note this place is best for more experienced skiers than for beginners as terrains here are definitely more challenging. Would be happy to ski here again in the future.

Great place to ski or snowboard unless you're learning, there didn't seem to be any friendly runs for an absolute beginner aside from the one run but then it makes a big jump in difficulty for every other slope

I was deciding between this gondola and the one in Banff. Loved this one; had great views of Lake Louise. Great walking at top of gondola. Rode closed gondola up and open chairlift down. Good interpretive center at top with animal info and docents. Good decision to ride this gondola. Fabulous views from the top. Sadly all facilities including restaurant and toilets were closed at the top, so didn't stay too long. Thought the price could have been reduced because of that.
