Went for spring skiing and it was very nice overall. My one criticism of the hill is it isn't organized very well - likely due to the fact that it's a very old resort. Would recommend the buffet bistro in the lodge. It's definitely worth the money if you are capable of eating a fair share.

A novice review.

Visited here with friends for the weekends to try my hands at snowboard...

First the view was gorgeous...we were completely beginners so we got a lesson from Will aka Billy... He was very helpful and got me from level 0 to 0.2...I still suck....but it was a lot of fun learning how to slow down before I fall lol.

I would definitely go back...

I was not fortunate to see Bangladesh. In a time when a person is financially and mentally prepared for travel, I go to Canada before. But I have been fortunate to go to Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Chittagong, Sylhet and Khulna with the family. But Sajeq, Saint Martin Island, Kuakata Beach, and many beautiful places have not yet been reached.
8 years ago, after passing out as a student in Canada, there was a lot of sightseeing but there were no major tournaments. About a million square kilometers of this country's size is about 67 times bigger than Bangladesh. And going from one place to another is also quite expensive. So the same regret did not want to travel in two countries, so this year, I have been leaving Canada for two weeks with the holiday in Canada. Together with the bonus, two states of America have the desire to visit. What is the plan to kill two birds in one pile? let's see what happen. Planned on July 21, from Toronto on the plane to the city of Calgary, the journey of six-and-a-half hour. After a 4-hour flight due to the 2-hour time difference, Calgary came into the city by 8:30 in the morning. My first destination, for the purpose of Lake Louise, Alberta, is to walk straight by car pick-up car pickup from the airport. When the road reached about 150 kilometers in one and a half, when Lake arrived in Lewis, it was time for lunch. While eating light food, parked cars and parked in front of Lake Lewis, the flight-drive and all the fatigue of the previous night's sleep was lost in a moment. Standing standing, enjoying this beauty and thanking the Creator, I was about 15 kilometers away

Just the best powder skiing day at Lake Louise!! It snowed all day and they received 29cm of fresh powder. Unbelievable conditions (even a bit tough to ski in the morning as the snow was so fresh and thick for an Eastern skiier who rarely sees powder). The mountain has something for everyone. Beautiful wide slopes, moguls for those who want them and fabulous steep gladed areas. I didn't even try the back bowls.... Best part is the slopes don't feel crowded. Lift lines go quickly and lots of fabulous skiing to be done. The grilled cheese sandwich is very tasty for lunch as are the chicken fingers. A little pricey though so you might want to bring your own lunch. I am definitely coming back for some of the best skiing i have enjoyed

This shot is from the parking lot! The views are spectacular! The Bowls on the back side are mind blowing! We did not have optimal ski conditions but the lift ticket is worth it in view alone!

Snowboarding at Lake Louise is great.
Its not cheap but awesome views.
Check weather / snow report before you go - it can be icy. Great Gondola to get up the mountain and great relaxing apres at the powder keg (have the Yorkies )

This place is bliss. Such a variety of terrain and some wicked good snow if ya know where to look. Shout out to Ash W in the repair shop for fixing my broken binding on a pow day!
Oh and at the end of the season they have a fun event. Shake the lake baby

Lake Louise is world class. We've tried at least six other mountains in the US and Canada and always come back. All that Banff has to offer and the organised transport to and from the hill is a definite part of this rating.

There was a person doing the sign ups for the shuttle, Jay L. When we were waiting to sign up he made us wait repeatedly to every other person on the list. Then when calling out for boarding also purposely made us wait until the end after we kept asking to be called for boarding. When we asked to speak to a manager, Ryan Blondia, they told us if we filed a complaint we would be thrown off the shuttle and need to walk back. This is unprofessional behavior of a tourist company and to threaten people without giving them the option of complaining about subpar service is not acceptable of customer friendly behavior.

Awesome skiing, wicked runs, so big you cannot get bored even if you repeat the same runs. Large variety of runs and lifts so feels like no crowd at all times and you can experience a ton of different runs as a novice or experienced skier.

This world famous ski resort gets at least 4 stars. The resort is well maintained with a lot of terrain for all levels of skiers. The only thing that stopped this resort from getting five stars is that it often gets very cold here early and mid winter.

As a European skiier I was told all these great things about lame Louise by friends , but I must confess to not being particularly impressed. it s good but honestly think it s hyped up. The lifts aren t impressive for example. There are a few good and decent sized runs but apparent Number of runs is somewhat inflated as it s most tracks all riding into one another or parallel etc

The hill is nice even though im a novice. The lodge has a nice decor, little too warm by the windows when its mid day. Food was tasty but limited menu as far as cold or light foods go which was what i wanted after overheating myself on the hill.

Nice

They lie about snow reports. I'm sick of beign disappointed with untrue snow reports. I am an avid snowboarder and watch the weather forecasts daily. I plan days during the week to ride when I can. Too many times have I woke p to a 10cm+ snow report only to drive 1.5 hours from Calgary and forfeit potential earnings/days off to arrive to a 1cm or less day.

I get to the mountains 60+ days a season and know when i'm being lied to.

This is bad business and not how a world class resort should treat it's customers and season pass holders.

Fantastic ski hill, has multiple lifts running up the mountain, and runs going down on the front and back face. There is a fantastic quality restaurant partway down the front slope, so you can stop for a drink and a bite during your run. The lodge at the base has great sitting areas, so if you're just playing 'moral support' on a ski trip, it's a great place to chill and read a book. 10/10 would return!

The setup at Louise is great! The whiskey jack lodge has tons of shelving to keep your bags for those that trust it unlocked, which means the eating area stays clear for... eating.

The runs and the mountain itself are fantastic. Lots of steep blacks to choose from, and the setup for the summit platter ensures multiple powder runs and fresh turns throughout the day.

As with all other resorts, food is very expensive.
