A great place for nice local food. It's not cheap, and pretty gentrified, but delicious and stimulating. There's a place to get hydroponically grown lettuce, big donuts, three soup stands, juice stand, cheese stand, you name it. Fabulous place.

What a fun spot to grab a bite and if you re more than visiting some great local produce and more. Loved the maple walnut spread on a plain bagel from Levand and coffee from the coffee shop was delightful featuring some nice locally sourced lavender simple syrup.

If you love indoor markets with a ton of amazing high quality independently owned shops then this is the place to go. Love the little liquor store in it with a great New England local craft beer selection. Great place to eat and shop for gifts. Head in during the winter for hot apple cider and apple cider donuts.

Really great place for a variety of food choices from desserts like chocolate to meals mostly catering to the lunch and dinner crowd. Parking is really cheap if you park in the lot above the market (~$3 for 3 hours).

Alot of yummy stuff. The aroma passing by the coffee, the unique flavors of nuts/ granola, the cheese selection, sweet treats , bagels and the fresh fish in the back!...you can't go wrong in simply checking it out

The weather is fine and all the vendors are outside. Watch your step in the crowds but lots of good deals to be found. Fresh and friendly all in one place. We need more public markets.

The BPM is along the lines of chelsea market in NYC, but I like it better. The vendors take pride in offering a unique experience that blends with the local traditions. Many options are healthy and make you feel good about doing business with them.

This place is very fun to browse and check out! There are so many options for so many things! Though with Haymarket just outside there's no way I would pay the high produce prices inside. I also feel like some vendors are too good to talk to customers. Their loss!

Loved this place. Its a great venue for festivals! We went there for Boston fermentation festival 2019. They have both indoor and outdoor areas. There are plenty of food vendors inside. The facility has drinking water and well kept restrooms. The venue has a nice park opposite to it and plenty of parking nearby.
The only reason I give a 4 instead of a 5 is that some vendors like noodlelab are serving hot food in disposable #6 plastic which is not healthy or eco friendly. They can mandate use of compostable disposables.

I read about this place online and went in there to check out after my work. I am very much disappointed! The vegetables are not at all fresh and there are few spoiled veggies in there. Haven t checked other stalls.

I love that you have so many great shops under a smallish space. And that there are also non-food stores around too! The bees on exhibition were really cool too. There's a bagel store which sell out later in the day, my friend had a salt flaked herb one w butter which was pretty good!

You could eat every meal of the day, from breakfast to dinner, at BPM. I want to keep it simple for this review, so I'm going to recommend some vendors for each meal of the day, and give you some general pros and cons.

Breakfast: Mother Juice, The Popover Lady, Soluna Garden Farms. Mother Juice and Soluna Tea are for people like me, who prefer to skip breakfast in favor of a caloric drink. The "OMG" at Mother Juice is the select juice for everyone who thinks juicing as a health craze is ridiculous and just wants something yummy. Soluna shines with their in house tea blends. The Popover Lady is a stand out for how affordable and delicious their goods are (last time I went it was 3/$9 popovers -- 3 is way more than I can eat!)

Lunch: Noodle Lab & Boston Smoked Fish. When you think Noodle Lab think Chipotle-style ordering meets ramen. Grab a sheet from the side of the wall and start to make your tough calls. Relatively affordable with broths and ingredients that pack a punch. Don't overlook the pork Gyoza! $4 / order and one of the best things they serve. Extra sauce, please! Boston Smoked Fish Co. is hard not to put on every part of this list. Their Bagel and Lox makes a great breakfast or lunch, and while most of their items couldn't serve as dinner alone, it's easy to find a side at BPM. However, it was their affordability that made me decide to mention them for lunch. Entrees are $10, locally sourced, and high quality. My personal favorite are the fish tacos, loaded with cabbage for crunch and a delicious crema. Writing this review is going to make me hungry, isn't it?

Dinner: Beantown Pastrami Company. These sandwiches are expensive, but God are they worth it. Piled high with tons of quality meat on soft, fresh-tasting bread. Be warned -- the horseradish here is the real deal and not to be trifled with.

Skip it vendors: Massachusetts Farm Winery and Growers (I've tried it a few times and they can't seem to recommend a wine I actually like), all of the non-veggie items at the grocers (Stillman's hot sauce is underwhelming), ThePack (BPM is not the right environment to browse or buy dainty jewelry)

Now, back to Boston Public Market in general.

Pros: Variety, long vendor hours that are only expanding (they began opening up at 7 just this summer), everything here is locally sourced, vendors have a lot of knowledge about not only their product but BPM in general, management is constantly trying to make cosmetic and consumer upgrades, right off Haymarket station and very close to Government Center station, right off of public parking (which they validate)

Cons: Loud & busy, expensive, very hard to find staff that works with BPM directly (rather than staff of their vendors), a decent number of similar vendors (multiple people selling cider, bagels, pastries, etc.)

Varied

Brings a spark back to Haymarket all year round.

Stress at the RMV or coming from meeting downtown... Take a breath with unique selections of flavors and "clean" foods.
