Love this place the variety the smell the atmosphere is amazing. I love reds best and honestly it is
What a Jem!!! It is similar to an indoor farmers market/food vendor location. Some eclectic shops too.
Great market with lots of options. If you're a new Yorker, it's like eataly but cheaper.
Great product from all around. Everyone is very friendly
Nice shops little pricey. But worth the extra money
Nice variety, beautiful setting, great for a rainy day
I don't get out here very often, but when I do I love walking around and looking at what each vender has to offer. I got a delicious maple latte called the Vermonter, and my boifriends got a giant popover with strawberry jelly and an everything bagel with chive cream cheese.
We went to a chocolate and coffee tasting in the kitchen held by Goodnow Farms.
A very busy tourist area. Lot of little shops.. great place to Browse.
Great local spot, kept clean and accessible. Great for lunch as there are many options!
Too expensive. Not enough variety. Bad odor at times. I like Red's Best market the best.
Best lobster soup I had in Boston ~ also bagels are great!
Good place with delicious food. Not so crowded and popular.
Had lots of stuff, very entertaining, and a nice location
An amazing market. Sure it can be expensive, but there's a great variety. Everything I've tried has been excellent.
Since one day could eat for a variety of dishes and had still not eaten anything. Super place to eat and shop.
Some really neat and creative food here. Make sure you check it out!
Be aware that many shops start closing up 45 minutes prior to the official close.
Interesting place for local food enterprises, it deserves more patronage. The Kitchen, directly adjacent run by the Trustees of Reservations, has ongoing demonstrations and some great events to keep up with and to check out.
Lot of nice food stalls from local sellers. They also have a great cooking classes in a state of the art kitchen. Learned how to make pasta.
Not too big and has a lot of healthy options in one place. Highly recommended.
So much choice of amazing quality food, the bagels were fantastic but the doughnuts from union Square were really special.
A tourist trap to be sure, but a very wide selection for a trap.
The people are very nice, and the food is very delicious and healthy!!
Local very good clean !! I liked everything, but have to wait to eat place !! It is very people !! In general I recommend
Good place to take a look at local businesses, selling anything from handcrafts to food. Worth a walkthrough.
Boston Public Market is beyond amazing!! Always easy coming and hard leaving. NO PLASTIC BAGS HERE ITS ALL PAPER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT even paper straws! I bring a reusable bag because it has handles to hold all my paper bags.
PROS: Indoor-Limitless choices-Plenty of seating-Lots of exits and entrances-Environmentally friendly with a fresh produce Market in the back!
CONS: Pushy sellers-Too many people-High Prices(Cookies sell for $3.50+ so with that being said the price range is $$ because well it is near the financial District)
"Public year-round indoor market offering fresh, locally sourced food from nearly 40 New England farmers, fishers, and food entrepreneurs!"
A rare site for a boy from the mountains. Was able to walk through and smell all the variety from the stores just for a short visit. A pleasant stop if your walking through.
This is a wonderful showcase for local produce and related products. Clean, well-maintained. We were particularly struck by the fact that the vendors were so enthusiastic about the place. Very well worth a visit.
Always a pleasure visiting and shopping. A diverse crowd of shoppers.
A bright and clean food market! Pricing on items could be better.
Boston public market is filled with lots of yummy food options. I love a good bagel from Levend Bagelry!
This place is full of delicious stuff from local sources. The food is a bit on the expensive side but it's fantastic so it's well worth it. It's got a great atmosphere to hang out and grab something tasty. I wish I could go there every day. I had pastrami from the pastrami place, a hot chocolate from the chocolate bar, and a clam chowder from the seafood place.
If I could live in this place I would.... best food and produce in town! Was so happy I stumbled across this place
They have a lot of awesome food options but wait times can vary based on what you want.
You can get amazing stuff here, but it will cost you. It's a fun place to explore. Levend Bagelry is especially recommended.
I loved walking around seeing all of the different products and vendors. I had a delicious bagel from Levend Bagels and a great churro with chocolate from Taza. It's a nice, quiet place to stop and escape the bustle of the city. And it's very close to the North End, which you cannot miss.
Boston Public Market is wonderful to browse and take in as an experience. They sometimes have events there (like Sundaes on Saturday) and the location is nice, so there are green places nearby to eat the food you get here. Just know that because everything here is fresh and fancy, it is quite pricey.
This is a nice place to grab a meal and try some great local products. It can get a little expensive, but everything I sampled was wonderful. The staff at every booth I went to was very friendly and knowledgable about their products.
This is a good place to go if you want to try something different from the normal food places in Boston. They have a lot of options and the food is good.
This market is still a market! You can get great vegetables. Seafood, meats, and baked goods as well, plus yuppie chow! Easy options for gluten free, vegan, and wheelchair folks make it great!
Great selection of high quality foods. Much better than the ribbish st nearby Quincy
Donuts, produce, soap, bagels. Whatever you want to purchase you'll find here. Also a great spot in the city for lunch. Faneuil Hall for millennials
Nice place to find local food and drinks and they have cooking events. Bon Me, Taza and Union square donuts are my personal favorites.
This place always has tons of action happening. Smells delicious every time. Come for the food! You will have a hard time figuring out what to order. Don't really enjoy the doors being locked, but just a minor inconvenience.
Great groceries for shopping. All very organic, which is good. Lots of choices. Fish, meat, vegetables, fruit. Etc.
Local vendors, good quality and lower prices compared to the nearby hall/market
I love this place, you can find different kinds of food
This could be an awful tourist trap but it isn't!
A nice upmarket place, it has various shops. Most importantly public bathroom is available too.
Unique food / drink options. Not a lot of space to sit.
The Chelsea Market of Boston. Great stop, with an excellent variety of options, from cider to bagels to candied nuts to meat to fresh soups. If you are in the area, you should absolutely stop in.
Such a fun place to try different foods! They had a lot of local places. The mini cider donuts were yummy. Will be back for lunch later this week. Excited to try the ramen.
Update: the ramen was underwhelming but the pumpkin macaroon was bomb.
Lots of food options inside and all the vendors are super nice.
It's crazy packed, but fun with amazingly fresh produce for great prices. And after saving on produce, treat yourself to a fresh donut or bagels inside.
I love going to the BPM. There's always some be locally grown deliciousness to discover.
Expensive but quality foods and goods. I find myself browsing more than buying. The market outside has way better prices :)
I WAS AT GEORGE HOWELL COFFEE MET EVER AND JONATHON MADE A CAPPUCCINO TWICE FOR ME THAT RIVAL THE NEWTON STORE SUCH GREAT CRAFT TASTE FLAVOR, THIS ENTIRE MARKET ON FRI,SAT,SUN, IS THE BEST AROUND FOR FRUITS AND VEGGIES GREAT STANDS INSIDE STILLMANS HAS THE FARMER AND HIS WIFE WORKING THERE GO SEE THIS PLACE A GREAT TAKE VALIDATED PARKING COST 1 TO 3 DOLLARS UP TO THREE HOURS GO THERE
Hands down had the freshest most inviting environment in Boston. If you're near Quincy hall. I highly recommend going over one city block and checking out the public market. Had one of the best lobster rolls ever while visiting there.
If you need a cheap park in the city centre you can go here. Inside you will find many local producers of vegetables, honey, ice cream etc.
Great place with many different store of your liking to choose.
I wish I found this a Long time ago! Many of the same vendors found at the local farmer's markets, which is great if you make the rounds. Year round, which is also a plus.
