The person at the front door was very polite and guided is, the service was amazing. The hotel is beautiful and very clean with lots of gorgeous details. The washroom were also very clean and well kept. Over all very pleased with my visit!
Built in 1903, this is Toronto's first luxury hotel. Throughout the years, has been a favourite hotel for celebrities, sports stars, politicians, and royalty. It's a gorgeous historical building in the heart of "Old Toronto". Steps away from the King Street subway station. A 15 minute walk from Union Station where you can catch the UP Express train to the airport. And best of all, a 5 minute walk to St. Lawrence Market, named by National Geographic as being one of the best food markets in the world in 2012. I was here for the Sunday brunch. What an amazing spread - with fantastic service.
Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a king suite and were Royal club members. The lounge was relaxing and the o'dourves and alcoholic drinks were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the newspaper at our hotel door and the breakfast. I recommend upgrading if you are able for a luxury experience
The King Eddie is absolutely beautiful, and you can immediately tell that great care has been taken in restoring and updating it. The lobby is "grand" and impressive, and the rooms are modern and well appointed. Staff are friendly, if slightly disorganized; my only complaint was that I'd forgotten something in my room, confirmed via phone that they had it, and then it took three separate visits back there before they could come up with it.

Nice stay...great beds,rooms & service. Wonderful lobby to lounge. Great proximity to food if you walk 5--10 min. The King street side can be noisy but loved sitting on the sill and watching the city from above

We absolutely loved this hotel! Every employee we came across was king, helpful, and always smiling! The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved that there was a shower room with a sink and a toilet room with a sink. It was perfect for all 4 of us to get ready each morning and night. The walk to the tower was about 5-10 minutes so it wasn t bad at all. If you need to rent a car for the day. Talk to the concierge. They can set up everything for you.
Meeting room last week was extremely cold. Staff were all friendly.
Came here for afternoon tea on Saturday. The hotel is stunning, the tea service was great and the dining area was not crowded. We tried the "Traditional Experience" in honour of Canada's 150. All of the food was delicious, and the servers explained each food item thoroughly. The chocolate truffle tea was divine and the peaches and cream tea was fantastic. All in all, it was a lovely experience! would definitely recommend this afternoon tea service over many others in the city. Stayed here the night after our wedding and was blown away by how well the staff treated us and truly made our stay unforgettable. We truly will be loyal Omni guests in the future because of this. A recommended place to stay. There may be newer hotels in the city, but the mix of history, comfort and hospitality is perfect.

Everything was excellent. The room was nice, the service was friendly, and the food was great. It would've been nice if the rooms came with more than just whitener for the coffee considering how crazy expensive the hotel is. The Kurieg machine didn't seem to match the overall classiness of the hotel. But that's a small complaint considering our excellent stay.
Second time staying at the King Edward. Brilliant time again, this time we brought our puppy along for a fee of $50 for the whole stay. We requested a bathtub at booking but were warned it might not be possible as there are limited rooms/suites with tubs. Well, our deluxe king suite had a beautiful clawfoot soaker tub and the most amazing shower with three heads. We did have to trade a view of the city for the tub but was a small price to pay. We were looking forward to hiding away for our two night stay so the view really didn't bother us. Only complaint, and minor at that, is the breakfast room service arrived less than hot both days. Still warm and delicious, but not piping hot from the kitchen. Overall, a fantastic stay and wouldn't hestitate to return.
Omni King Edward hosted our wedding a week ago and I can t sing high enough praise. The experience from start to finish was top notch. The catering manager helped us immensely from the very beginning of booking to the big day. The food was delicious - our guests are still talking about it. Everyone was professional, and kind, and really looked after us and our families on the days leading up to the wedding and the day of to ensure everything went smoothly. Venue is gorgeous. Rooms are clean. We ordered room service to the suites and everyone who we interacted with was so nice. Even checking-out post-wedding staff helped us with flowers, with bags - and with moving our 60lbs cake. I can t imagine having a nicer wedding spot anywhere else in Toronto. 10/10 would recommend!
I had a meeting in the lobby. This is one of the eloquent lobbies in Toronto. It was special prior to the renovations and the design has kept the integrity. I've stayed several times overnight and each time my experience was excellent. by
The service we received was outstanding. Every single interaction with staff was pleasant and friendly. From the doorman who was memorable, to the cleaners we approached at 3-4am, everyone was accommodating.

I loved the recent improvement in the king Eddie hotel. The ballroom is spectacular and the room had a great design with white and touches of red. Beautiful setting for a wedding.

Very spacious and clean. The staff was quite helpful. I was there for a conference and the staff was very quick to adjust the room to meet our needs. The catering was delicious and nutritious. The in-house cooked potato chips for afternoon break would not be called nutritious but were very tasty.
Lovely reception and service. Main entrance is under construction and it's not very welcoming where you enter.
Very nice hotel, but like any older hotel the rooms are not oversized, but maybe that is a good thing since many hotels are moving in this direction. You are just sleeping there, aren't you?
Location is conveniently located in downtown core. Atmosphere is very nicr, feels like a very upscale place. Garrison bespoke has a store here.
We stayed at the Omni King Edward Hotel for my birthday on December 22. The hotel was very well kept and staff were very helpful. We stayed on the 11th floor and had access to a private lounge. Breakfast offered many options and was enjoyable. Happy hour included free drinks and snacks the previous night. I would definitely recommend this hotel

For the price paid definitely not worth the stay. The room upon arrive was dirty with pee stains down the wall, go to have a shower and the entire wall of the shower is covered in someones long black hair. Clearly just a wipe was done with the previous check out.
There was also a blood stain on the side of the bed, noticeable upon walking in the room. Do not reccomend, if you want a nice stay away from home and want to spend a little extra for luxury this is not the hotel to choose.

Came for brunch. It was very good. I preferred the original room which I found more grand. But the food was excellent. The selection was very good. No compromises on quality. For its cost I think it's a good value. Though the brunch market is very competitive, you are coming here not for just the food. I make a trip once in a while.

Everything about my stay was amazing. Front desk service was always respectful and helped us with everything we needed. Housekeeping was polite and did a great job! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I ve ever slept on. I have no complaints about the Omni King Edward Hotel!
The lobby was beautiful and grand. I had the Royal Wedding High Tea there for a bridal party. The service was great. Tea, sandwiches and scones were delicious.

We went for a birthday celebration and it was a cornucopia of food of the highest quality. The service was good the the violinist was amazing. If you have never been treat yourself to a true feast.

We were stunned by the beauty and elegance of the hotel lobby and the friendly greeting from the staff there. We were upgraded to an amazing deluxe suite and when we arrived to our room it was even better than our expectations! From start to finish, our expectations were met and exceeded in every part of our stay.
