Beautiful hotel, gorgeous property with excellent service

I cannot say enough nice things about this resort and the people who work there. Almost everything was fantastic. The only negative thing was the comfort of the beds. They were a little to hard for our taste. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Palmetto bluff is a rare jewel. I can easily recommend this as a must visit. I could have spent 3 times as much time here and still had more to do. Beautiful hotel, great pool, good restaurants, stunning natural beauty.

Thanks for letting guests know they cannot access certain parts of the hotel because Justin Bieber says so. Will never stay here again and this is not the name that I used to stay in your hotel.

5star service! From check in Greg was very helpful and guided us which way to go, love his accent so charming. All of our bags were sent to the room while we grab drinks at that bar. Lisa was fun and funny, really enjoyed the happy hour music. I spilled something on my top and Rachael was sweet enough to unlock the door and let me borrow her tide pen, life saver! My only complaint is I couldn t stay longer. One night was not enough! I will be back very soon.

This is a thin slice of heaven on Earth! You will be blown away with the attention to detail, Southern hospitality and pure beauty.

Beautiful place, and beautiful facilities. The service and cleanliness is not so good, a wasp nest under an ottoman in our terrace that we reported and they never came to remove it. We ask for a roller bed never was delivered. The third time we asked for it they say the ran out of them and gave us an additional room (not a bad solution!).
Octagon bar and gathering there was a massive roach they didn t rid of it after reported.

I have stayed there twice now. The grounds and rooms have been in excellent condition. The staff have been quick to assist you and very polite. The shops and restaurants are worth visiting.

Facility was picturesque and general staff was extremely accommodating however the front desk was terrible. Forgot to notify us room was ready, actually forgot to setup a wake up call and just didn't meet the standards you would expect from a Montage Resort

Every employee was so amazingly friendly. Housekeepers would talk and make u lauch and valet guys were super helpful. Tons of employees offering a golf cart ride at any time.

Very quaint place, and the the grounds are beautiful. The service is subpar and not the quality of other 5-star hotels and resorts such as the Ritz and the Umstead. Some of the employees are very friendly and others act as if they are going through the motions, with no care or sense of urgency. I will say, we received excellent, 5-star customer service from one of the resort Directors after voicing a couple of our frustrations. The Director took the time to seek us out personally to listen to our experiences/frustrations and actively worked to make our experience better. Overall, we had a good time but the experience didn't exceed our expectations as would be expected from a 5-star resort.

Very bad management and mosquito infested. My package was delivered but the resort lost my package. There was a beehive under our cottage. Very limited food menu and dated pools.

The entire property was amazing. The pristine grounds are cared for so well. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. S'mores are a most! I wish we would have done them both nights. Biking to the tree house in Moreland was a ton of fun. The shuttle was very convenient along with the golf carts around the property. We had a special weekend and look forward to going back to visit.
Staff- I apologize for leaving anyone off because everyone we spoke to was incredible and truly made our stay memorable! Laura reached out to me in advance and was SO helpful with planning our visit in advance. I wish we were able to meet her while we were there. She was also secretly working with my boyfriend (now fiance) to plan the proposal and the perfect evening. Carol at the concierge desk was very helpful from restaurant menus on property, bike trails, and shop info to planning our day trip to Savannah (parking, restaurants, and shops). Felicia at Octagon was an amazing waitress and made our dinner very enjoyable. I could go on and on about the staff at the Inn and around the property. I wish I remember all of their names.

Amazing place, we stayed in a lakeside cottage, nice and spacious. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway. We did a road trip from the big apple.

The views are breathtaking, there are 2 cycles with each cottage to ride around.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay! The rooms were well appointed, and the bed was superb. I love the big southern style covered porches with ceiling fans. Every morning I went downstairs for the best cup of coffee and then walked the grounds and smelled the fresh air. It was heaven! I took a yoga class and then headed to the Spa where I got the best facial in the world. I have never been so relaxed. This is a great place to make memories with family and friends. The food did not disappoint. I have shared some photos.

Elegant and comfortable Inn with luxe amenities. Large spaces for dining. Property is great for outdoors activities, especially biking and jogging. A few shops and cafe/eateries on site. Formal dining can get pricey.

It s an enthusiastic 5 star rating. This place is luxury amazing. It s huge. It s a massive like 10 square mile property with a hotel as well as private homes. So much space to explore. Being there, you never feel like you re intruding, the staff is thoughtful as are the amenities and when they re offered. If u can afford to stay here... do it. You will not be disappointed.

5 Stars are not enough. Great food, spa, rooms, river view, pools and people. Conservation is a top priority and we all enjoyed!

This is hands down the best resort I have ever stayed in. The service is second to none. The rooms are made and cleaned perfectly. The property is gorgeous, rode bikes around Moreland. The on-site food options were delicious. I would recommend.

Wonderful ambience. We had delicious drinks at the bar prior to dinner. We loved the ambience and the excellent service. We ate dinner at jessamine. Delicious food. The service is TOP NOTCH.

Wonderful spa. Great massage. Fantastic service and facility. Prices are high but you do get what you pay for.

Beautiful place and pet friendly. Lots of trails to walk your dog.
