Wonderful place with an amazing range of quality goods from clothes(country, wool etc. Carrying all the famous brands.) to house items and a food hall that kind of rival Harrods, OK not as big but still! The wool clothes hall is worth spending time. Very competent and very friendly staff, just a pleasure to shop there. Restaurant is amazing as well with high quality dishes, scones, sandwiches etc.

Very expensive but you are very well treated by the staff. Very clean throughout. Only one wee criticism, I'm not a small man & the cloth sizes over XXL are none existant. so your loosing sales

I have been shopping here for many years, making a 140 mile round trip, unfortunately there has been a steady decline in customer service and the quality of their products. Staff are unpleasantly rude, although I am not a snob, they seem to forget that they are shop assistants.
I would suggest a well known country wear shop in Fife which has far better clothing and shoes, oh, and the staff are polite.
Whilst waiting to pay for our food in the cafeteria (not a restaurant I hasten to add), a manager, I take it, spoke to a girl working at the food counter and asked if she had cleaned the toilets yet. A number of people in the queue thought the same as I did, there is a time and a place, and this was not it. (Given the state of the toilets and the smell, clearly she had not). A stop on the A9 for the non-discerning tourist I'm afraid, nothing more.

Whoever comes here is lost ... in a positive sense. The heart beats faster here because there is a lot to discover.
There is a huge assortment of fine items, from groceries to liquor to clothing and more. Here you can buy many special things, including great souvenirs

Received a hamper, beautiful contents and presentation etc but no note of who it was from. Called them and explained that no mention of sender and rather snobby woman was totally unhelpful, said she would TRY and find out but didn't seem More

Very expensive. Very limited disabled access my father in law who's in a wheelchair had to get the service lift to get down to the restaurant and shop layouts not wheelchair friendly. Won't be returning.

It looks like a haunt for the wealthy but many bargains lurk within. Search through the many different shopping areas and head for the food hall. Visit mid week to take advantage of the tasters on offer. Search out the bargains, spend wisely. Great way to spend an hour

Chaos.....car parking was not organised for volume arriving, 2 men trying to control 100s of cars. Restaurant was a free for all, no-one directing customers, bumping of trays with hot soup, people barging in to try and pay - shocking example not prepared at all. Very disappointing

Wonderful. Great quality clothing and merchandise. Terrific food shopping and good restaurant although tills are badly positioned which isn't clever when people have trays of food and drink

Really huge selection of high quality goods and foodstuffs but not for the fainthearted. Make sure your cards have plenty of space because you might spend a small fortune. Also has a fair amount of goods available in the high street but more expensive. Geared to the non-uk tourist methinks.

Excellent shopping venue, the location reminds me of how Outlets are built in the US (Woodbury Commons) but the experience is more of department store that is spread out across a couple of buildings.
I was impressed by the variety of goods but really disappointed in the lack of Made-in-Scotland goods. Many of the cloths are made in other countries and even the prepackaged cheeses are mostly British.
The service was good in some departments and shabby in others.
This place can be a hub for tourist busses.

Beautiful location, wonderful shopping experience - the food hall itself could take you a few hours to take in everything that's there. Predominantly stocks high end and premium produce with very knowledgeable staff to help. The new Bakery Cafe is fantastic, really friendly staff and the produce is varied and very accommodating to Vegan and Gluten free diets. Coffee is lovely!

Thoroughly recommend a visit, don't be intimidated by its premium label - It's a great stop off.

One of the staff was extremely rude to my wife, she had taken a picture of a display to send to me, fair enough if your not aloud to take picture, but there is a right and wrong way to handle this, there loss as we where Xmas shopping and had intended to do the lot there

Great place to stop on the way north or south. Good selection of things for sale with an excellent food hall. Can be pricy but it is a unique location. Don't miss the walk to the falls. Something for everyone and even a chip shop.

Lots to browse at (and maybe buy). Something for everyone; young or mature; on a tight budget or money no object. The restaurant caters for coffee a and cake or a meal; the salad bar is well worth checking out. Afterwards you can take a leisurely stroll behind the store, for a scenic woodland walk that includes some stunning waterfalls.

Popped in on our return journey home from a weekend stay in Speyside.
It was a Tuesday but it was still very busy. We spent a good 40 - 45 mins walking around perusing the goods, especially the food hall.
However, there was no doubt that although the range of goods was amazing, the prices were higher than we were willing to pay.

Overall, it was a nice experience but be prepared to dig deep if making a purchase or having a bite to eat.

If you're travelling in this part of Scotland DO NOT MISS the House of Bruar. Here you can buy the finest of Scottish clothes, knitware, kilts and tweeds. There's an excellent restaurant on site (try the Aberdeen Angus steak pie).
The shop sells everything from Scottish heather honey to Aberdeen Angus and deer steaks.
Is there a catch ? Well it's a bit pricey but there are things here you can only dream about so you have to pay.
How do I rate it ? 10 out of 10 and I never miss it when passing, make a point of stopping there, its on the main A9 road to/from Inverness. Don't miss it !

Bit disappointed since I last was there ladies department has gone smaller. Yes it was 2pm but food looked dreadful overheated and unappetizing. Went to chip shop instead. Superb fish thankyou.
