Wonderful stay!! We are always consistently pleased with the service and cleanliness of the Tremont Hotel..our choice for Galveston!

Was a very nice hotel and a historical place well taken care of, very courteous hotel staff, very knowledgeable of the buildings history, superb bar sections....both ...on the roof and the lobby....I would highly recommend this place

Very nice hotel, free shuttle pick up from cruise ship terminal, free luggage holding before and after stay. Sadly very slow WiFi.

Great time at Tremont House! Galveston is a charming town and the staff at Tremont House work hard to take care of their guests.

This a quaint well kept vintage hotel right by the strand. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I was there on a non holiday summer weekend. They had a Jazz Trio in the lounge atrium on the first floor where the bar served your regular bar drinks and featured local craft beer. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the atrium for visiting or relaxing in an upscale casual environment. Everything on the Strand is walking distance.

This hotel has gone downhill since disassociating with Starwood. Small older rooms and now not as clean. And they have the gall to charge an amenity fee ... for really a no amenity hotel. This hotel is outdated, small, not as clean as it should be, skimps on towels in the room. Most of the rooms' views are to the backs of other buildings. Poor ventilation system and lighting in room is inadequate. This will be my last stay here.

Our visit started off terribly. We just came in to have some drinks on the rooftop bar. The bartender and the waiting staff was terribly unfriendly and we had to wait over 20 minutes before anybody actually asked us if we wanted to order anything. We decided to just go downstairs to the bar instead. The staff downstairs was amazing! The bartenders had our drink orders done quickly and they were super fun to talk to. We've been here many times and this was honestly the first time I've ever had a bad experience. I'm just glad that some of the staff was able to rectify a bad situation

Loved staying here after a long 10 hr drive. Very comfortable, and the valet men were so nice and attentive. Would definately stay here again. And it's a great walking distance from the Strand.

Excellent place to stay. Very convenient to the strip and many restaurants nearby.

Beautiful place and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay overall. The big, frustrating issue that prevents a 5-star rating was the noise from the bar downstairs. Due to the hotel's layout, the noise carried up to our room on the 4th floor. I struggled with falling asleep until after their bar closed at 1 am.

The hotel is beautiful and pet friendly. We loved the rooftop bar and the pool at their sister location, Hotel Galvez.

The outsourced room booking service is terrible. They make you pay up-front and if something comes up and you can't go, tough-luck!

Danny Seibert is a wonderful guy who made my experience the greatest! He knows his stuff and will take care of you the best way he can!

The lobby was absolutely stunning. It was under construction so a little messy but they kept it up nicely. The staff was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and efficient.

Beautiful, classic hotel in the heart of the Old Strand area. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Service is their function and they know it. The cocktails in the lobby bar are topnotch. We sat and listened to a jazz trio tonight. We had a most relaxing and pleasant time.

Everything was amazing. The rooms were beautiful, staff went above and beyond, and the beds were comfortable. We got in late and it was almost time to close the restaurant and they graciously made us some supper. We loved it!

This is a beautiful hotel. Right in the middle of everything in Galveston near "The Strand" and cruise line terminals. Obviously on the harbor side of the island. Modern and Luxurious. Staff is first class. Also partnered with Hotel Galvez for access to the spa :) Definitely need to stay here. Check their web site for all to see and do while here.

We always stay at The Tremont House during the Dickens on the Strand festival. Live music in the lobby all weekend plus Wyndham hospitality.

Went for the rooftop bar, provides a fabulous view of the surrounding area and a good selection of drinks. Seating was plentiful and furniture tasteful.

Tremont cafe is a small and quiet place to sit down and eat. Prices are moderate but all the food I have had there was pretty tasty.

Very nice place!!! Kinda pricey but it is on The Strand so what do ppl expect.

Stayed here three nights for a conference. The rooftop bar is great, but they don't have a great beer selection. The hotel room was very nice.

I went to the tremont for my nephews wedding. From what I was told they did a fantastic job providing a discount for all the weddings guests. The only trouble I had was with the honestly terrible blankets and pillows. The pillows were far to stiff for my liking(I mean really hard. I usually like stiffer pillows) and the blankets were increadibly heavy.

The staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean loved everything about my stay at the Tremont House can t wait to visit again

The rooms where awesome and the price was great. Got two adjoined rooms at a bargain. Clean and elegant. Will visit again for sure.

Incredible hotel. Great value! Parked our car with valet for $18 for the night and were able to leave it for the duration of our cruise at their sister property for no additional charge. Great service, clean and beautifully decorated and restored room.

Great location along the strand with nicely attached hotel and event spaces. Bar in the lobby is a great place for upscale cocktail and maybe catch a game on the TV. Rooftop lounge is a must visit with great views of the island and great cocktails. Rooftop is nice year round.

The hotel itself was very beautiful and historic. Although I m not one for negativity, but for the price, I feel that quality and quantity were just not there for the amount I paid for one nite. It was my wedding nite, and I really wanted elegance. I will not go back.

This was a beautiful hotel with a very nice ambiance. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the location was convenient for the cruise terminal.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for one night before our cruise, it is clean and big! Very nice rooms, clean sheets good TV, very well maintained, excellent customer service! We will definitely stay here again!

The Rooftop Bar is a great place to relax and get some drinks, and have a fantastic view of Galveston. Very classy!

Very good hotel and the service it offers is much better than some hotels here

Clean and stylish rooms with that classic old fashioned style and all the amenities of modern hotels like WiFi and TV. The fitness center is useful, although not a full gym. The food was excellent!

We have stayed at the Tremont several time now & it has been perfect every time. Our last stay was even more special as Natalie went out of her way to surprise us with champagne & strawberries since the room we requested at the last minute was already booked. If we have a choice we will always go to the Tremont. Kudos to Natalie and the staff for superb service & a very clean & affordable home away from home.

We really love this place for a quick getaway from Houston. They have great rates during the week. The reception is always warm. Rooms are large and give a very nostalgic Galveston feel. Bar downstairs and coffee shop meet those needs and near lots of great places to dine. When the day is shutting down, go to the rooftop bar for a view of the bay and city and to really relax.

Nice hotel, will visit again. My only advice is try to avoid the interior rooms - the windows face the inside of the hotel.

I loved everything about this hotel!! Especially the rooftop bar! It was a very busy weekend with weddings but everyone was still very friendly and attentive!!

Stop here every year during the Dickens Festival. Love this hotel. It oozes history.

The hotel stuff is dishonest, disorganised and unhelpful. The management in this hotel seams to be nonexistent. After check out we realised we accidentally left my son's $185 electric toothbrush at the hotel. I called the hotel several times and each time I was transferred to housekeeping dept but housekeeper in charge name Olga wasn't picking up the phone. Finally hours later Olga returned my call and said that the person who clean the room (name Luisa) hasn't turn in or found the toothbrush. Olga was speaking to me with very arrogant tone and she even hung up on me. When I called again I was told by Chris who worked at the front desk that the manager of the cleaning department was on vacation and that the manager of the hotel was not available to speak with me. He also stated that he couldn't help me himself because housekeeping related issues were not part of his responsibility. In my opinion this hotel doesn't deserve 4 star rating, we regret we stayed there and we do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice hotel very close to the cruise ship pier. Nice lobby area and awesome breakfast restaurant. High ceiling rooms that are extremely spacious. Will be back.

I liked that this hotel is super old. Everything was very cool. The bathroom was super trippy with its mirrors. There were some problems with our room. First, the bathtub jets didn't work which was disappointing and there were stains on the couch as well as on our sheets. I did like that it was within walking distance of the strand and the rooftop bar with its delicious root beer float drink was nice. They have some pretty good trail mix too. We were given a discount for the cleanliness of the room and for the bathtub so that helped.

I enjoy most fine dining and drinking establishments. This bar is pretentious and one of the places I choose to skip when I'm in Galveston. There are too many other great options in Galveston to waste time or money here. Look elsewhere for your fun times.

Rooms were small, no fridge in room unless you paid for a rental. Would not be my first choice next time.

Service is great but parking is an issue. They have a shuttle you can take to sister hotels to get to the beach and other attractions quickly. Rooms are great but for this much we expected a minifridge without an xtra charge.

The rooftop bar is quiet with good seating and good drinks.

Located just off the well known strip of Galveston called The Stand. The Tremont is a gorgeous historical hotel, restaurant, and roof top bat. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are perfect We stop in every time me we visit Galveston.

Incredible disappointment. I booked this hotel last night specifically because they have a Tesla charger. I absolutely needed the charger. I explained this to the valet, stressed its importance and gave him $10 extra to make sure it was charged. He said it would be taken care of.

This morning, not charged one bit. I now have to go out of my way and spend several hours charging my car. Just ruined my Saturday.

Reviewing Tremont House Rooftop Bar.
I love this place. I last went here right before the Covid pandemic. LOVE the views from this location. Perfect place to enjoy adult beverages while waiting on the sunset. The drinks are great, awesome atmosphere, and great views of downtown Galveston

Everyone was very attentive, great valet, fast check in and check out.
The breakfast was delicious.
A bar on the rooftop beautiful and elegant.
There's a gym didn't have time to use it.
Hotel was A+++ everything.
I will return again thank you .

One of the most beautiful hotel stays I've ever had. Perfect! Only thing that scared me was our bedroom light kept randomly turning on through the night. We would shut it off but it would turn on shortly after by itself. Maybe a ornery ghost?

Great rooms, drinks and rooftop bar!!! The valet drove us to the Fisherman's Wharf and pickes us up. Although. The weather was bad, we still had a great time!
