I am having a fence built around my back yard, and my contractor ordered the materials from the HD Pro desk. We were told that delivery was scheduled for two days later (Saturday btw 8am-6pm) I cancelled plans in order to stay home for delivery. 7:30pm, STILL no delivery. I called and was told my delivery was moved to the FOLLOWING week? No reason given. So I called and called, was put on hold, hung up on, and then just rang for an hour. Yes, an hour!

I called again Sunday morning first thing. Was told by a store associate that they couldn t override the systems next available delivery date. But I know that they can, or a manager definitely can. But was told the manager was busy with other customers...like just because I m on the phone I m not a paying customer?? (Mind you we are talking $3700!) so I proceed to drive to the actual store at 8am on a Sunday. I need to speak to the manager (Earnestine) who appears to be the ONLY person able to override a delivery date! Which is crazy. I sat at customer service for over an hour after the manager was paged multiple times.

We are talking about not only my pool not having a safety fence for another week (dangerous) but also my contractor relies on them to be accurate and timely with their deliveries son he can plan his work schedule accordingly. Now he is out of work for a while week! Completely unacceptable.
