They have most of what you're looking for, the staff usually knows what you're talking about and where it is located.

I always seem to be overly dressed whenever I go here.. Just because I wear high heels and makeup doesn't mean I'm not a DYI Diva! Nobody ever asks me why I'm there or if I need help..I build houses, set tile, plumb and dabble in woodworking just to name a few...im disgusted with stereotyping..When did we become so compartmentalized. Guess if I want service I got to act butch.. ... On a brighter note I usually find what I need.
Always has what I need. Plenty of helpful employees around which is a vast improvement over the past.
Great store for the diy person, not to mention all the great deals or sales they have, also military veterans get 10% off.
Has most everything you need for home improvement or projects.
I just ordered an entire kitchen, cabinets, refrigerator, gas cooktop, wall oven, wall microwave ,hood, cabinet pulls and more. Maria Guest from the Eagle Idaho Home Depot was very very knowledgeable and kind. She really cares about my project and she went above and beyond. Home Depot you have a great employee in Maria Guest!
Jose in flooring helped me pick out blinds to furnish my house. AMAZING customer service and very competitive pricing.
My favorite hardware store over Lowe's and other franchised ma & pop stores driven by competative prices, merchandise assortment and friendly service most of the time.
Wonderful, helpful staff! Cashier was very helpful as well! Great stock.
Employees are friendly - I rarely walk through the door without being greeted & am offered help anytime an associate is available and I have a questioning look on my face.
Organization sometimes feels a bit off, I had to visit 3 aisles to get all the parts necessary for my recent lawn irrigation project. Why aren't the poly pipe and barb fittings right next to each other?
Returns are quick and easy. I returned a valve box/cover that I ended up not needing for my sprinkler system and was not questioned or made to feel guilty about the return (as I have felt at some other establishments).
The stock isn't replaced fast enough. I often find empty boxes where accessories and different sizes of components should have another boxful behind it. It is a pain in the a** to have to go accross town looking for something that's out of stock. I may start going to Lowe's even though it takes longer to get there. The HD on Milwaukee has better stock than Eagle but it takes longer and more traffic to get there as well. I know they have so many items that it is difficult to keep up with....well, that's your schtick!!...get more better people and pay them better or something.
Always friendly they treat you like family one of the department managers named Zach he knows what customer service is all about and made sure he could help us with all our questions and finding the right product I needed amazing people
After ordering the same fireclay farmhouse sink 3 times due to it coming broken, I switched to an equally priced hammered stainless steel sink. Not only did Lukenna honor the discount on the new sink but she made sure that I received an additional discount from Homedepot.com for my inconvenience AND called me to follow up and make sure Homedepot.com took good care of me. I have worked with this lovely young lady on a few different returns and I have to say that her Customer Service skills are TOP NOTCH! I have even seen her handle rude demanding customers in a courteous, polite manner. If I had a business, I'd hire her on the spot.
Home Depot....awesome. Quite a few aisles with cases/boxes of christmas deals. I had many of the employees ask me if they could assist me. They were cheerful and seemed sincere in their desire to help. Wandered the aisles just looking at "stuff". An hour of mental health time!
Always a pleasant visit to home depot because of the awesome customer service and never have problems.
Stopped by HD with plumbing issues. The electric dept rep helped us while the plumbing rep was at break. I think his name was Les and he was very helpful. Joe from plumbing then came by and confirmed everything. Both very helpful and friendly.
It's an adult home hobby store. Great for woodworking and do it yourself projects.
The cashier made sure I knew where the item was I happened to be looking for. She actually walked me to it, and asked me if I needed anything else. Excellent experience.
My wife and I recently purchased some Trex decking material from the Home Depot store in Eagle, Idaho. The store did not have the product we wanted in store but they assured they could get what we wanted within 2 weeks. We placed the order and agreed to the price and delivery date. The afternoon of the day the product was to be delivered, we contacted Home Depot and inquired about the delivery. The person we were working with said she would look into the delivery. About 2 hours later, we received a call from her explaining that the material was no longer available. She said she had found us some alternative materials but they were longer boards and would cost more. We felt hoodwinked and in a corner. We went to Home Depot and met with the person we were working with. We negotiated a new price and agreed to a new delivery date. The new delivery date was very important as we had an out of town vacation planned. While we were out of state on our vacation, Home Depot tried to deliver the materials. We had to reject the delivery and once again reschedule the delivery. We finally received the material ordered, one month late and at an increased cost. Home Depot is great at providing materials they stock but they suck at ordering and delivering special materials. I could never ever recommend anyone go through Home Depot if ordering or delivery is desired or required.
I love this Hone Depot. The store itself is like the others, but what makes it special is the people who work there. They are friendly and helpful. It makes the visit even better!
I was going to put this in my survey receipt thing but I waited too long :P still I typed it up so here it goes: Over the first full weekend in April my boyfriend and I set up an account and were in and out of the Home Depot on State St. in Eagle numerous times filling our recently purchased new home. The customer service we experienced over the three days was superb. We d especially like to mention Lauren G, Jacob P, Charlotte, Gary W, and Sarah (garden). Everyone was helpful, the store was very clean, and we re very happy with our purchases. Thanks, and great job team!
They've got just about anything that you'd need for most basic construction jobs. They're located well enough. The access to this particular location is inconvenient with restrictions. But it works.
I really like this Home Depot! It's not hard to find help when you need it and the staff are very friendly.
Often difficult to find help but I will only shop at The Home Depot for projects in the house and around the yard.
Worst place ever. They do not give military discounts.
The help and cashiers are very helpful and friendly. Prices are fair and choice of merchandise is immense.
Who doesn't love this place. They priced matched and offered even extra discount on a snow blower we purchased. Great staff.
It's Home Depot. What's there to say. Hardware and s***
Went looking for very specific light bulbs for a fixture in my mom's laundry room. Couldn't find them but got excellent service from a gentleman working the paint department who got us the bulbs we were seeking! Thank you for the great service!
This location isn't awesome, but tolerable. I come here when I don't want to drive across town to the competition. Location is the reason I use them at all really...
In and out no problem no line to wait in like the nampa location wont ever go there again till it's open for every one
Went in today to get some quarter turn valves for my sink I needed to make sure I was getting the right compression fitting so I asked one guy he took me to this lady in plumbing who was working with another guy on a toilet I told her I needed help when she was finished with him then she finished with him and then proceeds to get on her cell phone like it was important then she completely walked away from me and I never saw her again. Super pissed about that home depot experience I've always had good experiences from there other stores you have all these floor people who pretty much ignore customers who look like they need help and others ask and dont get service sad experience since it's in my backyard of eagle idaho and not a great place to express that kind of response to customers in a rich area.
The people are very friendly and helpful and Home Depot has everything you need and want at a great price.
Poor Customer Service. Called to see if they had a part number in stock at store. Transferred back and forth between customer service and appliances to conclude they do not carry the part in store, but can order through appliance department or online. I decided to order online. This is for a GE 24" stack kit (consists of 2 brackets) to stack washer and dryer. Price $49.99. When at checkout the price jumped to $111.99, as they charge an appliance delivery and install fee of $59.00. Decided I would call back to the store to order through appliance dept. in order to pick the part up in store. Anyone and their mom can install 2 brackets. Well, appliance dept. was busy and said they would call back in a few minutes. A few minutes turned into 45 minutes. I explained to the gal that I needed to order the part to pick up in store. She stated they order items the same way we do. In other words, there was no way around picking it up at the store. She told me to try Lowes or Amazon. I asked to speak to a supervisor, as I was sure there has to be away around this appliance delivery charge for brackets. She stated the supervisor was with someone else and will call back. No call back. LOWES does have the part (EVEN CHEAPER) and FREE store pick up. We may just have to switch our commercial revolving charge card for our company to Lowes. This is not the first time we have had issues with Home Depot and this store.
As a contractor I love Home Depot. Great selection and service.
They usually have what I need but cant ever find anyone to ask
Store and Dept manager need customer service lesson! Found Xmas tree there, but it was the display, but just in a basic stand, not decorated. Couldn t find anyone to ask if it was for sale, so headed to register w/ tag off tree. We explained situation and they said yes we could buy but got on phone to confirm. They contacted someone who indeed confirmed that if it had a tag(check) and if that tag didn t ring up as a display(check) then we could purchase per policy. So we paid for this tree. We went back to get it. Instead of pulling tree from stand, we thought an employee should. Young kid comes and says we can t have that tree. We explain situation, we gets rude and says pick another. We ask for manager, he calls on radio. Manager tells kid, no tree. Despite our request for manager to come over and talk, he refused. Not one time did either kid or manager show empathy, only had attitude of what does it matter and if you don t like to back and get a refund. Wasted almost an hour because everyone was so slow to help in first place. This is horrible customer service attitude, especially when they could have placed another tree in display after someone already took our money and said it s yours . Shop here often as we live very close. Not first time with confused and I knowledge lacking staff.
Would rate them a zero but it's not an option. we tried ordering $13000 worth of materials twice and both orders were cancelled days later with NO explanation as to why. We have plenty of credit limit and the phone support at the 800 number is about as dumb as a box of rocks.
Lynn in appliances is very helpful and gives you extra information that you would not think to ask about. She takes extra time with you. Great experience buying a refrigerator.
Not happy with this store anymore.. Customer service SUCKS Shopping at Lowe's from now on
CHRIS who I think works in the back in lumber is very helpful and willing. Definitely a good worker,ASHLEY IN PAINTING Is very helpful as well. Both went above and beyond x2
I had to get window blinds. The team member helped with 9 different sizes. Kimberly at the check out was very helpful and friendly. Had a great experience at Home Depot.
Shopping for hangers for Christmas lights. An employee helped out and checked only to find they are out of stock. Left to look elsewhere, the same employee ran outside to catch up with us. She found the hangers we were looking for in basket of things to be restocked, she chased after us.
Good job and thanks for what you do.
The most cluttered Home Depot I've ever been to! Went in on a Saturday at 11am, and they had the isles littered with displays and inventory, and workers with ladders trying to move around. This made it chaotic to get around, and with so many people, made for a poor shopping experience.
The employees are great the few that they have. Standing at the customer service desk there was only one employee at 6 PM the phone rang and rang and rang which tells me that management is not training developing these people for future success it only takes five seconds to answer the phone and acknowledge them and put them on hold until you re finished and politely asked them to wait I asked for the manager and they were unable to find them .
DO NOT GET CARPET INSTALLED FROM HOME DEPOT. Worst experience ever! First, they scheduled my install and I hear NOTHING from the subcontractor. I finally call the subcontractor and they say "let me call my install guy and see where he is at." I get a phone call from a different person from the subcontractor saying that the installer is on a job that is taking more time than usual. He makes it sound like he has no idea (since they have booked themselves tightly) when I will be able to get my carpet installed. I call Home Depot and get re-routed 3 times to my local store, who know nothing about my install. They say I need to wait a while and see if the subcontractor gets back to me. They finally do a day or so later and schedule my install for two days after the original install date. Today is the install day. They come to my house and say they didn't know that one of my rooms that needs the new carpet has vinyl/wood flooring. I told them (one of the dozen people I have spoken to in this process) that I had that flooring in one of the rooms and they said they would note that on my install paperwork. DIDN'T HAPPEN! Home Depot calls and charges me $210 additional dollars to remove it. WHAT A JOKE. No communication and lack of professionalism for sure. Lesson learned the hard way. If you need flooring, look for a local professional and skip the garbage from Home Depot!!!!
If you can't find what you're looking for, just ask anyone working. They're friendly and will practically walk you to it. It's never crowded here and there's everything you need.
It's your typical home depot; looks just like all the others. Why I love this one..the staff! They are super friendly. In any department I have been in, I'm asked if I need any assistance at all. When they don't have what I need they work hard to track it down for me. Who ever does the hiring is getting knowledgeable and friendly people that seem to like being there!
We need a few more people working on the floor in there otherwise it's okay.
Im a Lowe s guy. Better prices. Better selection. Better everything really.
Great location, clean, friendly. Lots of associates to help. Great centralized location
Want to give props to the tool rental dept.
Last weekend I needed to move a pretty sizeable piece of furniture, but despite my best measuring, there was ultimately no way I was able to fit it in our SUV. My wife tried to call U-Haul to rent a truck or van, but was on hold for more than a half hour.
I called the Home Depot in Eagle and connected with Joey immediately. He hooked me up with a van. We got the furniture moved ... And best of all, the van rental was less than half what it would have cost through U-Haul.
Joey (in tool rental) was super helpful and was able get me out of a bind quickly and easily. Hope his boss sees this.
It's a home depot. Most are pretty much the same. This one is a bit newer so it's nice.
Clean, well organized, helpful staff. Very nice store overall.
Customer service person who answered phone to direct my call was rude and short with me, however the department she transferred me to was very helpful and friendly.
