Historic Hollywood hotel with a 60s vibe pool bar. The restaurant by the pool has good casual fare. Nice place to stay to be on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's right across from Grumman's Chinese Theater. The hotel always seems to have some event that you will be invited to as a guest. Many famous people from Hollywood have stayed here.

I was really looking forward to seeing and staying at this beautiful hotel but I was staying for three days and thought I had booked a cabana room with either a balcony or a patio what I got was a room overlooking a side street through a filthy window when I complained at the desk saying this was not the room I had booked I was told there was nothing they could do about that but maybe you could get a room food credit I was never contacted again and the credit was never given the hotel seems to be doing it s best to block off it s beautiful rooms from the guess I found that very disappointing. When we asked about reservations at the hotels restaurant we were told to go to OpenTable OpenTable said they had no reservations the restaurant was virtually empty

The staff was very helpful and sweet! You truly feel like royalty staying there and we will be back. It's beautiful and the history of it is outstanding!! Couldn't recommend this hotel more. It's perfect and a great way to vacation. I would live there if I could.

The two complaints I could maybe dig up is that I was told my bill was gonna be in the $900-1,000 range but left with an over $1,300 bill(the stay was worth it) and I was a little confused on why, but it worked itself out and their communication is amazing. Any drinks etc are very expensive, but you get what you pay for!!! So try out there drinks and food at the pool and around the hotel!

Hotel is full of charm and history. Pool and garden area is serene. Had a loft suite which was comfortable, but the nightstand which provides outlets (limited in room) was not plugged in properly to activate outlets. Also pictures were mounted to the wall backwards. Very weird. Ate at both The Barish and 25 degrees and the food was excellent.

Lack of attention to detail. My gf had something special planned for me to have in the room by the time we checked in and they put it in the wrong room. The hotel is advertised to have a hot tub, which it does not. Staff is friendly but for the price paid for this room, it s better for tourists than for anyone looking for a nice staycation. Disappointing.

Wonderful hotel with an amazing history. We were in room #1009, a large suite with a good view. We were diagonally across from Grauman's Chinese Theater and could literally see the cement squares where the famous left their marks, as well as the stars in the sidewalks. Also visible from our room was the Griffith Observatory up on the hill, as well as the famous Hollywood sign when looking up to the left. . . There was a billing error that was promptly taken care of upon checkout. Helpful employees and so much history in this hotel that it definitely worth a visit.

Great lounges and diner inside. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and staff is exceptionally courteous. Bathrooms (in several rooms we had) were tiny and very awkward. Showerheads are awful. A nice fitness center and lovely pool deck. VERY important note: you must request a coffee setup for your room. If you don't get one, you'll have to wait for room service to open at 7.

The room was decent. The bed was comfy. Small room for the price but I guess you're paying for the location. Huge issue with "private events" loud music into the night. But the worst of it was one of the elevators was down and they closed off the stairwell so the entire hotel was sharing one exceptionally slow elevator that was usually packed when the door opened. Getting to our room was an exercise in frustration and could take up to an hour. Hard to get a meal later given the early closing times due to the BS excuse of "Due to COVid". Parking was far from optimal but I guess it's Hollywood.

Place is OK. The hotel grounds are very nice (especially the pool area). Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean which is awesome. However, there are no coffee pots in the room and the food is very expensive for what it is. However, everyone who worked there was super nice and attentive. The surrounding area is definitely sketchy but the hotel is solid.

Overall cool vibes at the hotel. I had a cabana room that was cool with a balcony overlooking the pool. Nice pool area and surrounding lounge areas where you can sit and order food. Food taste was mediocre at best.... Didn't appreciate the stain on my bed comforter or my food order that was messed up even though I paid for extras. When I called the front desk to confront the issue I didn't get a follow up call. Too expensive not to give a top notch 5 star stay all around. Probably won't stay again. A tad overrated. Staff at check in was pleasant including valet staff.
