I would say working for nurse network has been an interesting experience, But if I will have to work for an agency again it deftly wouldn't be this one. If you work for nurse network when your are working their client's facilities you are not covered under workman's comp if you get injured, Also if you work overtime you don't get paid time and a 1/2. But the hours are there.

This agency is run by females who does the scheduling, they are rude, obnoxious unprofessional set of women to work with. If you can't take a shift they hang up the phone on you and spitefully don't call you for 2 weeks or more. Lidia and Ashley are the two most unprofessional person to deal with. I am going to report this agency to the BBB and Labor Board. Avoid this agency at all cost.

WARNING ... check your pay stub carefully every we...

WARNING ... check your pay stub carefully every week ... [always mistakes in the negative]. They withhold your pay; 1-2 weeks [make up lame excuses, e.g. lost in the mail"] ... They refuse to set up direct-deposit [making it so inconvenient; that nurses have to pick up their pay check in person, else wait 2 weeks to get it via mail]...

We all need to work, but the 'last straw' with me was when they actually refused to mail my check, stating "since there is something wrong with the U.S. Postal Service [my check 2 weeks LATE ... AGAIN!!!] ... they informed me, "you're going to have to pick up your check every Thursday just like the rest of the nurses do! .

Hhmmm... all the rest of my bills find their way to me somehow? but not my pay check from Nurse Network... Unbelievable, childish passive aggressive games they play. I complained honestly & openly about their boss's unfriendly employee & unethical business practices.

I've spoken to many other Nurse Network nurses & they all say the same thing; their paystubs are always short & they're frequently late.

I was berated in person by him; told my accusations of him were "unkind"... UNKIND? ... If your paycheck was off &/or late every week ... would your getting upset about it be considered unkind? ...

Showing such disregard for the value of our time that they force us to drive to the office if we want to get paid on time ... These are the same nurses working so hard to make the big boss & his scheduler 'in-chief' wealthier .... AND he can't even set up direct deposit for us? I called Thomaston Bank, who informed me it was easy, NBD to set it up.

The day I quit, was the same day they refused to put my check in the U.S. mail "because it always gets lost" ... and forced me to drive to the office. That day they outright denied their intention to ever set up direct-deposit [when I told them Thomaston Bank said it was easy]. Finally, being honest about not valuing either our time, nor our financial needs, for the first time told me ... "it's not that they can t do direct deposit"... "we just choose not to" ... [ I was then corrected for having ever believed a word they said] ... Wow.

NOTE: all the latter negatives can happen ... UNLESS you want to be one of their "favorites" ... don't complain, make like the good Stepford Nurse and drive yourself half asleep to Plantsville after working 11p-9am shift ... [as one nurse said, and "Don't forget to bring your baseball bat to make sure your check is right!"] ... If you play along with their degrading rogue business practices ... trust me, you'll get all the shifts you want...

I've been doing this job way too long to put up w/ that ... and in the end they say "I behaved irrationally" ... "like a crazy woman" ... driving in to their office, I was fuming, after they refused to put my hard earned pay in the U.S. mail because "my check always gets lost" [passive aggressive].

The Dog Eat Dog Corporate World of Health Care ... where the Nurses [stressed to the max] & the underpaid CNA's who are doing slave labor [no breaks, broken backs, cracking knees] & the Business Owners rent our labour, sell our labor, like they're auctioning off slaves [5$ extra for doing 2 nurses work]; Ready Nurse pays time & half for Sup w/wing ... think about it.

P.S. Taieshka deserves a raise; always kind & professional
