PARKING - Upon reserving my room on Hilton's website, parking was stating to be a separate fee at $40. It did not state any more specifics like $40/day or $40 total for your stay. When I arrived at the hotel, I pulled up to valet and asked where the parking was located. The valet asked if I was a guest at the hotel. I said yes, and he told me to pull over and they will take care of parking for me. So when I went to checkout, my bill stated $136 for the 2 nights I stayed at the hotel. Apparently there is valet parking for $68/night, and self parking for $49/night. This is not advertised anywhere on their website, nor was I informed of this. I was misled. Fool me once, shame on you. But I won't get fooled again, if there is a next time. Other than that, the room was OK and everyone was very nice. The location isn't the greatest but it's only a 5-10 minutes walk to most of the activity.

Arrived for my reservation here for a training for work and did valet parking. The door guy watched me unload my bags onto the cart and didn't offer to help. And didn't offer to take my bags to my room. Normally I totally wouldn't care, but I'm very clearly very very pregnant. Then I got to the front desk and they lost the credit card authorization that my work sent over. I arrived after work hours, so I had to put my room on my own credit card instead of my work's credit card that it was booked on. Needless to say, I'm one ticked off very pregnant lady. The rooms are very very nice though.

Every time we stay in Chicago we stay at this Hilton. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. The recent remodel is also amazing! We have easy access to the lake, shopping and food/bars. Our only complaint is parking, but that's Chicago :)

Great! Love that he was close to the water and a great walk from the Navy Pier. You got to take in a good amount of Chicago just from the side of the water.

Clean, but didn't like that they put a sticker on the remote control. Made it uncomfortable to use. Maybe put a note saying "It's clean" with some wipes would suffice.

I'm a loyal Hilton gold member. I stayed at this hotel after my flight to Shanghai was canceled. I was mugged at gunpoint walking to this hotel from a nearby restaurant. I asked Hilton for a refund as I had to pay for both the Chicago room and a night in Shanghai, and because of my bad luck, and was told they can't make an exception to their refund policy.

Apparently my definition of loyalty and Hilton's are not the same. I'll be looking for a new hotel partner. Shame on you Hilton.

Room was comfortable, and modern with an excellent layout and design touches. We used the self park option and the garage was off-site but not far enough to complain, being so close to Michigan Ave.

Comfortable beds, convenient location, not many options for breakfast.

Reserved a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. The controls for the AC took a lot of force to operate, which probably explains why it only had two effective settings, on and off - the thermostat had no effect. Bathtub hardware was cheap and barely functional: I couldn't pull up the diverter far enough to get the shower to run completely for fear that I'd pull either the diverter or faucet off the wall. Hot water varied more than I'd experienced in other high-rise hotels. Even the stairways were the standard no-ground-floor-exit, no-warning type ... someone had actually written on the sign "go back up to the third floor and come down the other stairs". (There are separate stairways for the first three floors - for meeting rooms and such - and for floors 4 and up - the guest rooms - but the guest-room stairway goes all the way down to an alarmed door.) Fortunately I had already read reviews and parked in a nearby garage instead of waiting for expensive valet service or trying to find the Mystery Overpriced Garage. The one thing I can say is that all the staff I met were very nice. I guess if you are stuck at a hotel like this one, you learn to put a happy face on things.

This might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at (although I've stayed in some dives), and it's definitely the worst value for the money. There are plenty of other options in the area - try all of them before resorting to this place.

We stayed here over NYE and it was truly a top memory out of all the hotels we have stayed in, in Chicago. Incredible location, easy check in, extremely clean. We had a two room suite that looked out over the city and the view was incredible. We had privileges of the executive floor with breakfast and nightly snacks. This was very well done and everything was fresh and hot and plentiful. Very nice pool area and fantastic workout room.....beautiful views from the top floor. We never even knew about this hotel and are going back to Chicago next month and have already decided to stay here again. Loved every part of it! Thank you, Hilton!!

I found a great deal to visit this hotel at the last minute and we are very pleased. The rooms are suites which has really paid off with us having a little one in a crib. The location is great. Our room was ready early. My only gripe would be that they do not have a self parking option which some other hotels at this price point offer. $55 a day hurts. :)

Had a room on the 7th floor. The place was filthy the sheets on the pull out bed looked dirty. There's a pool on the top level of the building with a beautiful view but it managed to be a terrible experience. The water was freezing cold basically like being in Lake Superior in October and it was a "heated" indoor pool. Also 3 exercise rooms and no sauna or hot tub. The lights flickered while riding the elevator which wasn't a great feeling. One of the 4 elevators was down for the duration and the in house, while independent, restaurant wanted $20 for eggs Benedict with no sides. Find someplace else to stay.

This hotel is located towards the north end of Michigan Ave near many shopping opportunities and restaurants. The hotel itself could benefit from a renovation as the lobby and rooms seemed outdated. There are two restaurants attached to the hotel. One is a BBQ restaurants named Southern Smoke. The food at this establishment was great, but for me it was the drinks that stood out. The other restaurant is a Sushi restaurant that I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to try. Overall I had an enjoyable experience and I would recommend this location to all Hilton Honors members.

WARNING!!!!!!! This hotel is awful. I wish google had a "negative" star option! This was BY FAR the worst customer service experience that I've had in my life. During my visit this hotel administered a pretentious visitation policy which placed my family and I in an arduous situation. The staff refused to show me any documentation stating that this was a, Hilton Hotel & Resort, policy. They also told me that this apocryphal policy was "NON-NEGOTIABLE" in an agressive and unprofessional tone. The only information that the staff offered was the purpose of the policy (which was unwarranted), stating that this policy was to "prevent parties." I am attempting to write this review from the most objective viewpoint possible. However, as a minority I am under the impression that the more accurate purpose of this policy involved mitigating the amount of minority hotel visitors. While, I understand that this review may be overlooked by potential clients and Hilton administrators. I pray that HILTON WORLDWIDE understands that the most efficent way to please customers, in 2019, involves placing the value of customer satisfaction over the value of trivial mitigation of unforeseen circumstances, that make paying customers feel like they are temporarily occupying a hotel located in the Jim Crow South.

Perfect location with pretty nice view of city. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that wants a nice hotel right in downtown Chicago. We found parking nearby that was very cheap so we didn't have to worry about carrying luggage very far. There is a casual restaurant connected to the lobby. There are a bunch of restaurants nearby also. We walked to Uno's from the hotel and it was not too far. The pool and fitness is on the top floor with great views. There are a ton of major attractions within walking distance. If you don't like to walk to can always easily get a cab or uber. There are some beaches near by and Navy Pier is within walking distance also. We walked all the way to Millennial park. Magnificent Mile is only 2 blocks away. There are so many great flagship stores to choose from. Under Armour, Addidas stores are close by. There is also a 5 story mall right across the street. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean. I am looking forward to coming back and staying longer and maybe see some more sights and attractions of the city
