Reserved a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. The controls for the AC took a lot of force to operate, which probably explains why it only had two effective settings, on and off - the thermostat had no effect. Bathtub hardware was cheap and barely functional: I couldn't pull up the diverter far enough to get the shower to run completely for fear that I'd pull either the diverter or faucet off the wall. Hot water varied more than I'd experienced in other high-rise hotels. Even the stairways were the standard no-ground-floor-exit, no-warning type ... someone had actually written on the sign "go back up to the third floor and come down the other stairs". (There are separate stairways for the first three floors - for meeting rooms and such - and for floors 4 and up - the guest rooms - but the guest-room stairway goes all the way down to an alarmed door.) Fortunately I had already read reviews and parked in a nearby garage instead of waiting for expensive valet service or trying to find the Mystery Overpriced Garage. The one thing I can say is that all the staff I met were very nice. I guess if you are stuck at a hotel like this one, you learn to put a happy face on things.

This might be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at (although I've stayed in some dives), and it's definitely the worst value for the money. There are plenty of other options in the area - try all of them before resorting to this place.
