My family and I spent 3 nights here this past week. The service was great! From reception, hotel service, breakfast, and amenities; we were thoroughly pleased with our stay. Tyson of the front desk is pleasant, professional, and knowledgable. The room is as described; clean, comfortable, and sizable. Our family appreciated the satisfying breakfast that afforded a nice variety of options that could please even the pickiest of little eaters. The chefs of the breakfast team are good cooks and can accommodate any order. We were able to enjoy the clean pool and pool area that added a delightful impression of relaxation to our family trip. In the evening if you would like a refreshment, your request will be met with the unforgettable personality of Les aka "Les is More" who will be sure to fulfill your request with a welcoming smile and humor. Although this location is currently in the middle of renovations (hence the 4 star), such work does not affect the comfort of the stay. We recommend this establishment to families and tourists who need a hospitable place to relax and rest in between site seeing.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 5 years and want to truly offer a 4.5 star rating. However, my last visit (Apr 1st weekend), I had the misfortune of finding bed bugs (Adult sized) on my pillow and sheets when I went to turn into bed. Went to front desk with the bug trapped in a cup and the night clerk told me they would send housekeeping to change my sheets. Nope, wasn't going to be staying in that room. The hotel was booked solid and I was offered no help to find another place as most in the area were booked up also. After 2.5hrs of driving around looking for another place, we ended up sleeping in our car. Even my calls for follow up are not being answered. I will have to call the health unit I guess. Not very happy to say the least and don't intending to stay there again.

Great comfort. The rule not accept cash as a deposit because its not on a credit card is very debilitating to people who don't bank conventionally. Fortunately the manager was able to make an exception, but I think proper customer service would not be to make a customer jump through hoops to look for an exception. Not everyone has a credit card and if you don't have a credit card, legal tender isn't accepted, unless an exception is made? They indicated they would send us to a competitor. Seems more conducive to create an option or product for someone who chooses to deal in cash.

To avoid future frustration I'll chhose another location in the future.

A fine example of the HGI experience. The staff were all polite, with only the exception of a morning chef that seemed annoyed to be doing his job. That coupled with a later bout of unknown stomach illness left me questioning the food - but others in my party seemed fine, so I'm not blaming Hilton! Other than that, this is always a great place to stay, and I know I'll be back again soon enough. Thanks!

This particular HGI is beginning to show its age. It s classic from the last design change 10-15 yrs ago. Wallpaper is peeling. Bathrooms are terrible. Rusty fixtures. No more glass glasses. Now paper! I ve stayed twice recently. Will likely stay at the courtyard in the future. The positive: the bar is nice and the food quite tasty.

I was very excited to spend my honeymoon layover here but I was shocked to find mould in the bathroom which the staff did nothing about when I told them 3 different times! Day 2 of our 4 day stay we ask for our supplies...towels soaps coffees creamer, basically everything and instead we got nothing. We bought our own cleaning supplies and scrubbed the bathroom and room clean. Then payed to wash the hotels towels and bedding so we would have good clean bedding and such. We were going to stay an extra, 2 days but the staff has yet to try to attempt to even talk to us about anything at all!!!! So I'm not sure what will happen next

This was one of the worst stays in a hotel I have experienced. When I booked the room online, it clearly said that there was a free continental breakfast, but only paid breakfasts were offered. I expect free breakfast and will only stay at hotels offering it. During our stay, the toilet only flushed successfully on occasion, the alarm went off the first morning at 6 when it was the only morning we could sleep in, and the room cleaner came in without knocking on the door. We were billed $100 more than we were quoted, but I have called to hopefully rectify this. We expect a lot more than what we got and will never go to a Hilton again.

We stayed 2 nights. Found chips, gum, crumbs and sock under bed and a spider web hanging from front foyer light. Cleanliness is not their best asset, but the hotel customer service is excellent and non questionable of your needs. Walking distance to large central store retailers.

Stayed here for a few days for my wife and i honeymoon. Loved it. From the momment we walked in the staff was nothing but coutesy and helpful. Even went for breakfast in the morning the next day and our server was so lovely. And i love the check in system with the express check in

Couldn't get into my room for 20min and front desk kept giving me different cards to try I went back n forth 5 times just for them to bring maintenence to my room , was locked out my own room and had to get the maids to let me in smfh terrible help from the front desk staff

Great location between Kitchener and Cambridge. Breakfast was good, but they need better organisation to keep guests moving through the service. It is not free. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Staff friendly and helpful.

It was an okay place to stay. Staff is friendly and the bartender makes good drinks! Didn't get the chance to try the breakfast buffet, I'm sure it was good, but $13 isn't really worth it to me. The room was okay, it was clean but the bed was pretty uncomfortable. Hotel is in a good location and easy to get to.

The front desk clerk tried blocking us from getting a room because we had a service dog. Later after not backing down and finally getting the room we went to the restaurant in the hotel.

We waited at our table for 20 minutes before anyone approached us, we were given menus and 30 minutes later we still had not seen the waiter. We walked out and went elsewhere for dinner.

Comfortable and we'll priced. This surprising hotel in Cambridge is one I go to often. It's homey, usually quiet and it has a good amount of restaurants near by. I take one star away because the breakfast service is indeed not inclusive with your stay artless you have status with Hilton Honors.

The staff here is AWESOME!! Isabel and Les at the bar are the best. The front desk remembered my name when I returned a few nights later. It's the little things that matter after a long day and the people here are great! It meant so much after a hard week to return here and have everyone remember you and be soooo nice! I hope I get the chance to return again someday!

Very convenient for folks doing business with Toyota Canada Cambridge. Very clean and usually very quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Minus 1 star for awkward location and few parking spaces.

The bed was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has not seemed to age very well though as it is already looking a bit tired in the common areas. I'm a long time Hilton Hhonors member and was somewhat dissapointed: I've stayed here before on several occasions and it didn't seem up to standard this time.
The breakfast buffet was among the poorer I've had at HGI properties: limited selection and not well tended - the bacon and sausage were grossly over cooked and only warmish.
For a busy Mother's Day morning I thought they could easily have done better.
