Great, comfortable place to stay at; administrative issues, though, which sullied our first night. I stayed here for the Merit Members Conference (which is the conference's first year at The Henry) and, though I like to think that I'm a well adjusted heterosexual male who could survive a night sleeping in the same bed as a man, my supervisor and I prefer to sleep in our own beds, thank you very much (we're not 8 years old after all). It's good to know that the nice woman who delivered a rollout bed for us had a sense of humor, as she chuckled the whole time she wheeled it in. Probably because the bed wasn't exactly meant for adults. Thankfully, day 2 went better and we were moved to a new room with two beds. Beyond the room mix up, there was a problem with billing that had to be cleared up as well, but that was quickly resolved. The Henry did an outstanding job hosting the conference! Catering was top notch and the venue went without a hitch. I hope it's here next year for that very reason.
Luxurious hotel near a shopping mall that has already seen its best days. The decor is typically very opulent in America. A noiseless air conditioning or a switch with the wild in the room distributed lamps and switches can turn off at one go but you are looking for in vain.
Staff was extremely friendly, rooms were clean, facilities top notch. The restaurant has excellent food and the upper floors offer views of the city. A wine machine is available on the club level as well as breakfast and evening hor d'oeuvres / dessert. There was some noise directly above the bathroom at around 9:20am, but overall a relatively quiet stay.
Love the room except the peeling wall paper on bathroom wall by the great makeup mirror. Bathrobes offered were comfortable. Beds were comfortable but pillows were too flimsy was hard to get comfortable. The paintings were nice conversation pieces Lovely snack and dessert offered on 10th floor. Great selection for drinks. Staff was attentive. Breakfast had mushrooms in eggs and no alternative egg/protein plate offered. Some of us are allergic to mushrooms. Only one entrance and we parked in back and had to walk around to front in rain. I wish i had energy to take advantage of pool area.
Was impressed with great service. The bathrooms and room were very clean. Feels like it is a proper hotel. I had left my phone charger in room when I checked out. I noticed several hours later I forgot it...they took the time to locate it! Good job everyone.
Beautiful hotel. Comfortable. Exceptional amenities. Abundant and convenient parking. Close to businesses, restaurants, and shopping. The staff is phenomenal! Thank you.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tastefully done. The decor of the hotel is tastefully done with artwork throughout the facility, much of which may be purchased. The parking lot had only 2 spots remaining, both all the way behind the building as a large wedding party was staying at the hotel. And someone blocked my car in in the morning which was annoying, but that was a guest not the hotels fault. The breakfast buffet is not free but I had added it on when I made the reservation for $20, otherwise it would've been $40. The restaurant is a bit pricey and the parking a little restricted in spaces available but overall nice hotel.
Lovely, unique hotel. The huge, deep bathtub was a delightful surprise. Overall, the hotel is very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional and we would gladly stay again.
I booked a room during October 2020 . This hotel is a work of art ! It is really something else never seen a hotel this attracting . The room was super clean not even a small dust . Every worker in this hotel are really kind and taking there work seriously. The pool is great but only if it was heated . The painting collection the hotel has are wide and wonderful. I had fun playing the piano as well and sitting by the fire in the lobby was wonderful.
I was at the Henry for a meeting. The food was delicious and the staff attentive. It was a good experience, and I'd be happy to attend another meeting there or stay there in the future.
The rooms at the Henry are quite large and cosy. The hotel itself is well looked after, neatly and tastefully decorated, warm and inviting. I haven't been to the Tria cafe yet, but I hear the food is quite good. I am looking forward to that. Overall, it's been a positive and comfortable experience staying at the Henry hotel
Nice place for weddings, reception and other family events as well as business meetings. Halls are decorated with paintings from Park West Gallery. Board room with fireplace and bar/restaurant is good for business meetings as well. Located in the Ford business center in Dearborn.
I just spent the weekend here, I was so pleased with our stay. The room was fabulous. Very clean we requested a higher floor so we had a good view, they were very accommodating. I absolutely recommend. I will be returning. :)
Location was fine. Hotel look and layout was awesome. Staff for valet and luggage assistance wasn't great. Also no complimentary coffee or anything. Overpriced for what it is.
everything from the doorman to the bellman to the front desk to everybody else I encountered at this hotel was five star. This hotel operates perfectly in every way. Clean rooms. Great service and friendly staff. I dont mind paying $2 for Starbucks coffee but I would prefer if they had free coffee sat out somewhere. That would be a nice feature to look into in the future that would be very minimal in cost. I can't complain though I had a fantastic stay thank you all for making it possible for me.
Beautiful hotel with incredible art everywhere. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Henry Ford museum. Not a far drive from downtown Detroit either.
We loved our stay at the Henry. Every customer service associate was outstanding. Maddy went out of her way to help us find some restaurants to go for our anniversary. Our room was very clean & comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
Phenomenal atmosphere excellent staff excellent rooms great art too much to say in one sentence, already and proper English I believe? Five stars is too low! Thank you Marty you've always been a great help whenever I visit you are truly
We loved our stay at The Henry. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are great to sleep in, especially with a sore back. The lobby is filled with beautiful artworks. The bar near the lobby is well laid out and serves good drinks. Staff is friendly and efficient.
It was very crowded when we got there that we had to take the service elevator (they didn't have accessible stairs) to get to our room. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the interior of the entirw hotel is captivating. They could use an improvement in their service, though; when I called the front desk to ask about something, the lady was very rude.
My recent stay at The Henry was a very positive experience, beginning and ending with the friendly door greeter. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The overall appearance of the hotel itself was exceptional. The biggest detracting issue, if you call it that, is the walk around back to the parking lot.
Had the pleasure of spending the day at The Henry for a vendor show. Such a gorgeous hotel, I was in love. Loved all of the artwork I can only imagine what the rest of the hotel looks like. I'd love to stay a night there when the timing is right for me. The staff was so nice and helpful for lunch and the food was delicious. If one of the employees happens to read this just know I appreciate all your work, I know it can feel like you're unappreciated when it comes to serving food. My only negative review, would be that I wish the food would have been served instead of waiting in a super long line. My company had a huge turnout and I don't think the buffet style was a good idea, maybe it would have gone smoother if it were served. I'm not completely sure if that's something that could be blamed on the hotel, maybe that was my company's decision and they thought that'd be the best and least inexpensive route? Not sure just a thought, I'm pregnant so standing for a long period of time for me is hard. Other than that everything was great, such a beautiful hotel.
