I moved to the area in January and was looking for a good family doctor and I found Dr. Glodowski. He has been excellent. Every time I have visited him he has taken more than enough time to help me. I never feel like he is rushing me and he seems well versed as a doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
I was able to see him or a PA on short notice too, didn't have to wait long for an appointment.

My Wife came in for a regularly scheduled physical, when asked if she had anything that was physically bothering her (as every doctor asks when giving a physical) she responded yes. She was about 4-5 months postpartum and was experiencing hip and pelvic pain. After the exam they scheduled xrays and ultra sound. No follow up calls were made by them and was repeatedly asked to pay her bill which wasn't billed as a regular exam. My wife finally called Jennifer (who was supposed to get back in touch with us) to ask her about some follow up appointments, which is when we were told "new patients" can't get physicals there. To make a long story short, they scheduled my wife for a physical, because she had other discomforts and pain/ was a new patient, wasn't able to get it billed as a physical. This was all told in hindsight and not before. Jennifer was rude and seemed to be at a loss for words when asked any question out of her comfort zone. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone especially anyone like us who is new to the area.
My husband and I both went in for physical and to establish ourselves as new patients. When the bills came, mine was over $100 more than my husband's, with no explanation. I asked questions via email, and they eventually stopped responding, likely when they realized their explanations made no sense. Now my bill is in collections. Apparently, I'm supposed to just empty my pockets for these people and pay whatever they say. Nope.
Very knowlegable staff, well organized, and efficient
Completely unimpressed on all counts. I'm new to the area and scheduled an appointment for a simple strep test. They had me see an NP. She was awkward and didn't exactly leave me happy with the level of care I received. I also was only in the room for about 5 minutes. Literally, the only services performed were the basic tests (blood pressure, temperature, etc) and a strep test.
They charged my insurance company $275 for an NP to run a strep test on me. That's crazy. I called to talk to someone about my bill. Of course, nobody is available in the billing office during normal work hours... why would they be?
They don't need to worry. I won't be bothering them with any billing questions or my business in the future.
I have been a patient with GFP since 2018. Overall, my experience has been positive and I think the office is great for squeezing in appointments and offering a clean and professional environment. However, my experience of addressing a significant health concern has been a frustrating process. I was diagnosed with prolactinoma by my primary physician after receiving an MRI showing the presence of microadenomas on my pituitary back in November 2019. Naturally, I wanted to be referred to an endocrinologist and my physician agreed. Eight months later and I have still not seen an endocrinologist. My attempts to communicate with my physician are difficult and the turnaround time for answers is slow. There have been several instances where I was told I would be contacted, only to have to reach out to GFP to remind them weeks later. Overall, I'm unimpressed and angry that I have had to play the role of a coordinator for this office while experiencing significant health challenges.
Dr. Cox is an excellent physician who not only takes the necessary time with his patients but actually listens. He s a rare find in today s medical world that is driven by money/insurance companies where it appears the patient s needs come last. I m truly grateful for Dr. Cox plus he has a great sense of humor!
Recently visited for a physical and was very pleased with the experience. The administrative staff is polite and efficient, and my doctor was knowledgeable, thorough, and professional.
I am so glad I found Generations Family Practice! I can not say enough about Dr. Wofford. She has been kind, patient, a good listener, and helped me a lot in the short time I have been her patient. She does not rush our visits, but takes time to listen, and is very thorough. I highly recommend her!

I have been a patient of Generations Family Practice since the beginning as has my child now an adult. The entire staff is welcoming and professional. My questions and concerns are answered in a caring and timely manner. Dr. Mintzer is always prepared to go the extra mile in treating the entire person, not just your body. The other service providers whom I have seen in emergencies have been equally caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice (as evidenced by the 45-60 minute drive I make from Orange County). They epitomize the excellence and compassion that we all deserve in our health care!
If you d like to be ignored, treated rudely and responded to a week later or maybe never this is the doctors office for you. Would not recommend at all
Generations Family Practice always puts the patient first, wrapping their care around the patient's needs and wants. I've never had a bad experience and would trust them to care for any of my family members. Our society needs more patient-centered family practices that focus on the whole individual/family.
If you truly need a scheduled appointment, don't count on this place to get you in on time EVER. Both times I have come here, I wasn't even seen for a whole hour after my scheduled time.
The first time they stuck me in the back room where they just use it for extra stock. They had me change into a gown & wait for an hour & a half after my scheduled time. In fact, other staff came into the room to grab supplies & that was it. Awkward & very unprofessional!
The second time, I checked in early, and still didn't get seen for a whole hour after my scheduled time.
It's a scheduled time fora reason. I have a job...
Excellent medical practice! I had a physical with M. Riddle, and she was so thorough and took a lot of time to spend with me and go over all kinds of issues. I highly recommend her. Now I know why my sister-in-law and her family go to Generations Family Practice. The staff was also very nice and polite and efficient.
***Update - i've been to another Dr. here since M. Riddle is out on maternity leave and she was excellent, smart and very thorough. I am beyond pleased with this practice. Very professional, top notch medical people. I highly recommend this practice. There patient portal is great too.
The Doctors, staff, facilities and scheduling are top notch. I have to say this has been experience I've had with doctors in my entire life. From the moment I requested a visit I was contacted within hours, then on the sample collection I was in and out in no time. Even the blood samples gave me no trouble. The results came quickly through the portal and i was able to review them before talking to the Doctor. The doctor's appointment was very thorough and he spent time with me, asking a lot of questions and answering even more, taking his time to provide the best care. I never felt that I was "rushed off" as in previous facilities. Keep up the great work!
I have gone to Generations for years. Bozena is so personable and professional, and looks at me holistically. She is lighthearted and always has beneficial suggestions. I had a different nurse this time whose name i cannot remember, but she was fantastic. She said she usually works on the opposite side of the hall. She joked back with me and completed her tasks without it feeling like she was checking things off a list. They were very busy and understaffed but they gave me time and consideration like any other visit. I have problems with my ears, and get them flushed out every time i go. This time is the best they ve felt after having it done. Shy of moving, i will never switch my primary care location.
Love the new office space. Bozena Narula is the best; she really cares about her patients.
NOT organized, we went to the office to get lab test, the lady said our info is not entered, we already called the day before and been told to come next day, the reception lady has a short temper, MANAGEMENT take action if you want us keep coming to your office
Awesome medical facility! Magnificent providers that are always available to answer you health concerns. I drive 30 mins to get to the office and it's totally worth every single minute. I wouldn't change practices for anything!
Have had fairly pleasant experiences with this office thus far. The nurses are incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Justin G is very easy going and caring. So far everyone has been welcoming, and helpful when I've had questions and/or needed explanations. Some billing issues, but we'll see how the rest of my visits go.
Dr. Cox was very accessible and gave me good information. Stacy, the nurse, was pleasant and very efficient. Great experience.
Abysmal. My experience with Generations Family Practice is mixed with more negative points than positive. The only worthwhile provider here is Micaela Riddle Burke FNP and she is the only reason my family has kept on the patient list.
Joann Sumner was once hired as a therapist and was absolutely atrocious in her attitude and demeanor and her treatment set myself and my wife back rather than be positive. One session I had, she spoke about her husband and her music taste for the entire session and I paid for the benefit of her having a social meeting. After my wife attempted suicide, Sumner was focused more on how it would affect her as my wife saw her two hours before her attempt. Sumner neither saw the signs, or tried to help, and the session made my wife feel alone and despondent. Sumner would talk about other staff in session and blame them for her inadequacies, or divulge sensitive patient information.
Brian the phlebotomist is useless. He is surly, ill-mannered, and it's pointless speaking to him about a medical concern as he is clueless.
Dr Glodowski is a joke. He makes inappropriate diaper jokes to sensitive patients.
Dr Cox is okay, but backpeddles on his diagnoses.
Carinne McKeever Woodworth is useless. My wife was at risk of suicide, and rather than help her she shook hand and made my wife promise not to kill herself. The same person, when i called for advice on changing medication as it was seriously harming my wife's health, advised us to go to Holly Hills Mental Hospital for a medicine review. They don't do medicine reviews. They admit every patient that comes their way and force them to sign up for one of their 6 month care plans and try and bill you on admission. A horrendous experience for us all which could have been avoided by someone who is supposed to have her patient's best interests at heart.
Ultimately, they may be good with other patients but the majority of staff have let my wife down, me, and one mistake is forgiveable. More than one requires a serious look at how patients are let down, let fall between the cracks and not helped to the fullest of their abilities.
I have been at Generations Family Practice for under a year. We followed Dr. Dawn Evancho here from another practice. The office is very clean. They have a small area with puzzles and books for kids. The staff is very very nice. I haven t had any negative experiences thus far.
I have been a patient at Generations Family Practice for over 20 years. As Dr. Mintzer has expanded her practice, she continues to bring other health professionals with a similar personal care approach. Great Team. I now see Dr. Glodowski who as a Osteopath, provides a whole person approach.

My wife spend 2 hours waiting to see Dr. Melanie Mintzer , after 2 hours waiting she could not see here since doctor was busy with non emergency case. nurses keep saying that you are the next patient; but in van. i do not understand how a doctor cannot understand that a mother with a baby waiting for 2 hours to meet here !!!!!!!
good doctor should give attention to the time of the patients not leave them waiting for 2 hours, this made my wife more sick and suffering more. she went home crying from the bad treatment that she faced at this clinic. i do not recommend any one to try this clinic at all, very bad , very bad ,very bad.
I was hoping to establish a general doctor in the area, so I visited this practice with the hope of doing so. I received my bill and it was closer to $400, for maybe 15 minutes of a PA's time. As I had not yet met my deductible, I had to pay most of this bill out of my own pocket. When I questioned why this was so high, the only answer they would give me was to make sure I paid it, so that I didn't have a creditor looking for me. I don't understand the reviews that these people are compassionate or care about your well being, when it is clear they do not.
I ve been with this practice for some years and had received an excellent health care care under Dr. Glodowski s supervision. He s always on top of things. The staff has been great. Have nothing to complain about.
Dr. Melanie Mintzer has been my physician for about 13 years. She is the best. Caring, compassionate, brilliant, a very good listener. You leave feeling this person has heard you and with a sense of well being. She doesn't get aggravated when you have visited Dr Internet. She addresses your concerns. She has built her practice surrounding herself with like minded professionals. You could not find a better practice to trust your well being to.
This practice is the best I have ever encountered. If you are looking for a Primary Care provider this is the one to have.
The staff here have been overly caring and helpful. Carolyn especially has worked with me to help me get the earliest appointments and care possible. I have been to several primary cares and this one has been by far the best experience and will always recommend this place to others.
Fit me same day walk-in on a Monday morning, very expediently, with a bad case of poison ivy. Treated aggressively, considering the CVS MinuteClinic from Saturday prescribed an effete topical therapy. And I was actually able to see my PCP, took care of a few other items!

Dr G is the best doctor I've ever had. He's thorough, takes his time during appointments to answer all of my questions, and looks at the whole picture of health and lifestyle. Dr. Sarah Gray was amazing!! She fought for me to get a CT scan the day I went in and I ended up going from the radiologist to the Emergency Department to get my appendix out. When on the way to the ED, she called me to verify all I formation and make sure I was headed to the hospital. She went above and beyond her role there and I can t speak highly enough about her!
Getting through on the phone service at this office can be a nightmare, so much so that I am truly considering finding a new doctor.
Friendly, knowledgeable and overall, one complete office experience.

As a new patient whose records were not finished being transferred, I had a need to speak
to someone quickly. They were very caring and got me an appointment. I am most thankful and pleased with everyone there.
Went for Physical, see Dr Cox. He did not follow up on my concerns. Send me bills for office visit where as I went for full physical which is cover by insurance. Their accounting staff reading notes, saying he discussed your blood report so it will be office visit charge as well. Dr Cox did not return my call to discuss my concerns but he wanted money for every question asked.
Generations Family Practice is one of the best finds in the area. Friendly and knowledgeable office staff combined with a team of fantastic nurses and doctors who never talk down to you, are willing to go the extra mile, and give you the care you need. Plus their new facility to accommodate their growth is gorgeous and perfectly laid out. I cannot recommend this office and any of their awesome team enough. All my friends and family have ended up transferring here, so why haven't you??
I have been searching for a local GP to begin seeing on a regular basis and chose Generations based on the positive reviews and proximity. I received an appointment the same week and met with Dr. Cox. I was taken back early and Dr. Cox made sure to answer all of my questions and explained his guidance in detail. Worked with Dr. Glodowski for the first time and VERY pleased. He conducted a very thorough investigation and analysis of my issue, moreso than the specialist that I went to first and whose recommendation was to get a second opinion. I went to Dr. Glodowski for that second opinion and am very pleased. I would definitely see him again (or any of the doctors at Generations as I've seen most of them before).

This place is amazing. I had to move my mom from her old doctor due to he was not paying attention to her needs as an elderly person. We walked in to Generations and she was treated with respect. The nurse was very thorough and so was the doctor. He listened and acted immediately. I did not think I was going to be able to get my mom away from her old office. But, she sees the difference in the way the two offices operate. She is now trying to get all her friends to make the switch! Thank you Dr. Cox and staff. My mom feels like a person again and not just some old person.

After being referred to Generations Family Practice by my cardiologist , and after my initial visit with Dr. Cox I feel that my health care is in great hands.Dr.Cox spent quite a bit of time with me,answering all of my questions and together planned a course of action. I had a problem with one of my prescriptions and DAWN EVANCHO, PA went out of her way, above and beyond to help me with it. She is also so sweet and understand and attentive to the patients needs. She always answers my questions through the patient portal - I can't say enough great things about her!
This clinic only seems interest in pushing its products (they have a spa etc). I was scheduled for an an medical appointment for which I arrived on time. Then I was kept in the waiting room for about 15 minutes, then when I was eventually seen by the doctors PA (who was Asian and could barley speak comprehensible English) I was told that my 2:30pm appointment was cancelled because they chose to see me at 3pm due to their inability to address my visit. Real bad time management at the expense of the patient.
Micaela and her nurse are the bomb! I have been seeing Micaela for a long time and I am always so happy every time I see her! She is so thorough and so knowledgeable and always has my best interest in mind! She is seriously the best PCP I have ever had! I could not thank her enough for all of her help with my care.

Schedule an appointment 2 weeks ago. Specifically ask for my physical (new patient) and time with the doctor to address health concerns. Arrived to be told that I could only do 1 or the other and the next available appointment wasn t until Dec 3. Two and Half More Weeks of waiting. This is unacceptable, when explained on the phone what I wanted, I should have been made 2 appointments right then and there if this was the situation! I wasted time & money to travel here, just to leave unseen and with none of my health issues addressed. DO NOT GO HERE!

Micaela Burke is a wonderful provider. She is able to handle complex health conditions. Generations Family Practice is unlike any of The Duke or UNC practices. Who are schedule patients 15-20 minutes apart. Micaela follows up with herself via her portal. Your actually speaking to her. The big Universities use MA and LPNs answering medical questions. I can always get an appointment with her or Bozeman. They are my favorite at all he practice.
I have been patient for 4 years a d the new staff is not good, instead they are rude and impolite. I had to wait for 30 mins for my appt after the scheduled time. Will change my provider now
I first came in contact with this provider due google reviews. Nurse is extremely polite and felt like she was genuine in assisting me through my appointment. Dr. Cox is awesome. He's very patient and listens to all my thoughts/concerns about my physical health. Definitely a very welcoming place.
The actual practice is great but if you are new they make you come in for a pre physical visit. You answer a family history questionnaire online then come in and fill out a physical sheet with the same questions. Then they have a nurse ask you the same questions. Then you have the doctor come in and verify all the answers again. You end up paying $150 for this visit because it does not count as part of the physical so insurance generally won t cover it. I ve never had to do this before and it seems like they are just trying to get a little extra money out of you. Complete waste of time and money to do that prior to the physical. During the physical they ask you the same questions again so not sure what the point is. I like the doctor a lot and the facility is very nice. Billing was nice too even though I tried arguing the charge.
Dr. Mintzer at Generations is the best physician I have ever had. She is caring and thorough, always takes the time to ask about me as a whole person, not just a "problem" to be treated. She is thoroughly professional and has contacts with other excellent providers when I have needed to be referred out for other specialty care. I love her! The rest of the staff are equally good. The nurses are kind and gentle, just what you need when you are not feeling well. The front office staff are prompt and responsive. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.
Worst scheduling place. I wait for an hour for just drawing some blood, 2 guys came after me got called before me. I was forgotten there all the time until I could not wait any longer then I left.

I go to Dr. Glowdaski and he is fantastic. He gets straight to the point. Remembers me and things about me and he listens to your concerns. This place is very clean and just lovely. The only reason that I took a star away if because for the first couple months that I was going here the front staff was not very friendly and every time I would call for an appointment it would take a ridiculous amount of time to be able to talk to a person. But it was gotten SO much better. I am not sure what they changed but its amazing.

I've been getting my health care from Generations for more than 10 years. I have a couple chronic illnesses as well as some more acute problems.
Dr Mintzer has always given me excellent medical care and been there for me every step of the way. Her nurse, Judy is also wonderful, answering my questions and helping with all the practical details, listening to me or making me laugh. All of the people at Generations I've dealt with over the years have been very nice to me. My husband and youngest (adult) daughter also go to Generations and have been very pleased with the care they get there. I've been in the Healthcare field for more than 40 years, so I think I know what good healthcare is, and the people at Generations provide Top Quality Medical Care and are "Good People"!
Having returned to Raleigh after several years in DC, I feel fortunate to have found Generations Family Practice in Cary. They are caring, competent, and conscientious. My primary care physician Dr. Glodowski is excellent in his practice, well-versed on the latest research, and invested in his patient s wellness. The staff supporting him are friendly and efficient in that support. Every member of your family will receive excellent care by the professionals at Generations.

even before my paperwork was turned in the Office.
Good office and Dr. Glodowski is a good doctor. However, DO NOT listen to front desk nurses opinion on your medical situation! I was told that my temperature of 99F was nothing of concern, even though I had it for a WEEK! And I should just keep drinking some temperature reducing medicine. I insisted on an appointment which they certainly did not recommend, and after a blood test it turns out I do have an INFECTION! I was prescribed antibiotics for 10 days.
This is the best practice I have ever been to in all my years of going to the doctor. I started going by myself, and for the last few years we all go as a family. We see Carrine and our kids see Dr. Macomber. She is THE BEST pediatrician. Our boys are 12 and 15 and they love her, as do I. I have been going to GFP for about 5 years. Nurse Rosemary is wonderful. The whole practice is warm, caring, and accommodating. Making appointments is easy, and they are prompt in returning calls.These people are genuine and you do not find that much these days.
It is nice to go to a Doctors office, then realize it is more than that. I can see Drs that can treat my condition in one building. Great. Dr Cox is very bright and easy to speak with. Appears to have a understanding of the human body and any conditions that will need treatment. Excellent care provider. Rich Joy
I highly recommend Lynn. She is an amazing Physician's Assistant. Her bedside manner and knowledge are above average. I look forward to building a lifetime relationship with her and Generations.
Generations family practice has once again out done it self,I was met at the door with a smiling face behind the mask,my temperature check,and hand sanitizer.Upon entering the office I found several seats taped off and other seats numbered to practice social distancing.While I waited my turn I noticed one of the workers would come out and disinfect the area when a person would go back to see the doctor.I felt very safe there.I will continue to go to Generations family practice and recommend them to all my family and friends.
