Beware the phantom 4th and 8th floor elevator stops!!! Guest services desk very helpful! Loved the fresh cucumber/lime and lemon/orange water in the lobby every day. 24K Lounge restaurant was very good and convenient. Great location!!!!!

Well located, decent stay but would not necessarily return. Rooms somewhat small for what you pay, fitness room was basic and was under construction. Robes and slippers were a nice touch; otherwise there were few amenities. The door staff was somewhat overbearing, they grabbed onto our things even though we wanted to proceed independently. Not bad but would not necessarily return.

Staying here for work. Very nice hotel - bathroom and shower area very awesome! Bed is comfortable, food is exceptional, service is outstanding. Very clean, room is well furnished, and the air is cold!

What is pictured is a angus cheeseburger and frites. It's sooooo good! Seasoned very well, cooked perfectly, and soft, fresh bun. Loved it!

The room was not very clean, the carpet in our room was torn and stained. The towels while large were stained. The restaurant and bar were under construction and not open. Only 1of the 6 elevators worked and it was inconsistent.

Easy check in process, room was ready when we got there. Fully stocked mini bar, bath robes, with an amazing King bed. Have experienced no issues so far but if we did, I have no doubt in my mind they would handle it professionally and quickly! The hotel is right off K and 14th. Very quick walk to Washington Mall, White House, the Washington monument, etc. Also very close to cocktail bars, restaurants and other must do things! Five stars, no doubt!

Decent city center hotel. By no means luxurious, but ok for the price. I stayed there for a week. No breakfast included and no duvet in the midsts of a cold winter was not good. Hotel bar isn t bad.

Beautiful bars and restaurant. Gorgeous back bar and lighting. Fabulous acoustics and comfortable seating in music venue downstairs. Check the calendar! Large, open bars across a few rooms...have to hunt if you are meeting someone. Don't miss.

You get a sense of room size as soon as you enter the cramped elevators assuming you won the battle for a chance to get into the elevator on a weekend. Service is good though, no argument there. I would petition the city to clean up that park next door to enhance overall ambiance. Scary place unless you like homeless conventions.

Very nice and clean hotel. We arrived early room wasn't ready but we could upgrade to a suite(suggestion don't do it wasn't a suite it was a room) elevators very slow. We were on 14th floor took for ever to get down to lobby.
When we booked said new restaurant would be open in April. Wasn't open yet but there are other great options close by. Within walking distance to sites. Staff very friendly

It was pretty terrible to be fair. Mix up with the rooms so 3 of us had to stay in a tiny room. We booked online, rang to confirm and then rang again before setting off. We originally booked for a 3 person room with an accessible bathroom for my mum. Despite the constant checking, on arrival we were told that these rooms don't exist. I ended up on a mattress on the floor. I was bit all over by bed bugs which made my 2 day stay in Washington uncomfortable.
The concierge, the waiters in the restaurant, the bell hop and the doormen were really helpful. They were fantastic so not all bad. We paid a lot to be close to everything because my mother was in a wheelchair but my mother ended up feeling like a burden because we had to go into a tiny room. There was hardly any space to move the wheelchair round. So yeah bad experience but I know I'm probably in the very small minority. The hotel is gorgeous.

They are currently still in the process of renovating the lobby. We were a little upset about the restaurant being closed as well. The service from valet to receptionist were both exceptional. We were greeted every time we pass the reservations room. This is our second stay and we will definitely be coming back. We booked the executive king room with the city view. The room was clean and the property felt safe. Tip: book from their website to take advantage of the Park and Play deal.

The location is great, the rooms are a little on the small side even for downtown DC though nicely appointed. I asked for a tube of toothpaste to be sent up to the room which ever did make it and the internet connection was not great. The accommodations we're clean but the lobby smelled very heavy of mildew.

This is a great hotel if you're a tourist looking to check out the Smithsonian, White house and other monuments. Its about a 10 minute walk from all the popular tourist spots and is near all the DC nightlife.

Very clean and great location. 5 minute walk to the White House! Would have given 5 stars if it wasnt for the room mix up. When we got to our room, there was someo e in there already! But overall great place.

It was somewhat difficult to pull up to the front of the hotel for valet service during rush hour, being that I couldn't turn left onto the street the hotel is located on. That is the only complaint I had about my stay. The staff of the hotel we're very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and everything about my stay was great!

Great experience! Staff were super accommodating. Only issue we had was check out (and tacked on fees). It gets so crowded and chaotic around 11 am on weekends that people were lined up at the elevators waiting over 15 minutes to get down to the lobby. Also, the parking is valet only (pretty typical in the area) and getting your car was even more chaotic than checking out. Plan accordingly and try to beat the checkout rush. Also, make sure you understand the fees - our added fees with valet parking totaled $175 for two nights on top of the price.

Be warned that if you are planning an event there you may want to pass. They lost reservations, messed up the room code, charged for things that were contractually supposed to be comp'ed, and were generally difficult to work with. The location was good but the service from management was dismal.

The hotel was under renovation which they failed to mention upon booking. The restaurant is closed and the kitchen is closed (no room service). I could have stayed at any of the 20 near by hotels for the same price or cheaper and had a better experience. They should have been transparent with their clients upfront and let them know of the construction. Very dissatisfied.

Our room had a horrendous smell to it. When we entered our room a supervisor was in there clearly trying to get rid of it by having the window open but she hurried out when we went in. There was hair and somebody else s eyelashes on the bed as well as buildup and MORE hair on the soap dispensers in the bathroom. It hadn t been swept nor mopped nor dusted in probably days if not weeks. Completely disgusted that we ended up leaving and driving home at 12 am instead of staying. When we went down to the lobby to leave there was trash on all the tables and on the floor. They want you to pay almost 300 a night and they can t even clean the rooms nor lobby. I highly recommend staying somewhere else in DC.

Nice

Have stayed here in the past and the rooms aren't bad. Close to the white house, the national mall and the metro. Most recently went here for a conference. The meeting space is lovely, but the large conference room has a horrible sewage smell. Conference rooms are in the basement and you don't get good cell service.

Stayed at the hotel for a professional event. Wheelchair accessible, has an entry ramp and elevators (but they are on the small side). Included discount at the attached Starbucks was a nice unexpected bonus. Room was great and I liked having the Chromecast feature, although it's complicated they provide introductions.

The room was a fine size for the 2 of us, and the king sized bed was fantastic. We paid extra to have a park view, which we had, but the windows were so filthy that we couldn't really enjoy the view. The blackout curtains also had holes in them, so they didn't really do their blackout thing. The air vent was insanely dirty, too, which messed with our allergies a bit. Otherwise, the hotel was quiet and fine for our needs. We did have room service one day, which had a 21% "administrative" fee, on top of the $4 delivery charge, so that was the most expensive breakfast I've ever eaten and it wasn't even very good. Overall, the hotel was fine if you can get into it for less than $160 a night.

it was my first time coming to DC, i found out on website that you guys have good reviews from others and that is why i chose hamilton. staff was great but some rooms are not even worth to pay penny for it specially room # 1144. i saw hairs in restroom, bugs that i killed and you still can see the blood on the walls and the carpet smells, upper management should come with some renovation. by the way parking ticket was not included too so you will pay extra for that.

The staff was very friendly although every other hotel that I have ever stayed at has offered free WiFi or at the very least slow WiFi. Guest are paying top dollar and then have to pay an additional $10-$13 extra a day for WiFi

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the location can't be beat, our room was a bit on the small side but very clean. The rooms are updated and comfy and come stocked with everything needed from shampoo and conditioner to hand lotion and face wash. There is a Starbucks attached to the hotel which was very convenient. I was a bit worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but we would absolutely stay here again.

A central location, historic venue and good amenities for an historic place. Diana at the front desk is excellent and Antonio is the greatest Concierge ever for hooking us up with tickets to the Museum at the busiest time of year. A great place to stay while sussing out Washington on foot and by Metro.

My family and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza The Hamilton to celebrate my graduation that was taking place at the Verizon Center. When Guest Services found out that I was graduating they send up a bottle of Champagne to congratulate me on my achievement. They really made my celebration even more special with the kind thoughts and well wishes. The room and service was great.
