A great central location in Dublin, rooms large and clean. Unfortunately the air-conditioning could not keep up with the warm weather and it was a bit too warm in the room.

Breakfast was very good

The Spanish Takeover has only added to this iconic hotel & now, resplendent with the newly redecorated rooms, public areas, excellent menus in Spanglish (Toddy's & lounge & complete with proper Tapas) it's quite remarkable that the hotel has not yet been accorded 5 *. Staff most helpful as always & old hands have stayed on adding to the cosy familiarity of this Irish Tradition.

Lobby has been done up nicely, the whole place feels a bit between really nice and budget. Stayed in a delux superior queen, good bathroom (separate bath & shower) room felt spacious

I was ripped off. Reception told me I could ONLY pay in British Pounds. I went along with it as I was tired and just wanted to get home. When I checked my statement, the hotel had exchanged into Euros at a poor rate, meaning I was over charged by 30 for a two night stay. Complained but no response from them.

A truly lovely stay. The staff are all polite and friendly, the breakfast buffet caters for all. Shame about the fire alarms two nights running (both false alarms) and the pipes banning when the showers start about 6am.
The bed was really comfortable and the rooms well equipped. Will stay again when the alarm engineer has visited.

Oh fab hotel. BEAUTIFUL foyer an even better with the gorgeous Christmas decorations. Staff were lovely as were the clean large bedrooms with tea an coffee making facilities Also iron & ironing board. We took our son an his fiancee for the weekend for his 30th birthday an they loved it .Super breakfast to fit you up for the day with so much choice for all dietary needs .Drinks were well presented at the lovely bar.Creating a lovely ambiance. As you can expect very pricey, but it is Dublin an can't wait to go back to the Gresham.

In the fourth attempt we were given a room that had been repaired. He who was at the reception was more concerned that it was not he who was wrong, but the system. Same for us who had a very bad experience. Don't talk about any kind of compensation for poor service. Can't recommend this hotel

Nice facility, but the staff isn't informed about their hotel and has delivered two bad pieces of information, acting like my mother-in-law was bothering them, including one of the managers. Not good on customer service. Barely made three stars.

The Gresham is a fantastic place to stay. In the City Centre and easy walking to many restaurants and pubs, as well as shopping. The room was very comfortable and nice and the staff was extremely helpful.

Currently staying at Riu Plaza the Gresham Dublin....the location is central and has an upbeat atmosphere. A few things that went wrong already; the shower pressure was insufficient for a real shower, the shower drain plugs when the shower is in use, the staff do not attend to problems in a efficient or sufficient way, and the older part of the hotel could be cleaner. Overall a good hotel, breakfast could include more dairy free options.

Lovely greeting to the hotel, surprised by the atmosphere in the hotel as it wasn't as pleasant by other people staying in the building very poor behavior considering the age category. Staff were very forward and forceful with orders felt very rushed through the dinning experience
Unfortunately I will not be back
Food wasn't to standards by reputation

Room extra small. Hot water 5+ mins to get warm. Very unpleasant experience. Staff was unable to correct issue. The hotel was in a great location but the Money would have been better spent at the Holiday Inn express across the street.

Had afternoon tea here and it was absolutely fabulous. One of the nicest I've had in Dublin with a gorgeous variety and lots of food. Seated at the window of the bar and with excellent service we had a lovely afternoon.

I just called to change my reservation date (because covid) and was told they didn't have any dates open for booking in January, February, March, or April of 2021. This can't be possible. I have had trouble with their customer service in the past - just hard to work with and frustrating. I won't book with them again.

Had a great Irish soup here but wasn't under any illusion that it was authentic. Staff's nice but don't like it when you linger too long at the tables. Beautiful historical setting so worth a look.
