Bought a Nespresso coffee machine though Good guys...

Bought a Nespresso coffee machine though Good guys in Essendon DFO and the service from Kayla was absolutely fantastic! had a whole lot of knowledge about the product! when we got home one part was missing as we bought a Demo model and they were awesome enough to act onto it straight away and get it sent out to us!

We are returning customers and when you are at this store, look for Rhys B. He is an excellent sales person who understands what the customer wants and works within the budget. Even though we have a Good Guys in our area, we still drive all the way here just to get Rhys to serve us.

The store manager is lucky to have him as he is an exceptional sales person.

Overall friendly staff lost 1 point as there was 1 very rude staff member who didnt seem to be bothered to help when i asked her where to find something but the other people i dealt with were lovely and great prices

Purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner today from DFO Essendon , not knowing much about Dyson and how they worked I Was extremely lucky to be helped by Anthony from Dyson. He was informative, friendly, knowledgable about the products and the reason why I finally purchased a Dyson after many weeks of putting off getting one. Thanks Anthony.

I had an excellent experience while buying through Good Guys in essendon. Their sale lady PRAUINA provided a really through and professional service. PRAUINA was very efficient in her communication and always provided me with comprehensive and detail solutions of what was required of me. When I needed a help dealt with urgently, she assisted me without issue. I highly recommended her service. Thank you.

The good guys Essendon I have no complaints I was served by a great lady ( Maria) from electrical she had great knowledge of all the products that I was after explained everything in detail encouraged me to purchase the concierge package on my big electrical items and thank god I did as I have had to use it atfew times Maria tried her best to price match and beat other stores I was very impressed would highly recommend good guys Essendon and speak to Maria she is always willing to give you the best deal possible

On Saturday 22/04/17 our dishwasher died. Went to Store at DFO and selected one from the floor only to find out that the store had sold all the stock for that item.
The sales rep made enquiry on our behalf to locate the model in another store. He told us that they are available At Thomastown and Taylors Lakes.

We chose Thomastown and when we got there they did not have the model we wanted on stock.
The Sales rep contacted Taylors Lake and arranged for the dishwasher to be put aside for us.

We purchased it that afternoon.

The service we received from the three stores was Excellent.
If there was another start they would get that as well.

We bought a TV here, that died just outside of warranty.
We contacted Good Guys head office who fobbed me off to the store, saying only they can help.
We contacted store, who completely ignored me.
Avoid. Won't be back.

I was hoping to buy a food processor, so I called ...

I was hoping to buy a food processor, so I called in advance to make sure the model I had was in stock. It took 3 calls for someone to actually check if it was in stock, then they put it aside for me.

When I came in, I wanted to check that this particular model came with a slicer and grater blade, but the staff didn't know, just said that "it would probably have one".

I wasn't allowed to open the box, and if I got home and found that it wasn't included, I wasn't able to return it, as it would be open.

When I wanted to buy a different model that definitely had what I wanted, they didn't have it in stock, and kept trying to sell me one that was way outside my budget.

Very disappointing salespeople, they don't know their products at all.

Good guys have lot n lot of variety. With all the latest models of TV's available and there is a option that if you found something cheaper then the price they are offering then they can match that price. But in my personal opinion that on the scale they are working there should be more n more sales option available. Its very hard to get discount there even on boxing day or end of year sale the items they put on sale are not much of attraction. I got new samsung 60inch with paying extra to the warranty. they put all the brands under one roof and there is no doubt in quality or warranties. They should i introduce the half price sales by negotiating with the manufacturers and buy in bulk. Its funny when they say item is on sale. There is no difference in price b/w this store and other the only benefit you can get is ones you opt to pick up by yourself as they have big storage here. Further they are the giant is electronics items sale same like the JB-Hifi and i didn't notice a proce differen even by couple of dollars b/w them which is not a good competition. Prices are same exactly same but you can knock for the discount. And if you are lucky you migh get some discountvas wel

Disappointing!!!

30-day match price is a trap.
Goodguys' policy will not take into account the delivery cost when comparing prices with other competitors.
As a customer's perspective, delivery cost, installation cost etc, are being paid out of your pocket, however Goodguys (say BadGuys hereafter!) do not include that in their matching.

Just be cautious!!

Absolutely horrible service. Least helpful customer service. The good guys wouldn't even transfer the order to another store so I could pick my stuff and move on with my life. Please avoid shopping with these guys

I had a problem regarding a product promotion and within a few minutes or was solved. I recently purchased a number of items for my new kitchen. I was helped by knowledgeable staff who were patient with me as l returned a number of times as l researched and compared products.

Attended the store on 09/06 with a faulty Ninja product, and my complaint was handled by a lovely man named Nathan. I have never written a review before but my, what an asset to your company he is! Nathan s customer service skills and general manner are a delight. I highly recommend anyone calling in to the Essendon store asks for Nathan. Thank you Nathan and well done on being just a good, polite and genuinely uplifting human being! The world needs more people like you.

It's the first time I've made a big purchase from them but have been close to buying in the past , but fallen through for one reason or another . Everybody's been going crazy with buying fridge/freezers , so was expecting the worst . But pleasantly surprised , by not having to wait too long . Found staff to be friendly enough , trying to make my purchase as pleasant as possible. Will return as per need , and will hopefully live up to my previous experience...

Manager was fantastic but there was one extremely rude worker who sarcastically muttered words under his breath as the manager assisted me because he claimed he guided me in the purchase of my appliances and did not reap the commission off the sale. In actual fact he did not assist me but instead greet me hello and then make a sarcastic comment about how the washing machines I was looking at didn't look like a fridge. Had it not been for the managers amazing service I would have probably gotten into a verbal altercation. I've worked in retail and a commission based environment and really can't justify that kind of rudeness.
