What an incredible deal, $30 adult or $19 for child for an hour long riverboat ride and a tram ride to the top of the arch. Great experience.

We got tickets to go inside the arch up to the top. Wow, what a view! It was so worth it! But don't do it if you get claustrophobic or if you don't do well with of heights. One of the photos I posted shows the small "capsule" elevator thing you take to the top of the arch. Usually they fit 3-5 people in each capsule.

Well. . my friend and I went to st.louis 2 years ago to go up in the arch. . at that time the arch was closed because of the government shut down. I was planning a vacation in st.louis for September and again the arch is closed due to covid 19. . maybe I will vacation elsewhere. Kind of a bummer because my friend has never been up in the arch.

Only thing to do in this city, arch was cool but going up there was not an appealing thing. For 30$ especially.

GREAT! The weather was brutally hot but there are no shortage of great places to eat & quench your thirst. The sights are beautiful &the grounds are very clean.

A national treasure certainly worth visiting and in my opinion a must to go to the top

Epic. If you don't visit this place in you lifetime you haven't been there you haven't seen one of America's most famous land marks. You have to take a ride to the top - it's not the view but the ride up that will make you appreciate the ingenuity of this unique man made marvel!

It's St Louis what else is there to say!! I lm not afraid of heights so it was a blast for me but not my sister lol!!

Beautiful National Monument! Our family absolutely loved seeing the Arch! My husband and I have been to visit before and wanted to share the experience with our kids. They LOVED going on the Tram ride to the top and wanted to stay at the top for a long time. They said they didn't want to leave. Thanks for such a great experience that we could share with our kids!

Also, the updates are AMAZING! The entrance and security is done beautifully. Great job!

Just adoring the gigantic Gateway Arch from the outside is good, but going up to the top of the arch is better. You get to see a magnificent view of St. Louis, Missouri like you ve never seen before.

You have to ride a small 4-seater pod up to the top of the Arch. So if you are claustrophobic, you may have to think twice.

This is a great piece of architecture, and the tram ride to the top is not to miss. Be sure to book your tram to the top tickets atleast a day in advance as same day tickets tend to get sold out by mid day.
The tram to the top is a unique experience as you get to sit in a small capsule which takes you to the top. Each capsule seats 5 and it's pretty crammed and it's a 4 min ride up and 3 Mins down. The trams run every 5 Mins.
There is the North tram and the South tram for each of the legs of the Arch. Both are exactly the same and they alternate leaving 5 Mins apart.
You can spend as much time at the top. Height is limited, probably a little more than 6 feet. It's at the top there are small look through windows through which you can see the city side and the water side.

Loved it. Don't discount the on site museum either. I spent an hour taking in the exhibits. Well worth the $.

A beautiful piece of architecture that decorates the St. Louis skyline. The grassy fields make it a great place for a picnic. If you have time I highly recommend going up the arch and getting a birds eye view of the city.

Definitely a site worth seeing. An amazing achievement of modern architecture and engineering. The second floor museum is full over history. Ranging from the settling and founding of St Louis and the difficulties and struggles of early pioneers. A true marvel to see such detailed depictions of the the history and heritage of not just St Louis but also the western expansion and trade. If you are visiting St Louis, do not pass up the arch without stopping in to see all it's beauty and wonder.

I have been to the Arch twice in my life, and this time we went up in the Arch!! So much cooler from the top!!! My husband and I went up with his brother and 3 year old niece. She loved it too! Definitely a MUST do!

The renovated Arch grounds are a 100% improvement over the old Arch grounds. If it's your first/or only time here don't skip St. Louis without going to the top. The arch museum is one of the most fascinating places I know of to learn about Westward expansion and the city of St. Louis...the Museum is wonderful...food is good in the cafe and the gift shop is unique and reasonable $$$. Wonderful experience!

We never have been able to take the tram up it, always either closed or sold out, but it's still a nice area. Love that St Louis does so many things for free, but not the arch, unfortunately. The river has flooded recently so there was a ton of silt on the road and lower paths.

The most adrenaline-rising experience I have ever had! It was great! I was so nervous, but the tour guides were nice and I quickly got into a good mood. My bf was in the tram with me, and for a person that is scared of heights and is scared of tight places, I must say it was better than a car ride. :) I had an awesome time.

Great tour but be prepared! To get 600 feet of fun it s best to be ready! 1) Parking is very limited so map it out in advance. 2) If bad weather in the area, you will have to walk in it with little or no cover. 3) The arch entry lobby is accessible for wheelchairs but the arch elevators and viewing deck is not. 4) Fear of heights? Well you may want to think twice, you are 600 feet up AND the arch sways up to 18 inches. It was swaying 6 or so 20-30 mph winds when we were there enough to make you think about every step. 5) No bathrooms upstairs. It s a bit unnerving but I enjoyed it even if for a few minutes before I got dragged downstairs by the family.

Gateway arch stands as a testimonial to the technology that existed in 1965. It is still contemporary and serves as a good monument. The museum is very well planned and presented. It is quite an experience to travel in a capsule to the top of the arch.

Good museum and very well run. If you've not been it's a must do if you aren't colstrophobic.

Lots of interesting history. Don't need to go up in the arch to enjoy it.

What a beautiful site to see at sunrise. Feel safe to walk the huge lit paths around it that lead to the well lit docks

One of the most beautiful national parks in the country IMO. The newly renovated arch grounds are absolutely beautiful. The park now connects directly to downtown over the interstate making travel between the two much easier.

The new museum tells the story and history of St. Louis from the early native Americans, and Lewis and Clark, the hayday if the riverfront and up to modern times. One of the most interesting exhibits was the history of the arch and the competition used to design the memorial. Seeing what could have been vs what the arch is today was very cool.

This is one of those places that if you're in St.Louis, you gotta see the arch. If you're concerned about your safety, there's metal detectors, if you want to have some fun, there's 16 life-sized balls that can take you up the arch and down back, if you're need some food, they have a food court, also a museum and a gift shop

Fair St. Louis was held here and I worked the event with my second job. They way they've redone the park is awesome and it's huge. I enjoyed just the park itself, let alone the fair. I had a great time and earned some cash!!!

Must visit place in St.Louis! :) view from top is great also.

St Louis Arch is it National Park, great to take your kids. There is elevated parking north the park.

Beautiful new grounds. Great for running, walking and hanging out. Green and lovely.

With the newly remodeled location and museum, this place had me thinking I ve never been here before. There s definitely a lot more to see and do. The restaurants were a great addition along with the museum for those who want to know more. My wife enjoyed it as it was her first visit as did I. I will be coming back again just because I felt like I haven t seen all of it in the time I was there.

Just seeing it was very cool. Unfortunately I didn't research enough to know you need to plan ahead & buy tickets early for getting up into the arch itself. The museum is very diverse with it's coverage from the history of the area to the actual design of the arch. We'll be going back another time.

You could probably do this in a few hours. Not bad, as far as tourism goes, you gotta cross it off your list if you're here. As far as actual value... it's basically just like going up in a building.

An absolute must-do in St Louis. Don't let claustrophobia stop you from the ride to the top. If you get a Combo Ticket (inc boat cruise) do the boat 1st or last of the 3 items. The views from the top are spectacular. The museum portion takes time to see it all. All up were there for 6 hours.

Nice place to visit clean and peaceful, beautiful view if you looking to take a walk or bike ride this is your place plus they have horse and carriage ride.

Good free museum underground underneath the arch that covers different aspects of St Louis history. Good way to spend time before watching a baseball game

So fun! An experience of a lifetime! I got vertigo at the top but the experience was amazing. I was worried the trip up would be roller coaster like but it was slow and smooth-ish.

Beautiful place. Clean, quiet and chill. I wonder how this small park can be national park...

It was fun- the updates are nice and make it feel more modern. The video they play via projector is cool but seems somewhat irrelevant to the arch in it's entirety. Make sure you make reservations in the summer- we went twice and both times were sold out.

We loved the Arch went up to the top. My grandaughter had a blast she was kind of scared it was a windy day lol. I would highly recommend for everybody to check it out.

Had a good time in the museum with the family even though we could not go up in the Arch

Excellent museum! Trip to the top was amazing and the grounds were well maintained. I have 3 children ages 5 to 15 and everyone enjoyed our visit.

This is a must see place. At night was so peaceful. I wish they had better lighting on the Arch.

The arch is an incredible looking structure. The park around the arch is also nice to walk around. We spent almost half a day in this area . Not much to do apart from the arch in this area. There is a team ride that takes you all the way to the top of the arch . Its $14 per person. The tram is super tiny and the windows at the top of the arch are also super tiny. Not super impressed by the team tour , but was ok for a first timer.

Really cool place since they redid everything. Be sure to check out their museum. It's free and has lots of interactive content.

Really really neat to walk through the free museum and see the history of St. Louis and the arch. They have rides you can purchase to the top. The park around it is really pretty and you can relax. The movies and riverboat tickets can also be purchased here. Really cool!

Everyone was very nice and our room was very clean. I would suggest that they bring in a cleaning crew overnight to get the lobby back in shape for the next day.

Went the weekend before Christmas and had a wonderful time. Not crowded at all, although there was a wait for the arch ride. Museum is beautiful and very informative. Traveled with a 2 & 4 year old and they enjoyed looking around. Gift shop/cafeteria area is really clean and well kept. The arch itself is so incredible. It's hard to believe it is possible when you are up close!

Very cool national monument. Take the tram ride to the top for a unique view of the city and surrounding area. If you have a 4th grader, get the free national parks pass that lets them take their whole family to national parks for free for the year.

Neat structure, riding up it was uh, interesting.. and scary for some.. But worth it.

Very nicely redone. It has been several years since I've been to the Arch. The new park surrounding the Arch and Visitor Center is well maintained and provides beautiful walking trails. The new Visitor Center is very impressive as well.

This was the first trip for my kids to the arch and the first trip I have been able to take since they completed the renovation. I would highly suggest visiting. The renovations were well needed and made huge improvements. The kids loved it, too.

Lol I was scared of the heights but I can tell by the outside it looks very clear and nice.

Beautiful site. But the wait for the tram to get you up top is a long wait. We were going to have a 2 1/2 hour wait. Be prepared to walk.

Wow this is a tallllll structure, didn't expected it to be this tall. There is a elevator system inside (you need to buy tickets for this, but they are like 10 - 12 dollars) which takes you up where there is a observation deck and you can see the city from a bird's eye. There is a small park just at the back of it where you can take epic pics and selfies.

It was an amazing view. My family and I went to the top of the arch and it was a great experience.

We last came by this way about 5 years ago. At the time our oldest was a baby and we took her up. We came back with 2 kids this time and they had a blast. The museum is a lot of fun and educational, the ride to the top takes 4 minutes up and 3 minutes down. So even if you don't love heights it is pretty quick. We had a nice clear view out the top. Highly recommend it.

I had been here when I was younger and not much has changed. I took my son for his first time and he loved it. The egg pod things are something you just gotta experience at Least once. It was a little foggy the day we went but still could see the beautiful views from up to. It's not too pricey for the ride to the top and it's kind friendly. However I don't think it's handicap accessible to the top but you may want to check into that as I am not for sure on that.

From an engineering perspective it is a nice one. A few views are good. Once you go up, you do find that it's not well cleaned and maintained but considering the fact that it's a major tourist attraction, it should be

We went on a Friday morning. No lines/wait. If you're going to go to St. Louis, you must do the tour to the top of the arch.

If you can get the tickets online, DO IT!!! Our friends didn't, and it was a long wait in line. Be mindful about time. The tickets are for specific times to line up in your designated time group. The team takes a total of 40 people. If you are in big groups, decide ahead of time on groups of five because that is how many can go in each car. We didn't know, and we held up the line as we tried to figure it out. They do photo ops before going up. You can get a 5x7 and some wallet sized ones. The biggest package is the $29 one where you get all of that plus digital copies. Be mindful of this, though. They do different kinds of frames and digital stuff. The digital copies, however, do not have all the ones you get in the photo bundle. Still, I liked getting the digital copies. They send them to your phone. Other than that, they have LOTS of things to do while you wait to go up or after you come back down. It is VERY interactive. NOTE: be sure to go to the bathroom BEFORE you go up. There is NOT one up there. On the bright side, the arch has great air conditioning!

One of the best attractions in the Midwest! The view from the top is truly astonishing, and I could explore the downtown's skyline and track the tiny ships going down the river endlessly. Definitely worth checking out if in St Louis!

It was -8 degrees when we went so outside in the line was FREEZING but warm once we got inside. The were updating the inside museum area Dec '17 but things were functioning and moving pretty fast line wise. Also took some great photos up inside the arch.

Graft place to visit the arch is more than a monument but a representation that you were going to a destination

It was my wife's first time going the fog was to thick but still had fun. Will go back next time we are there.

Cool place to visit. I have been to this quite a few times. This was the first time I've had to wait longer than 15 minutes to ride to the top. The western expansion museum is also worth checking out. Make sure to check your pockets before you go. No weapons allowed including pocket knives!

A St Louis classic! The remodel is amazing and the museum is top notch. Parking options are not obvious but it's walkable from anywhere downtown.

I've heard and read about the Arch for years but was still amazed by it in person. What a wonderful example of American ingenunity. We watched the 30 minute movie on the building of the Arch then rode the cars to the top. What an incredible view! The national park surrounding it is lovely...plenty of good hotels just across the street. You can't visit St Louis and not stop to see this Gateway to the West.

I was in St. Louis on a business trip and took a little time to see the Arch. I'm glad I did. Pictures don't do it justice. It's a really impressive structure.

It is just something you have to go do. The view from the top is amazing. The whole park is very nice lots of great views of the arch. The museum is very well laid out really nice. The only bad part is the TSA style security. The staff was very friendly. The gift shop has tons of gifts and souvenirs.

Absolutely fantastic and affordable attraction in St. Louis. It doesnt get much more iconic than the gateway arch as far as monuments are concerned. And the glimpse of it from the car let's you know you're in the gateway city straight away. I've been to the top several times. It's a great experience for kids and adults alike. The museum's and shops at the bottom are often not thought about or mentioned but they really do add to the experience and turn a 1 hour attraction into a half a day attraction if you want to. Or you can skip the extra curriculurs and head straight to the top. Fun either way.

Monster monument. Getting to go up to the Arch is a major experience. If you are claustrophobic do not attempt. Once in a lifetime experience. Besides going up there is also a museum plus plenty of other options

A must do when visiting St Louis. It's the trademark the show's off the city. Take your time at the top and admire the view.
