The Fox Theatre Review

I can't get enough of the Moroccan-style architecture. The auditorium's ceiling looking like an open, twilight sky is a nice effect and going to a movie or show here really feels like going back in time.

the staff was friendly. didn't care too much for the seating. for the particular concert we went to, i was not able to pick my own seats so i ended up somewhere where i normally wouldn't sit. all night we could only see the back of these boxy women who refused to sit down.

The Fox is beautiful and well maintained, play (The Bodyguard) was geezy Debra Cox gave a dress rehearsal performance.

I enjoyed watching Tyler Perry play. This theatre is intimate and I don't think there's a bad seat in there. I was in row R seats 3&4

Scary, the stairs inside the theater need to be redone and made safer. I understand keeping its authenticity but you have elders that come here and its heartbreaking watching them navigate these stairs. Need to add bathrooms on every level as well

How could one not love the grandeur of an opulent theater built in the 1920's?! And the play, WICKED, was performed so well. The costumes, the music, the vocals, the choreography and the storyline were all excellent. The one downfall was the restrooms... some of the latches on the individual stall doors didn't latch. And the line during the 20 minute intermission stretched all the way back to where we entered the theater. Many people were like us, and simply returned to their seats rather than miss part of the performance. The latches can be repaired; however, I'm not sure anything can be done about the long lines for the restrooms without impacting the Fox's 1920's character. I'd rather experience some personal inconvenience than to risk losing any of its charm.

The Fox theatre is such a beautiful place. The staff was super friendly and willing to help. The Alvin Ailey production was beautifully done.

This place is a "must visit" for anyone visiting Atlanta

I see why they call it the fabulous fox theater. It's gorgeous.

Very nice looking theater. The staff was helpful and guided you right to your seat. The view from the upper level was great... I could see all parts of the stage clearly. The acoustics were great as well; I could hear the orchestra and the actors clearly.

I went to see the Lion King 2nd row from the front. It was amazing. My dislike of the Fox Theatre is that the seats are still to small.

We were so fortunate to find tickets in the center of a Row K to the sold out show, Hamilton . The show was amazing so it was an added treat to catch it in this legacy theatre. The Fox is Atlanta s pride and joy for good reason. Just thinking that it was almost bulldozed gives me chills. It is a national treasure. We were visiting from out of state so we will always remember that special evening.

Very fly & classy environment. It felt as if I took a mini vacation because it's so unique & the carpet was very comfortable to walk on.

The theatre is beautiful and their staff keep it running smoothly, even at the busiest times. Just know, if they post the seats have limited view, they are correct. But still wouldn't stop me from buying them as they are still great seats. We had a great time.

GORGEOUS theater! I feel grateful to have seen Sigur Ros there... the Sky ceiling in conjunction with the decor is truly breathtaking...

Outside of the negative aspect of the theater being designed and built by the masonic lodge, a very nice place and an excellent performance by the Christian Band 3rd Day.

Beautiful venue, don't love all the changes to the nutcracker this year :(

A great Broadway type venue in Atlanta. You get the same experience as NYC brought to Atlanta's doorstep with a beautiful theatre. I would say the seats have more leg room than NY Broadway. The rotating shows allow Atlanta the chance to get awesome productions.

The interiors are amazing. Mosaic Middle Eastern motif, and the upgraded LED lights and twinkling lights are especially magical. The stage is a little small for the crowd capacity, but close.

Always a good time at the Fox.
Worse part. Traffic before and after. Parking always.

My favorite place to see any kind of performance. Travis Tritt did not disappoint.

One of Atlanta's landmarks, of course, enjoy a moving music in this beautiful theater! The theater is a charming palace full of Arabian atmosphere. At that time, it was the "Phantom of the Opera".

It is worth mentioning that this place is like a feast of high society, as well as an Oscar award ceremony, dressed in elegant and gorgeous gentlemen and ladies, and then turned into Liu Ye, and happily followed through a formal, advanced , Unforgettable opera night.

Has the most amazing experience, the staff was super sweet, everything was so cute, and overall the theater is adorable. I got to see Stray Kids for the first time, I have amazing memories her.

A fabulous location for a concert or show. Entertainment was Excellent [5 stars]

sound quality is amazing. If you are going to a metal show bring earplugs.

I thank, The Fox Theater for the best time last night. Chad made this the event of a lifetime. I have never been taken care of like Chad took care of me. You guys are the best. Expect me to attend many more shows.

Best place to see a concert in Atlanta in my humble opinion. I am fortunate enough to have seen many musical performances there from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to the final show of Soundgarden in Atlanta.

The Fox is worth going to just to see for itself. Parking takes a little extra time, so plan for it.

It's the Fox. I wish the seats were more stadium but if you're tall enough you'll have a great view (and my luck you'll be sitting in front of me LOL).

The Fox is a beautiful venue with a great atmosphere. I have seen a few shows here over the years and most recently saw Hamilton. Iconic Atlanta venue, highly recommended.

It is an architectural beautiful theater. The seating seem to need a bigger slope incline to ensure view to the stage. I saw Rent which just pulled you into the performance.

This theater is a favorite venue of mine. It has been beautifully restored. The staff, paid and volunteer, are super friendly and helpful. The marquee club is lovely and comfortable and the food is plentiful and tasty.

Smokey Robinson was so full of energy.The show was alive

I hadn t gone to the Fox in quite a long time but I ve been to plays there my whole entire life. Seeing Aladdin with my mom was one of the greatest plays I ve ever seen there and again I ve seen a lot. With the original Broadway cast I was blown away! Every single scene simply rivaled the next and you weren t left bored but enthralled the entire time. The show was amazing to say the least!

It's a beautiful place to visit. The rich history jumps off the walls.

Babyface was awesome, could do without Keith Sweat.

I ve been to many shows, and I have sat in many different sections. It s a great view from anywhere! I most recently I saw Hamilton which was absolutely fantastic.

Worst theatre experience in my 62 years. DO NOT pay $ for seating in rear of lower level. Ushers not trained / not equipped / not willing / not allowed? to deal with late arrivals. Sat on aisle of Row OO for Book of Mormon ... Book of Miserable. Fox needs velvet ropes and, in Atlanta, cattle prods.

Service and show was good. Get there early for whatever event you attend to make your experience that much better.

I attended a musical concert on this visit. My seat was in the first dress area. My seat was nice. The sound was marvelous. I was behind curtain "E". I hope your visit will be just as good as mine. Enjoy

Beautiful theatre, helpful staff. But the seats are so uncomfortable and close to front row. You and Your kids will get your view blocked by people sitting in-front. Many people were complaining or asking front people to move or get little down. A few were fighting too. It is sad that we get such seats and view after getting so expensive tickets. It is all business with no comfort. Would prefer a movie theater with more comfortable seats and with much less price.

We went to the Fox Theatre last night and had a wonderful time. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to seeing another show here very soon.

Great venue. My only complaint is the mezzanine seats were to low to the ground, causing my knees to hurt. The seat wasnt comfortable.

I'm sure you've been here if you've lived in ATL for a while, but if you haven't GO TO A SHOW. The theater is amazing! I went to the nutcracker last year and was blown away.

Just as beautiful as I remember from childhood! The staff was amazing and helpful. I was happy to attend the Atlanta Ballet Nutcracker!
