It was a wonderful experience and I had a great time at the concert.
It was a wonderful experience and I had a great time at the concert.
In and of itself, the Fox is grandiose over-the-top. Everything you would want in a local theater! The biggest complaint has always been and shall remain the parking and the traffic - which it can't really do anything about. So do yourself a big favor and plan to be there for your show well in advance, and hang out at the local spots while you wait. Because these shows are always top notch!
I love the FOX. Make sure you re there earlier than you think for parking purposes. Actually saw Cats! Newly update by Hamilton choreographer. Great update!
Good seating and acoustics, great staff, excellent performances. Lose the popcorn.
We had a great time with 3 of our grand kids. The venue is beautiful. Saturday matinee made the commute easy. I recommend playing for parking in advance.
Such a beautiful place...feels like you are stepping into history
By far the greatest theatre experience in the entire south!
Beautiful theater. I have been a few times and it has always been magical!!
Wonderful historic theatre that transports you back into time. Great place to see an off Broadway play, a concert, or even the Atlanta ballet.
I love this place. Great venue. Have seen a play (American in Paris) and most recently Celtic Women. Awesome both times.
Great theater. Classic style. Once I went to a show a night with another mom and two children, felt uncomfortable walking 3 blocks from where we parked. Something to think about, but never felt uncomfortable during the day.
The Fox is always awesome. Saw The Color Purple for the first time and loved it!
Amazing place for concerts. Sound is fabulous. If you've never been it's a must!
Such a beautiful theater. Went to see the Lion King on a date. Comfortable seating. Good speakers. We were seated on the ground floor. Enjoyed the visit.
Staff was helpful and beer lines moved fairly well for the crowd. The architecture is amazing. I found myself checking out the venue as much as the act at times. A must-see for people who enjoy live performances. I ve sat all over this place and there s not a bad seat in the house for a place this size.
You cannot go wrong going here. Spectacular Theater.
Great place for theater events. Seats anywhere in venue are good.
Amazing acoustics in this world class theater house
Cozy venue! Easy to navigate. Space to dance in your seats!
Beautiful architecture. Exquisite interior.
They need to do better about crowd control.
The Fox Theatre in downtown Atlanta hosts plays, music concerts, movies and much more. The staff is always friendly. You are able to purchase alcoholic beverages, soda, popcorn, fruit and cheese and chips to enjoy while you are there. It is not as small as The Taberncle but no where the size of Phillips Arena.
Have you really visited Atlanta if you haven't seen a show at the Fox. It's a great venue I love how you can just see the history all around. We saw Derek Hough most recently and the show was outstanding. One thing I will say is adult beverages are pricey but about on par with a ball game. Also, the mens restroom upstairs smelled of cigarette smoke so I'm pretty sure someone was smoking in there during the show.
Congratulations to Kurt S.Adler, Icon award winning excellence and award.
Coolest
Theatre in
Hotlanta
Saw Matilda
Just great!
Really great theater. Most of the time very high quality shows! Annoying online fees but you can avoid them by going to the box office to order instead :)
It's okay. The seating goes back instead of upwards so the audience is VERY far from the stage. There's lots of ballrooms and multiple events at the same time.
The Fox Theatre is one of the most elegant venues I've ever experienced! The ambiance is spectacular!
Beautiful historic theater in downtown Atlanta perfect for Broadway in Atlanta and all other types of shows.
Wonderful view. Very accommodating employees. Just saw An American in Paris and it was brilliant!
The Fox is a magical place you go to experience something cultural. The environment of feeling like your outside be cause of the ceiling is my favorite feature. If your not sure what I'm talking about next time buy seats in the loge or 1st dress and then look up when the lights go down.
Wicked was great, seats okay - no leg space in the Loge. My legs are long so my knees hurt by the end of the play.
Great theater with friendly helpful staff. I just wish the ticket technology was better. Every time I go I have to find a place to print my tickets. Go mobile Fox!
The Atlanta's Fox Theater is a gorgeous facility to see live acts and broadway shows. It's an enduring testament of what a city can do to keep one's history alive (built in 1929), as it continues to highlight ongoing entertainment. One of a series of Fox Theater's that continue to survive from around the US. Enjoy it's grand live organ concerts before movies and special events as well as the sun setting in the faux sky above as it slowly dims before the show.
Wicked. Wow! Pay a little extra and get good seats. We loved it.
We love EVERYTHING at the fox. Now 30 years old, my husband and I went to prom at the fox in high school. We go to the Nutcracker every year and concerts there are the best! An Atlanta highlight!
Beautiful theater, very high prices on drinks though.
Beautiful theatre! Went to see the Nutcracker and it was an absolute joy. Highly recommended.
What to say... It's been around for ages and the place to watch music concerts and Broadway shows, comedy, dance... The arts in general. We visited during a full house to experience the Broadway rendition of Aladdin. Full of history and different themed rooms for any party. Many floors for your viewing pleasure. The seating in the main stage is reminiscent of a outdoor market in the Middle East. We'll definitely need to come back again to see other shows and at least do a tour!
Incredible service and an incredible venue for shows. It's simply awesome to be there.
Beautifully restored classic theatre. A great setting for any show.
We were at the Fox for a performance of the Color Purple. As usual, it was a good experience. Though maintained fairly well, the venue does show its age in some ways.
The details that went into building the Fox are incredible. Everywhere you look you can see the meticulous workmanship. "They don't build them like they use to." And, of course, the acoustics are great.
Went to Anita Baker concert, my Mother's Day gift. Ruined because some people were allowed to stand up for the entire concert, blocking our view. Ushers would not ask them to sit down. Those tkts were not cheap & this was not a rock concert. Waited over 30 years to finally see this artist, who is retiring. Very disappointing! Also people were showing up very late to their seats, also interrupting. Wont say i will never go back, but i will def think twice. Not the old Fox Theatre!
Beautiful venue, 8 dollar beer, crowd moves through quickly
Enjoyed the play so much, went to get a small bag of popcorn and they ONLY SOLD TUBS with obesity being such a HUGE ISSUE....SMALL bag would have been nice !!!! Sold more ALCOHOL than anything !!!!
The Fox is a beautiful venue. It's always fun to see a Broadway musical there. The preshow organ music is entertaining.
Fantastic. A theater, also a brotherhood house. Egyptian style, exotic. Still running.
Amazing! We saw The Book of Mormon. Was fantastic. Ladies restrooms do NOT move fast so better get there early!
I love the Fox, so beautiful! I've been going to the Nutcracker Ballet for a long time and it never ceases to make me feel young and excited to see it at the Fox.
We visited the Fox to see the nutcracker this past year and had a wonderful time. The seats were very nice, the staff was friendly, and our overall experience was very enjoyable. Would definitely go back!
I've been going to the fox for all manner of shows for years, but on a recent visit the security team suddenly decided to make a huge deal of a tiny Swiss army knife that's been on my keys for years.
Walking in, I had no idea this was prohibited, even knowing they had increased security this year. It was never an issue on any of my previous visits, including this year.
It wasn't the change in the application of the policy that bothered me, it was how rude and unhelpful everyone involved in this was, from security to customer service.
Atlanta landmark that everyone should take the chance to appreciate
Aliddin at fabulous Fox ,no better place for this show.
Getting into the theatre was easy. The staff is nice. There are no tv's for people see if ur sitting up high or in bacony area.be careful walking down the steps very steep to me. U have to go all the way to the basement to use the restroom.
The Fox is one of Atlanta's most beautiful landmarks! It is such a special place that I proposed to my wife here!!!!
