The Fox Theatre Reviews

The Fox Theatre is a classic icon of downtown Atlanta. I love to watch shows there. My grandparents used to go on dates there, they died a few years ago at 93 and 94 years old. It's a more intimate venue and absolutely gorgeous inside. The acoustics are riveting and get your blood pumping.

Enjoyed last night's performance. Only complaint, with theatre sold out, hard to use restroom at intermission. Not enough facilities.

This place needs updating to make it a better experience for all.
The air condition does not work. They only have 1 elevator and hundreds of steps to climb.
The SEATING is tight ! And very uncomfortable. The drink selection is poor.
The view from the top seats is horrible. This was my third visit in 15 years. Not going back.

Had great seats at the Alvin Ailey Dance production and the dancers were fantastic!

Beautiful venue that brings in top notch acts. Brilliantly organized - one of the most efficient mass bathroom experiences I have ever witnessed.

GORGEOUS THEATER. The service was spectacular as well. Everyone helping out, directing you, etc.

It's beautiful. Really stunning. But no matter what show I've been to, the lines for everything were ridiculously long. The first few times, I thought maybe they were just under staffed, but it's always like this. I recently saw Chris Rock and the venue was so hot that everyone was fanning themselves and complaining. It's a shame to be sitting in such a pretty place sweating to death.

This place was really dope. The staff were really nice and the bathrooms were very clean

Always a good time at the Fox. You walk in and are transported to another era. So beautiful. And the staff are so nice. I've always liked coming here.

After catching shows on Broadway I realize how nice this theatre is.

Great shows! Here's a tip, buy the tickets at the box office instead of online. You'll save about $13 in "service fees"

Great old theatre. Comfortable seats. Long lines for the restrooms during intermission. Friendly, helpful staff. Have been to performances where the sound system has been excellent, and ones where it's been marginal. Security/bag check at the entrance is organized and efficient. Plenty of nearby parking; prices vary greatly; do your homework online in advance.

A beautiful old venue with excellent accoustics and not a bad seat in the house

Incredibly beautiful venue--like none other, in my opinion. Shows are top notch and the staff is always kind and helpful. I grew up coming to shows at The Fox and hope to one day continue the tradition with my own children.

I love going to the Fox Theater. Our last show was Book of Mormon the musical. I needed the laugh.

I have always enjoyed the Fox Theatre even as a young child. It s a beautiful building that takes you back in time and every bit of the building is beautiful down to the bathrooms and lamps. If you re visiting Atlanta it s one of the must see places here for the history and a great experience. It is a pricey for drinks and refreshments but that s expected.

Went to see The King and I. It was so hot we had to leave. What a waste.

The FOX theatre is an incredible theatre. We are all fortunate it was restored to its Glory. The Lion King play was also a feast for the eyes and ears all night long.

Beautiful place! I can't believe that it's almost 100 years old!
Restroom stall does could use some work, but everything else is immaculate! I just with people would have more respect at theatres, I mean how hard is it to carry your food and drink garbage to a freaking trashcan, right outside the door!?!!? Huh?

I have loved the experience of the Fox for 40 years. Whether it's a concert or theater, I am never disappointed. Sound, lighting, service and quality of events never disappoints.

It is pricey, but well worth the experience. Great seating, good food and a phenomenal date night spot.

I saw several shows here with Hamilton and Jill Scott being my most recent...it was AMAZING! Nice facility and staff. Very clean and beautiful theater.

I had a great time at the Fox Theatre! Went to the Mariah Carey concert and she shut the place down. Everyone was very friendly and the Theatre was clean. I especially enjoyed the service at Marquee Club. I only wished I got a better seat but that was my fault. Looking forward to attending another event here, soon!!

This is a beautiful theater. Whatever the type of show you are attending there are seats appropriate for a great experience. Parking is a challenge. Rideshare to the show. They drop off and pickup in front.

Love the shows, not a fan of the line for the restroom.

I love The Fox Theatre, there are almost no bad seats in the house. Great for any shows upcloese and personal.

A beautiful building. I'm happy that Atlanta saved it. I've been there several times and have always enjoyed every visit and hope to go again.

Too expensive. Beautiful, but you can't see well from every seat.

Event was OK.
Theatre itself, as grand as it is, leaves much to be desired.
When doors open, (if you arrive early) patrons are NOT allowed to their assigned seats. You are forced to stand in a packed lobby. In our attempted to wait outside, was informed we would not be granted reentry .
It was quite evident, they wanted you to spend money while waiting, i.e. a bottle was water was $ 5.00
Suspect, this was first & last time we will be attending any event at this location.

Always clean. Ushers and staff are polite and helpful. I have seen tons of shows here and I'm a season tickets holder. Parking is very close but expensive.

Saw danandphil there. And i love it. Also it was very big and impressive. The roof was so pretty

I have seen five shows here and they have all been great. The staff is always helpful and the restoration work is just awe inspiring.

My school went to the Fox in a field trip to see the play, Freedom Train. We had a great time!

Oh my gosh. This venue is beautiful. It added so much to the performance. We will continue to drive down from Tennessee to see shows here.

love seeing the performing arts show in fox theater they put on great shows

Show was great, "Hamilton", however, I had a difficulty understanding words the first half.

I love this venue! Right near everything, always parking available..if the price is right. They have very helpful staff members; the seating is comfortable; and the temperature is always comfortable. The shows I ve been here to see have all been reasonably priced and well executed.

A visit to the Fox is always welcome. Went to see Wicked here with a special someone. Since I wanted to make it a special night we did the Marquee Club which was great! A bit pricey but the food, service and drinks are top notch. For a special night this was a great option and I have no regrets. I would definitely do it again and look forward to it soon.

Nice venue, but absolutely HORRIBLE setting set up. Rows are entirely too close, and if you're over 5'8, prepare to be uncomfortable.

Huge venue! We came from out of town and ended up sitting pretty far back, but it was really easy to see the whole stage and was definitely worth the money. I can t imagine there s a bad seat in the house!

Saw COME FROM AWAY, the Fox acoustics are difficult for sound engineers to balance. Show started with some issues but they were quickly resolved. It always feels like you're entering a time machine at this picturesque venue. I see new details every time.

Awesome place but if you ever get have parking and have a vehicle more then 8 ft clearance advise them

Great theater, though parking is a bit of a pain--lots and decks around the theater are anywhere from $20-40, some of which are cash only, and street parking will pretty difficult to get. If you can take MARTA, park at a friend's place and take Lyft, etc. life will be a lot easier for you.

There are also two entrances to get into the theater, the main entrance and a side entrance, so check both to see which has a shorter line.

Never a Miss and never a bad experience. Keep coming back for more.
