The Fabulous Fox Theater is always so beautiful! Every time I've been there it is an honor to be able to enjoy just being in this amazing palace, plus the events are always great. It is a wonderful venue in every way.

Absolutely stunning theater. Sat in the "cheap seats" to see Cats. Having had that experience, I really and truly believe there is not a bad seat in the house.

Also, word of wisdom: unless you reallllly want to, don't drink alcohol there. It's ungodly expensive ($15 single pours). Get a drink at one of the great bars a short walking distance from the Fox. The wine is not good. Liquors are standard varieties. However, the non-alcoholic drinks are pretty reasonably priced.

This place is beautiful. I purchased tickets for the Blues Concert and was not disappointed. Although the place is huge, there was no wait for the bathroom because there were several to choose from. The bathrooms were clean and fully More

So stunning. I teared up, this place is just breath taking. My husband took me to fulfill my childhood dream of seeing the Nutcracker! Beautiful performance. Last year it will be put on at the fox I'm told, so feeling blessed!

The theater itself was great and we received an upgraded ticket to the Marque Club @ the door. They served complimentary hors d'oeuvres including non-alcoholic beverages and desserts during intermission. The club has 3 levels including a rooftop level. Didn't care for the show I saw...left 20-minutes into it. Besides that, I'm sure a different show would have made the entire experience great!

I was very uncomfortable in the tiny chairs and felt like I had no leg space and I am only 5'5". Also, it was so warm that I had to fan myself the entire show and there is no place to put your drink.

Always love going to the Fox Theater to see shows! Smaller venue which gives you a more personal experience! Was disappointed that they had such a small selection of alcohol, I seem to remember that they had more choices in the past!

I could not actually see most of the performances, because of the way the seating is designed. When people were standing which was through the majority of the show you can not see the stage.

To see any performance at The Fox is an experience in itself. The ambience is incredible. No matter where you sit, you will have an excellent view of the stage. The acoustics are such that sound carries to your seat effectively. Simply put, the theater is an excellent facility for artistic performances and music concerts.

This was our first experience at the Fox Theatre. My wife and I came to see Wicked, which was fantastic. First, this theare is beautiful on the inside. The dark decor and the theatre layout make for a very nice and interesting environment. I was very fascinated by the ornate details all around the theatre - from the main theatre hall to the bathrooms downstairs, there is plenty to catch your attention.

My only and quite significant complaint about this venue is the seating, which for many people equates to staring at the back of a head for 3 hours. My wife and I are both quite tall - her 5'11 and me 6'2 - but, despite our height, we found ourselves craning and stretching to see the stage. This was unfortunate, because we had what seemed to be quite good seats - very close to the stage (Row R - left of theatre). We heard quite a deal of complaining from those sitting around us about not being able to see as well. At one point, we became so frustraited by the craning and stretching obscuring the stage in front of us, that we contemplated leaving or standing at the rear of the theatre.

All in all, I would say that the Fox Theatre is a must see. There is plenty to look at while you are here and the historical relevance alone makes this a hot spot. With the praises aside, I would say that a seating overhaul would benefit the viewer's experience dramatically - I feel safe in saying that it currently teeters on ruining some viewer's experiences. I will likely be back in the future, though I think I will shoot a bit harder for a isle end in the front of the balcony.

P.S. Wicked was fantastic.

My first time at the Fox Theater seeing A Perfect Circle for the first time... Beautiful theater, such class, style and organized skillfully. The staff were delightful! Definitely recommend this theater. Such a fond memory made possible by all involved. Thank you!

Only reason for 3 stars is we went to see Teresa from new York to see if she could hear from my parents or son who just passed and she did not make it to where we sat. Other than that lovely place and great help to our aeats

Beautiful theater. I've been several times now. However, there didn't seem to be any police or real security present outside and around parking areas. My mother and I were harrassed verbally and sexually not once but twice while walking to and from the theater (parked just across the street). Literally had had an altercation with a very bold homeless man. Yet no police in sight for a major event. The theater parking was $25-30 but no security or traffic attendant helping cars to disperse. A homeless man was directing traffic. Overall nice theater but no security measures in place for patrons (and no the young college kid or the retired grandmother in the yellow security jacket at the front door doesn't count).

If you're going for a concert I think any seat in the house would be a great one. If you're going to see a play or musical then it's imperative you sit somewhere in the middle of the theater, or you will be disappointed for missing parts of the show when the actors are staged in the corner of the stage. I have to rate it 3 stars on those factors, but the place itself is beautiful and you should take the tour but be aware of the seating.

Went to a show for the first time in September 2017. It was amazing.

I've been to prom here in 2008 (amazing event) and I've hosted an org event here with my associations (the last one was in 2016 with AMA).

Great venue, great staff, great food, great experience.

Yeah they are definitely at the top in terms of the events they host, nice central location, reasonable and affordable ticket prices, probably the best known Atlanta landmark, something you just have to experience. The parking situation overall isn't very convenient at all and just top that off with tons of showtime traffic congestion turned gridlock when the show lets out. Yes, i know it's a historical venue but just the overall ambiance is very aged they need to update or keep it up a little better. The seating was cramped with those flip down metal movie theater seats from wayyy back in the day, I'm like 6'1 and entire show my knees slammed into the seat in front of me. Didn't expect the seats to be anywhere near how extremely uncomfortable they were.

Always a great experience We love the Fox. NOT THIS TIME...This time they did not allow phones and they give you a pouch this type of security had everyone standing outside in the rain with the show start without 1/2 the audience if they're doing that for everyshow now it needs to say so online before you purchase tickets. We left early to avoid the crowds and repeating the process in reverse. We arrive an hour before the show started and missed the first hour good thing those tix were gifted to us but someone paid for us to see a show we couldn't really fully enjoy.

This venue is Atlanta's signature venue location which is at the heart of the city: Historic Downtown Atlanta. Simply put, we love this location. We've experienced the Soul Train music awards, Earth Wind & Fire and last but not least the amazing performance of Anita Baker. The Fox Theatre gets a standing ovation..
