A run down hotel. It served it's time. Need serious renovation. No subscription TV , LOW resolution, USB. Need smart rooms. Customer service is superb , price is fantastic. Internet speed is ok for the most part. Cleanliness is good.

Grand Wayne Center is very nice and very well maintained. There are able host large groups, serving food and drinks quickly and efficiently. Acoustics could be a little more closely monitored as the music was too loud to talk over.

This hotel is situated downtown Fort Wayne. It's walking distance to cool places to go out to/dine.
It's a typical business hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service.
Parking is across the street and is not free.
It's also not bike-friendly: no storage to lock up our bikes. So we had to take them to our rooms (not leaving expensive bikes outside, like the hotel staff suggested).
For the state/city, this hotel is overpriced.

Probably the nicest Holton I have stayed at. The only issue I had with the hotel is the fact that even with the do not disturb sign up, the cleaning crew still comes in to the room. I was asleep at 10 am and the cleaning lady is standing over me asking me if I want new towels. I think it's amazing that they want to do there job... but you don't enter a room with a do not disturb sign....

This is a nicely maintained older Hotel with a friendly staff. The room was comfortable and very nice. If wifi is important then they offer a free slow service with a daily fee for full. That's my only negative, that they do not have a free wifi amenity that's always in every motel on the highway.

Well the reserver on the phone assured my stay wouldn't be deducted till we left so we went ahead and booked on Thursday had to drive an hour home to check in the next day. The lady that night was very rude when I asked to buy a 6 pack 10 minutes after the bar closed and the pool was a mess...they've definitely skanked up a bit

Strange configuration of the bathroom in the room, but it might just have been in our room. Lack of services was disappointing, but totally out of their control. If you're staying downtown, it's certainly a good choice; reasonably priced and easy access to a wide area.

Had breakfast and dinner at Features Restaurant inside the Hilton. All you can eat breakfast was a great value, dinner was tasty, but a little pricier. Service was very friendly, but occasionally a bit slow.

We've made three recent trips to Ft. Wayne to visit elderly relatives and each time we've stayed at the Hilton. After a long travel day, we were greeted with a smile, our room was ready, clean, and comfortable. Our meal in the dining room on the first evening was sooooo delicious that we ate there the entire weekend. Actually, the restaurant was the reason we booked our second and third stays there. The duck entree with the coleslaw with candied walnuts and ginger dressing was the best ever. We asked to compliment the chef personally (I think his name is John) - what a polite and competent young man. If Hilton is smart, it'll support John's efforts to be the best chef possible. He deserves a raise and respect. As long as John is chef, we'll continue to stay at the Hilton when in Ft. Wayne. (One negative - turn down the hotel lobby music, it's too loud and annoying - and find something else without lyrics, maybe classical or new age.

Great place, rooms were great. Second room was pretty useless as a room on its own, was just a living/dining room. No extra bathroom, sofa was a pull out so that was nice. The fact it was part of the convention center though was a huge bonus.

The room was very good. The only thing I really love about that place is the Chef. Chef Richie, he let me cook with him I have never met a chef like him that let a kid cook with him. He taught me some cooking trick thank you Chef Richie.

Where do i begin? One night at a downtown hotel was mediocre at best. Upon registering, the gentleman was kind and efficient. That was the end of anyone being courteous.
People running up and down the halls until 2am and the sound of trucks backing up with their beepers starting at 6:30am made it a very short night's sleep. As a woma with MS, this makes it for a difficult day 1/3 of the elevators in non working order makes for a extended waiting time. This had to be the smallest bathroom I have ever encountered in a 3 star hotel. It was clean so i was more than happy to trade size for hygiene. Check out is 12pm but housekeeping comes knocking on the door at 9am. The next time i go to the Fort for a much needed night away with my husband, Hilton at the Grand Wayne Center will not be seeing me unless they see me walking past on the sidewalk.

They really take care of Hhonors Diamonds. The room is well appointed. the fresh remodel brought refrigerators to all the rooms, and the beds are much improved. Truly one of the best properties in the Hilton system

This is one of the least convenient hotels I have ever stayed at. With no direct parking structure (it is a public parking facility across a busy street with a skyway). The skyway connects to the second floor of the hotel which requires not just the trip from wherever you manage to park to the 3rd level of the parking structure. Across the skyway. Across a large lobby to the elevator. Then down the elevator to the front desk. This is then repeated for each trip to your vehicle. Then there is the breakfast fiasco. The servers run around almost begging the patrons to use the buffet instead of from the dismal menu. I was seated and had the buffet one morning. I finished my meal and server came and removed the extra place settings from my table without a word and gave them to a newly seated table. When she asked for my unused coffee cup I said "sure, as no one bothered to offer me coffee I have no use for it". She said thank you and whisked it away. Even the elevators are tired and rattley with shabby carpet. The room was ok so I gave the place a 3 but my experience was a 2. So unless you absolutely must be right downtown in Fort Wayne, give it a pass.

As far as I'm concerned, great hotel. As a former employee, I saw first-hand how well maintained this location is. I do apologize to my former co-workers for my erratic and unpredictable behaviour. I was going through quite a few personal problems at the time.

Good hotel and clean rooms. My only complaint is that the elevators feel shoddy and make me nervous when ridden. They are probably safe, they just spark my fear of falling more than other vertical transportation methods.
