Very beautiful peaceful place. Tour of the house was awesome

Went to a homeschool class, thoroughly enjoyed the class with my granddaughter. Hoping to take some adult classes as well. What a beautiful facility.

Promotes good husbandry of woodlands, protection of species and education.

Great place to get back to nature and learn amazing facts about our world.

What a shame that they felt it necessary to charge admission.

Beautiful during warmer months, they have several different "habitats" very LARGE park

Beautiful place...I grew up in the area and always enjoyed taking my dogs and hiking. So sad they are charging so much now. I am sure this really limits the accessibility to many families whose children could benefit. Really disappointing.

Great location to just relax while walking. Take in nature.

One of the most beautiful places around. Plenty to do and see. Kids love climbing the tower and running around. Great special events throughout the year.

It cost $10 dollars per adult and $5 per child. Don't let the cost keep you out. The place is beautiful with plenty of views to take in and lots of trails to walk. Great for any nature lover.

One of the jewels of central Ohio! Miles of walking very pleasant paths, or drive through slowly in your car. Lovely trees and educational collections of plants.

Beautiful clear day at Dawes! The sun shining on the water in the pond in the Japanese Garden added a magical touch. The lake was blue and peaceful. We enjoyed driving the through and hopping out for the sights.

I am 39 years old and grew up going to Dawes. I've been a visitor my entire life, and moved to Florida 13 years ago but visit Dawes every time I come home to see my family. Today I was very disappointed while in town and looking forward to enjoying my favorite place to hear that it was going to now be a $15 charge for myself and my 6 year old son to visit... I spent my paycheck to get our plane tickets and cannot afford to spend that amount of money on a park ill only drive thru and be done within 2 hours... I could understand maybe $5 per car but $15???!!! That's outrageous! Growing up, we had no money and Dawes was the only place we could enjoy... It's not worth $15 so i guess my story at Dawes has come to an end after 39 years. Really disappointing. Shame on you, Dawes!

Beautiful grounds, pretty plants, nice hiking on the East side, and hardly any people. Excellent place and peaceful.

There are miles of trails, both paved and un-paved... and such beautiful scenery - in every season!

All I can say is pay the membership fee. This place is an absolute goldmine of information and serenity, it takes more than donations to keep it that way. Every season, every visit, I learn something new.

Beautiful and massive arboretum, well cared for and well worth the modest price. There are a lot of walking and driving trails.

Been going here sinc I was little. It's beautiful in every season and there are always public activities. Main office has a snack bar and a learning center for kids.

Best tree park ever! Many trails for hiking, dog on leash friendly (please cleanup after your pet!) , interesting classes and educational programs, great for a picnic or a quiet stroll. Membership is worth it. We love this beautiful Arboretum.

Very serene and a great moment to meditate and walk a path that encircles a small pond. Perfect little shelter to sit and ponder life. The person that showed me the place, really appreciated balancing rocks on their sides.

Beautiful and we'll kept grounds. A large variety of plants, trees, some ponds, and great spots to take photos.

I love taking long walks at Dawes and enjoy the trees and bushes and plants. I specially like the Cypress pathway and looking for frogs, and salamanders in the spring. I appreciate the labels for the trees so you can tell which ones you might like to plant in your own yard. Also, you can walk there anytime because they have Woodland paths if it's dry or asphalt if it's wet. It's also a good place to do bird watching.

I love Dawes Arboretum. I never have enough time to spend there.

My wife and I have enjoyed the beauty of Silence of the park for many many years. We watch the trees grow and the Latin be cultivated and nurtured. As Travelers we say was great pleasure doors or burritos is it little known treasure on the landscape of Ohio

I was 13 when my grandmother first brought me to Dawes arboretum and I fell in love with it instantly. I'm grown now, and tradition continued, as I brought my young brother here. He fell in love too, and will continually asks me to bring him back again and again. Nature is beautiful, as is the trails and gardens. Once you enter this wonderful place, you will never want to leave.

What a beautiful, relaxing place. Our family loved it so much that we said we would gladly go back up there to visit again.

We had a wonderful time taking pictures and have a fall picnic with our church small group. It was a little cool but after all it is fall. Had a hood time.

The tower is great here at the arboretum it gives you great views and photo opportunities as well as seeing the shrubs spell out Dawes Arboretum and has 2 lower levels as well

One of my favorite places to get out in nature and "get away from it all." Beautiful views all around. My favorite part is the Japanese Garden area. It is so serene and peaceful.

Its always a wonderful place to just take a walk. Sadly I will not be going there when they start charging $10 just to go take a walk next year.

There is so much to explore at the Dawes Arboretum. The Japanese garden, Pershing Avenue (go in the spring) a wildflower prairie, and a Cypress swamp that is active in late winter/early spring as the salamanders migrate. The Dawes family home is beautifully maintained and tours are offered throughout the year (non-Covid years), or you can sign up for an on site class (again non-Covid). Dawes harvests and sells maple syrup (late winter) and is a popular spot for birding, fishing and hiking. It's lovely all year around.

I'm only 25 miles from this place but everytime I go there there's always something new I haven't seen it's a must stop if you've never been here and prepare for the entire day because you still won't see everything

I found Dawes Arboretum by accident 40 years ago. It is my most favorite place in the country to me. I have been through the house and went to the cemetery. They also have a great bonsai display. The spring house had the best water. All in all, there is no other park etc. better than Dawes Arboretum.

Very spectacular views but the crowds can drive you nuts on the weekends. The addition of portapotties at the main stops are very helpful.

Beautiful place. You can tell they put most or all of the admission fees back into the property.

Dawe's Arboretum is the best place in the area for those who enjoy walking and being out in nature. It is incredibly well-maintained, and there is a bathroom and gift shop onsite.

A beautiful well cared for and diverse arboretum with paths, a drive, visitors center and much more. One should visit often.

This place is amazing, the staff were helpful, and the pictures don't do it justice. If you like going on nature hikes then this is the place for you.

This gigantic arboretum is a great resource for photographers. Tons of separate gardens and little areas tucked throughout the property. There are a lot of events they host here, too. You could spend the whole day walking around here and still have more to discover for next time.

Dawes is a really wonderful place that I have great memories of from the past 20 years. Now I take my kids so they make memories too. Almost unlimited learning opportunities as well.
