My interactions with the staff were amazing, especially Donovan with security. They were always professional with me. I got to see the Christmas elegance with the different Christmas trees. Each tree was unique and had its own beauty. The history at this location is also very interesting. The great team of employees really shows their experience, great job everyone.
A great historic landmark. Fantastic restoration & maintenance. It is a Marriott property & the service is commensurate with top end Marriott.
My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I spend over 90 nights in a hotel a year and this hotel was very good compared to most. The staff was friendly the room was clean and the restaurants were excellent.
Everything about the Davenport was amazing. Friendly staff, great food, and amazing bed
Did not honor room reserved, jetted tub spewed out mold and filth. All they gave was excuses. No customer service received, I chose to leave and not stay in that nastiness.
Excellence and luxury everywhere you look. Incredible attention to detail, and lovely customer service. And of course, the hotel is stunning!
If you have kids, the suites are great, and often relatively inexpensive in the off season, since they have 3 hotels within blocks. The others are themed.
We love this place great happy hour and the beds in the rooms are so comfortable you sleep like a baby.
What a beautiful hotel. Love the architecture and central location.
My room was very spacious, clean and well equipped.
The mattresses are very comfortable but too high for a short person to climb up, needed a stepping stool.
Classy and beautiful. A great find in a great town.
The beds here are so comfy! The rooms are nice but food can cost you some bucks. Parking costs $17 for the night if you are a Davenport guest and $20 at a public parking. Bring money.
Always a wonderful experience at The Davenport. We had appetizers and drinks at the Palm Court bar and the service was fantastic despite having to work on Christmas Eve. The decorations were stunning, as always!
Let me start by saying we have been staying at the Historic Davenport approximately two times a year for around 15 years. Taking a calculator to the total expenditures over the years including room, dining, parking and purchases in the gift shop, our expenditures reach nearly $100,000. I would say that makes us pretty loyal customers and someone who has a good grasp on the type of service they typically offer. Our prior visit was not so great and after being put in a room this time that smelled like a dog kennel, that was it! To top it off, we tried to make a purchase in the gift shop and asked for them to ship it to our home (most nice hotels gladly provide this personalized service), we were rudely told if we want it shipped, go to the UPS store and do it yourself. Wow .
When we spoke to management about the issues including how the gift shop manager treated us, they just brushed us off. Unfortunately, the magic is gone at the Davenport. They have no interest in providing the service Walt Worthy and Louis Davenport became known for. I am betting they have been taken over by a large national chain. I told the manager we were going to write a google review of our experience. She said Oh it won t matter because no one really pays attention to reviews . You and I know that is not true! I would highly recommend thinking twice before spending the extra money to stay at the Historic Davenport. Not sure it's worth it!
Great place to hangout, super welcoming environment and the tour is awesome and super informational. Super fun to visit in early December to see all of the Christmas trees.
Amazing and beautiful building and surrounding city!
Spa was great, nice clean rooms, great location and food.
My fiance and I try to stay here once a year even though we live in Spokane it's a great little getaway!
Mr. Hail at the concierge desk during check in last night was awesome! He definitely knows how to make the guests feel welcome and relaxed during check in! Thank you!
Wow! Great service. One of a kind place. Really enjoyed the poll and hot tub.
Most wonderful hotel ever!!! Historical landmark. Beautiful . Elegant. Warm and friendly. Not stuffy. Most beautiful bed ever! Mattress was so comfortable!! Will most definitely be going back. Next time for atleast two nights. All the staff was warm and friendly . The staff in the lounge was exceptionally helpful and actually kind!
Highly recommend the Sunday Brunch. Great food in a nice setting and every member of the staff was a pleasure to interact with.
Such a great hotel! It's beautiful and has tons of history. Almost like stepping back in time.
Exactly what you want out of a non-chain (but Marriott-affiliated) hotel. Great service with local, historical charm and thoughtfully planned rooms.
My husband and I were given a night here in a penthouse suite. The room was comfortable and the service impeccable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was so delicious and again, service impeccable; no, better than expected. They went above and beyond.
This is my second time staying here and I am still absolutely loving this beautiful hotel
It's like walking into a castle and the staff are welcoming and kind. Can't wait to go back
105 year old hotel still looks brand new ! Impeccable service!!!
What an amazing hotel and conference space! World class!
No longer can make reservations for meals unless your party is six or over. I think the food has gone down hill recently, but you can't beat the location! It's beautiful!
Amazing room and bed is amazing. Spa was amazing and definitely recommend.
There's a stairway that goes into a ceiling. Lots of history. Great place for photos! Delightful place to explore! Love to tour places like this.
I had a wonderful night. I enjoyed the old architecture of this beautiful building. I had a nice view of the old Steam Plant. I slept great, the bed was very comfortable! I look foward to staying again!
NOTHING I CAN WRITE WILL EVER DO.
ONE MUST SIMLPY EXPERIENCE IT FOR ONE'S SELF.
We were there having drinks and appetizers, the food is good. The service not that good. Beth N needs to work on her customer service. We will be back but hope not to have her as a server.
Incredible historic (not just old) hotel from 1912. The facility is updated, modern, immaculate and still true and original. Its truly impressive. From the exterior thru the reception, lobby, elevators hallways and to the rooms. Highly detailed finishes that are true to the period of its heritage, while having well done modern comforts of wifi, walkin showers, lighting, bedding, charging and tv (for folks that still watch tv/cable).
The customer service is top notch and genuine from the valet, front desk, coffee shop, conference support staff, and every other staffer i was in contact with. Truly a Wonderful experience!
Great service! The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Beautiful historic property!
Wonderful food and a glimps into the era that once was and brought back to life!
Gorgeous hotel.. first time staying since it's been restored. Wow what a feat. Really enjoyed the room and the staff was terrific
Beautiful Hotel I feel like The Grand Hotel of The secret of the nile

The lunch at Palm Court was fantastic we had the coconut shrimp really good
Gorgous hotel. Love it during Christmas time that they do the tree of elegance it is our family tradition although we never win.
This is such a wonderful historic hotel in the heart of downtown. I really appreciate they're approach to green living as well. Great place with a wonderful staff.
Breathtaking, amazing and historic. When in Spokane and must seeyou may want to consider staying the night in one of their luxurious rooms.
Great for cozy getaways, not as well suited for large groups. Lovely setting!!
I think out of the many hotels that I've stayed at around the world, this would have to be one of my most favourite. I love everything about it. The decor, the comfort, the service... I can't fault it.
Beautiful hotel inside and out!
Parking garage right next door.
Starbucks & dining on site.
This would be my top choice if I return to the area.
Had drinks at the post street ale house. No complaints about my experience.
Great venue, great service. Always makes you feel special to visit this place.
We had breakfast there which was excellent and we toured the 2nd floor balcony and rooms and went to the gift shop.
everything about our experience was wonderful during our visit. The welcome was superb. We took full advantage of all the hotel had to offer and thoroughly enjoyed the turndown service and the peanut brittle left on our pillows. The shower and the bathtub were incredibly nice and modern and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel houses a restaurant, gift shops, coffee bar and numerous other amenities. The location is also very good and close to many points of interest of the city. Highly recommend a stay here.
Oh my, gorgeous hotel restored to the 1900s period. History presented throughout the hotel. Ballrooms open for viewing. Christmas decor was outstanding. Wonderful food in all the restaurants, real creations for the tastebuds. Restaurants and bar face the downtown for views. Effecient , friendly service. My room was very large and furnished w/elegant, period furniture. The full bathtub was 6' long for a great bath experience. Separate, huge shower. Conceirge service, valet parking. A wonderful Christmas holiday at great prices. A home store on premises to recreate your experience from the Davenport to your home. Beds, bedding etc available for purchase. Flower shop. A TV channel dedicated to the history, by PBS.
Our stay was good very polite staff, amazing architecture. I would say the carpet I know that is weird but it needs updating it s not as plush as nice hotels we stay at normally. Pillows also not dense enough. Those where the only things part my fault as I normally bring my own pillow. Would pay 60 more for those two things.
Great Historic Hotel with beautiful architecture. The rooms are beautiful with period wood furniture. Highly recommend.
It's beautiful and romantic, but did not meet all of my needs for a venue.
Always like staying at the Davenport - the historic hotel. Beds are great, rooms are big, you can feel a little like a gilded age tycoon. Everything works in the hotel and the staff is friendly and competent. Well located for your business in downtown Spokane. Pretty reasonable on price given the premium experience.
Great atmosphere & friendly service at the Peacock Lounge.
The staff were friendly, willing to offer details about the hotel's history, and in gemerald very friendly. Lunch in the Elizabethen Room was delicious, with some of the best salmon I've had in a long time.
It was very impressive and also very clean. I enjoyed it a lot
Lovely dinner in the Palm Court restaurant. Exquisite halibut accompanied by superior service (thank you Justin!) and overnight at the Davenport Lusso in comfort and luxury.
One of the great luxury hotels in the PNW. Stay here every time I get a chance. You should too!
