The Davenport Hotel and Tower Review

The hotel is very nice: clean rooms, comfortable bed, good service, and the Safari Room has delicious food and drink at a reasonable price. The pool/hot tub could use some help. There was a definite film on the surface of the hot tub and the whole pool deck experience is basically like a community center pool.

Prime location downtown. Nice rooms, though relatively small with no real sitting area (just two uncomfortable chairs). No fridge, which is pretty inconvenient.

I went to the tower for my anniversary with my wife. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. The room was phenomenal everything was absolutely beautiful. However, prices on everything from a bottle of water to room service or a little over-the-top. All the staff members were very friendly and polite! All in all the only thing u really have to worry about is the prices everything else is out standing!

This hotel has always been a must see when in Spokane, and the accommodations are beyond expectation.

The hotel was stunning. Clean, comfortable and cool. Zero complaints here.

The parking costs $17 bucks for self park (across the street) and $22 for valet. Not a pleasant surprise.

The Davenport Tower is a very nice, safari themed hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the big shower room was nice. I also appreciated the quality L'Occitane toiletries. It was an enjoyable stay.

Anniversary celebration brought us to the Davenport Tower. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and it was worth every penny. Spacious room with a big Jacuzzi tub for two.

I had a great experience and stay at the Davenport Tower! The staff were very friendly, and the lobby and rooms are really nice! I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, and the beds are some of the most comfortable I ve slept in at a hotel! I would definitely recommend!

I would not stay here again. The hotel is "green" so the A/C won't stay on and the room was very hot. The restaurant was overpriced for what you got.

Was a nice hotel in a prime location within walking distance of various restaurants and the Falls. The hotel is historic with a large and lively lobby/lounge area including your standard bar/restaurant. The food was good but a little pricey, as is standard with most hotel restaurants. There is a Starbucks in the lobby as well for the early risers. The rooms were nice and decent size. The one disappointment is that the Pool/Hot Tub closes at 10pm and my colleagues and I were promptly shown the door by hotel staff, just so they could clean the floor. Other than the Pool/Spa experience, staff seemed very nice and welcoming.

Ironing Set review (for the business traveler)

Ironing Board (8 out of 10): Was a large board, good fabric that wasn't as thin as it looked.

Iron (7 out of 10): The iron had some hard water stains but did not stain my clothes when I pushed the steam button. It took a little bit to fully heat up but it was overall above average.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is great, bar was a lot of fun and the food is good. Nice gym and pool area.

Just across from the original Davenport, the Tower offers a more modern, spacious decor. The lobby bar/restaurant is always buzzing. Rooms are a good size, nicely furnished.

Used to be better but now the rooms have tile floors and it adds too much noise. Plus the AC is humid and won't go below 65 which means 72ish at a hotel.

Great hotel but not for business professionals.

I liked this hotel, staff were great, room was clean, excellent shower amenities but I will not be coming back for business travel. The walls were very thin and I could hear the family next to me all night watching a movie. They gym was small for a hotel of this size and was overpacked from 5-7, many people were standing around waiting for a spot to open up. The room service was excellent, I had salmon and one of their mini desserts. Be prepared for $22 per night valet (which is common is cities). Decorations were zoo themed.

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because there isn't refrigerator is and a microwave in each room. Yoiu can rent them, but in a hotel this nice I'd expect them to be included.

Not sure what the safari theme has to do with a hotel but it's a good hotel regardless.

Entire hotel was immaculate and the staff including front desk, valet, and bar & restaurant employees could not have been better. Beds are amazing and AC etc works wonderfully. Minus 1 star only for the room,placement, smaller than most here and view South isn't the best. Also the light fixture was unimpressive. Petty unimportant items. Excellent hotel! Highly recommend it. Just ask for particular room.

Wow! They have beautiful and large rooms. The staff are professional and friendly. You should definitely consider a stay here.

The Safari lounge has a great happy hour. Half price flat bread and drinks. Good prices on scotch during happy hour. Service was friendly but a little slow.

What can I say. Davenport hotels are the only place to stay. If ro.antic or first time stay at historic. If quaint is your style stay at Lusso. If modern clean, stay at the newest. Me I stay at tower. Safari themed. Spacious and fun . Key here is the happy hour and food in kitchen. Get the dry ribs and wine list is amazing

Friendly staff, responsive and attentive. Rooms are comfortable and the beds are great. It's our new go to in Spokane.

Beautiful place, courteous staff, friendly smiles, prompt service, respectful personnel...this is the place to go.

What a strangely decorated place. Safari themed... really. With a real stuffed tiger (from a zoo). Bronze rhinos and whatnot. Not the oddest thing I've seen in Spokane, but it comes close. Comfy bed and pillows though. Good location.

My husband and I stayed here in an attempt to salvage and recover from a very disappointing vacation. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and the amenities were just what we needed.

The hotel is nice, but the customer service is awful. I've stayed here several times for business and on one occasion had to cancel my reservation due to a medical emergency. Rather than cancel my whole reservation (two nights) the receptionist cancelled only one night and then charged me for the other night plus the $150 cancellation fee. I understand that that may have been a mistake, however, I have now called four times, left messages, and spoken to four different people - all of whom forward me to a voicemail. They have been rude on the phone and no one has returned any of my calls. I've also emailed twice just requesting a receipt. It's been over a month now. This is extremely frustrating and not at all the type of service I would expect from a luxury hotel.

A sophisticated safari themed hotel in downtown Spokane WA. Good amenities and service. Quiet rooms. Oddly herbal smelling soaps.

Rooms were clean and smelled fresh and the beds were super comfortable but I guess the safari theme wasn't quite for me

This was our first visit to the Davenport Towers. It's a great hotel with wonderful rooms, great decor and a friendly staff. Definitely coming back.

Parking was annoying to find but the hotel service and room was great. The bar in the lobby has great food.

Super comfortable beds, and nice amenities. Jungle/safari themed, which is a bit odd, but it was not bad. Great location.

Stay at the Davenport Lusso instead! Much better services and in room amenities than this over the top safari themed Trump-esque property. Definitely will NOT stay here again.

Great service. I like that each of the Davenports has a different theme, but the great service extends to all the hotels.

Rooms are great showers are huge the hotel is right in the middle of downtown and the staff are super frendly and helpfull

Nice hotel in the center. Cleaning is not their forte. No one has ever cleaned the floor in a week! However the structure is beautiful and so are the rooms

Hotel is located near EVERYTHING. Walked to the Falls and Carosel.

The room was very clean, and had was comfortable. Service was top notch. It was great with how close it was to down town Spokane

This is a great hotel, fantastic service, and the location is perfect for access to several restaurants and shopping. Will be back.

I love the elegance of the hotel. I would suggest adding a continental breakfast.

As always the atmosphere is always so beautiful. We dined in the Safari room and the food was just average. We enjoyed our stay, but I would say the indoor pool is a bit chilly.

This is an amazing hotel. Fancy and the staff are very helpful and kind.

Hotel staff were attentive and excellent from housekeeping and valet to front desk and restaurant staff! Food and drinks were on par and the hotel was lavishly decorated in the safari theme. Rooms were very clean and pillows were so soft. We will definitely be staying with them again!

This is a hotel you have to stay at when in Spokane!
