The Davenport Tower is the perfect combination of a great location and great accommodations. The staff here is consistently helpful and always works hard to make your stay pleasant. The food is excellent and a great value for the price.

The Davenport Tower is one of the best hotels in Spokane. Good sized rooms compared to the other Davenport options, nice fitness center, and conveniently located. Only negative is that with the plethora of Davenport options, you have too much to choose from under the Davenport umbrella. I've stayed at the Davenport Hotel, Lusso, and Tower and Tower is now my favorite.
The Room was on the 15th floor and was clean. There was a nice stainless steel bucket with lid for the ice but where you got the ice was not made clear. The staff were friendly though and when asked a question they were helpful. The view was ok but not as good during the day as during the night time. The other expectations of a high end Hotel were good with the exception of the fact that there was no refrigerator to keep my leftover $92 meal from the high end restaurant cold. I gave this place a 4 star rating because a 3 star rating would have been to low and not a fair rating.
Luxorious and nice but service is a little whack, they messed up reservations for a suite put us in a regular room when I specifically booked honeymoon suite and a little spendy
We stayed here for a night over a long road trip and it was excellent. The staff went above and beyond. We we're celebrating my baby's first birthday and they helped us find a candle and lighter to light the candle, they were warm and friendly from check in to check out. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. I would go back.
Fantastic hotel. The service staff are very friendly, always available. The room we took was very well done, clean, with a nice view of outer spokane. The best/ restaurant delivered excellent food and drinks in a time fashion by attentive wait staff. We look forward to staying here again the next time we visit spokane.
General manager was extremely rude Room supposed to have Jacuzzi that's what being advertised on priceline She did nothing to help us all of this pictures with crack and the wall holes in wall hair in sync foot Print on the floor horrible conditions to stay
Beautiful interior decor in the lobby and rooms. The lobby includes a coffee shop and small seat yourself eatery. We enjoyed our breakfast at the eatery. The waitress was very knowledgable about what vegan options were available. The mimosas are quite generous and the breakfast meals were reasonably priced. Would recommend this hotel if you find yourself in the area.
The bed was very comfy but the hotel was kinda dirty. Housekeeping came by and made the bed, but that's pretty much it. They left the dirty dishes from room service, Left dirty napkins on the ground with the unwashed towels (which were piled neatly by the door). There was also dirty dishes --AND NOT OUR DIRTY DISHES-- piled outside of our door in the hallway when we checked in. We stayed three days, The dirty dishes were there when we checked out. When I politely mentioned the dirty dishes to the front desk while checking out. They asked me why I didn't tell anyone about them sooner. I simply asked if that was the guests job while staying? I was really looking forward to staying at the Davenport due to its reputation. My first and possibly only stay there was not as I had hoped.
We booked a room for after a friends wedding. The one bed corner room on the 21st floor was fantastic. We had a great night and I thought all was well. We had a couple of gift cards to use and put them towards our room at checkout. About a week later I noticed I was charged the entire room cost on my credit card statement. I immediately contacted the Davenport and after talking to a manger was sent to the accounting dept. I was told someone would be looking into it and getting back to me shorlty. After not hearing back I called again and was transfered to the accounting dept once again. The voicemail says she returns calls within 24 hours. I have now called 3 times with no response. After no communication my only option is to dispute the charges with my credit card company. Very dissatisfied as the Davenport has always prided themselves on going above and beyond for customer service and I have never been dissatisfied until now.
We have been coming to Spokane for 3 plus years now and bring our kids......we had a horrible first night at our normal hotel and switched over to the Davenport for the remainder of our 4 night stay.....they were all SO AMAZING!!!!! We will never stay anywhere else! I don't know why we had not been staying here all along. GREAT customer service, food was amazing, drinks and happy so so good. Thank you to everyone there for making a family trip turn out better then expected especially after the rough start! I am sorry I did not get anyone's name but if you where there Saturday 8/26- tuesday8/29th THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
We only spent one night here, but it was a good experience. It's dog friendly for an extra charge! The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. The hotel is a short walk to the river front area that's definitely worth a visit. The lobby is also really beautiful. Our room had a large walk in shower, which might be popular, but I find to just be kind of cold. The parking situation was a little confusing and we had to loop around the block. However, they did give us a voucher to cover the cost of the garage, so that makes it better.
I am local resident and I had never stayed in one of the Davenport hotels. Our company Christmas Party was at the Historic Davenport so I decided to stay at the nearby Tower Hotel. I later found out could have saved over $60 if I would have gone to a different website instead of the Marriot website, I was so looking forward to staying in a luxury downtown hotel. I found a dirty sock on the floor. This would have been found if the floor had been vacuumed. When I reported this to the front desk I was told they would let housekeeping know but they did not even give me an apology. There was pieces of some "brown matter " in the pool. There was no other option as posted than valet parking. My car was returned snow covered with only the windshield cleared by the wipers. I just expected more.
On the pricey side, but we'll worth its value. Staff is always ready to help and everything is walking distance (down town). The best part that most don't know is that a stay at any of the four davenports in the area grants you access to all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a premium stay in Spokane.
Wow. This is a hotel for people who like hotels. The beds are comfy like a trampoline without the bounce. The food is very good. The deserts are small and fun. I would recommend this hotel to a friend or someone who isn't a friend.
Check in first, then self park. You'll get an in/out parking pass. Beds were comfy. Pillows too soft to my liking. Pool closes at 10. Shower was hot enough...i like more pressure. Also prefer bar soap. Only minor hiccups with staff... one waitress could've asked nicer for the minors to leave the bar entry area. Easy walk to everything nearby.
What a disappointment! My husband and I have gone to the Tower for many years and have enjoyed the tower suits on many occasions. Well much to our surprise the Tower has "remodeled". It was horrific and we left and went to the Historic Davenport. They made an extremely poor decision when they opted to replace carpeting on the floor with a cheap vinyl that is supposed to appear to be hard wood. Left the carpet boarders and ran this flooring throughout. Not sure who had the decision making authority but termination should be coming.
For meeting the government per diem rate, this place is nice. It's nice regardless of the rate. I don't know what I thought was going on in Spokane, but the Davenport is an amazing, vibrant, hip place. Rooms are clean and have a safari theme. So much zebra and leopard print. But, somehow, in a way that works :)
This review is not for the hotel but for the lounge. They have had a happy hour for YEARS that is 50% off of alcohol and select foods. We went in a couple of days ago and the place was dead. Usually you cannot find a seat. We wondered why but assumed it was because of covid. Well after ordering food and drinks we were presented with a HUGE bill. They had gotten rid of their happy hour prices but failed to mention that when we sat down. Based on the fact that no one was in there, it appears that they have lost all of their business by doing this. With the service industry in shambles due to covid, wouldn't you be doing things to try and bring customers in instead of making them pay more? We won't be going back.
Professional and clean feel with Safari theme with animals and fountains. The hotel is located right in downtown and a quick couple blocks from major bus routes to easily get you around town
Stunning rooms, elegance everywhere and centrally located. One knock on this place; it has underwhelming staff that need some training to match the price and class of this place, at least most whom I observed.
Love the character of this place. Safari theme which could be incredibly cheesy but is actually super cool. Some of the room felt a wee bit 80s, hello phone by the toilet and gold fixtures, but beyond that I think this place is super hip. Stayed in a double queen room on the 17th floor. The room was very large, beds were so cozy, cool faux wood tile, loved the updated bathroom/huge shower. Wish I could have enjoyed the bar/restaurant but rolled in at 10pm and rolled out at 8am. Would love to go back. Definitely out of the norm for a Marriott facility but loved that it was different!
This place was amazing! The service was top notch, on Monday August 5th I arrived very late and a nice young man had just started the late shift. I wish I grabbed his name. He was so great parked my car brought my luggage up and was just so kind. The rooms are great! Clean and great pillow selection. My bill was under my door and had a quick checkout. Was a great price and just off the highway as I was driving through!
Room was comfy and warm. There was an insane amount of dogs that were super loud all night. Food was just ok, not with the price. Had a mix of good and bad customer service. Elevators took forever! Check in and check out were awesome!
Beautiful hotel great staff only problem is no free coffee for the morning in your room Starbucks isnt what it bnb use to be and I don't feel I should pay for it anyway but your staff made up for it
We always enjoy staying at a Davenport hotel. The rooms a great and the beds are super comfortable. Great restaurants in the hotel and nearby. Also a great location!
Service was quick and helpful, though valet parking got over loaded. The room was clean and nice, though I could see the Safari theme become overwhelming.
The hotel is beautiful with the jungle decorations. However, the sheets were terrible, itched all night, never slept. My family and I had stayed on at least five occasions and hotel rooms was great, not this time.
always a decadent delight. superb service, amazing bedding, huge tiled shower, yummy food, attention to detail. the Davenport is the best thing about Spokane, and I love the Tower because I can gaze at the original hotel from my window.
The bed was comfortable, and the room was nice. A great view of all the other buildings downtown. Partial starbucks (with basic drinks only) in lobby as well as a bar/restaurant. Parking is in a separate building across the street (in an underground parking garage.) Walking distance to a delicious locally owned pizza establishment and a Red Robbins.
Our favorite place to stay in Spokane. Within walking distance of the Riverfront Park, movie theatre, many restaurants and shopping. The beds and bedding are so soft and comfy!
staff great , food great, room great with cool walkin shower, steamer for clothes. very classy and elegant lobby area. very quiet rooms also, overall a great experience
