Excellent atmosphere and room setup with plenty of little conceniences and luxuries. Service was prompt and professional, staff was pleasant and unintrusive. Definitely one of the better hotels I've stayed at, worth the money for the night.

Good sized rooms with an elegant lobby and restaurant. Walk in shower was nice. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We did have an issue where two separate reservations we're supposed to be combined and they weren't, so I had to deal with this three times in order to not have to switch rooms partway through our stay. The full length mirror used as a headboard was off-putting and something I hadn't seen since a couple's only hotel in Taiwan. Spend the extra money and stay at the historic Davenport across the street.

Love the Davenport hotels. The only thing I find a little odd in both the tower and Grand hotel rooms is the bathroom layout. That aside these are fantastic hotels at a very reasonable price.

We stay about once or twice a year in the tower, Nothing but the best to say about the Davenport! Extremely nice quality hotel. Everything is top notch. Only wish the rooms had a mini fridge in them, but other than that it s perfection. Always love staying there restaurant and lounge are great as well.

The rooms were excellent. They were spacious and had very comfortable beds. The food was great at the safari room and the servers were fabulous at the restaraunt. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, including the valet attendants, except the girls at the front desk at checkout. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars except for the bad service we received at checkout. The two front desk women were not helpful and pretty rude when inquiring about our bill and charges made to the room. Not what you would expect from a Davenport employee. We would stay again however. The central location in Spokane make this hotel a great choice when visiting.

A little stuffy . My friends were told they were making to much noise , the only thing on was the TV and it was down already . The coverings look nice , although the walls are paper thin

Opulence, luxury and comfort. This hotel is so dreamy and makes you feel like you're in another country with it's cultural decorative style. A welcoming staff and ample amenities provide comfort galore without stepping outside the front doors in the winter. Just lovely!

Room was great, pool and hot tub were a nice addition. Staff was super friendly. Only real negative was no mini fridge or microwave in the room for those late nights when the restaurant is closed and the movie you watched gets over at 12:30 am.

Dirty, noisy rooms , poor customer service. Two rooms with hair in bathroom sink. Third room had food or something smeared on the table. Noise heard from other rooms and hallway was bad. If it weren't so late I would have left. Would not recommend. Would never return.

I stayed at the Davenport Tower, Autograph Collection for 2 nights on a business trip. It was much nicer than my last stay near the airport area. Davenport Tower is right in the downtown Spokane and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The shampoo, hair conditioner, and shower gel were the best selections I have seen in all my previous hotel stays. They were all Made in France and smelled fantastic.

Our upgraded King Room was truly first class. Sure, there is just a shower (no tub), but it's an amazing shower and a beautiful space. The Davenport experience is one you won't soon forget.

Staff was accommodating. I thought I'd made reservations in the original hotel across the street, but found the Towers had a good restaurant and bar in it as well. Not as historic as the original Davenport, but it IS a short walk to Churchill's Steakhouse from there.

Dog friendly Davenport hotel. Of the Davenport hotels I do prefer the other ones, but this one is still really nice and better than most hotels. And being able to bring the whole family, including our dog, is a huge bonus.

Great hotel. Wonderful atmosphere...Very clean and comfortable...valets were very attentive and accommodating...the only draw back is it is 1 block from Spokane's skid row and it's scary to go out at night. Front desk was wonderfully accommodating when i had a snafu with my credit card

Very contemporary, modern, and cool. Any of the Davenports are excellent choices as places to stay when visiting Spokane. The Tower itself has a Safari theme throughout the lobby and into the guest rooms. The main level has an OK restaurant and bar. There is also a hot tub and pool in the basement. Parking is across the street at $17 per night or more for valet. The location in relation to downtown is great. You can walk just about anywhere.

Such a nice, clean hotel with big rooms. The phone in our room was broken and they sent someone right up to fix it. Housekeeping left our room spotless and they were generous with the extra coffee we requested. Great location downtown within walking distance to the mall.

Make sure you record your conversations on the phone with their check in policies. They say one thing and do another, unfortunate but they do apologize profously but even with the desk manager involved they don't make it right. So much for being a Marriott Rewards member.

They didn't explain how to use the Elevator, the bedspreads on both beds were nasty and covered up with a sheet, on both visits. There were long cobwebs hanging from the top of the headboards, and the ambiance was dusty.

Bed is fantastic, everything is immaculate, but some basic amenities such as a mini fridge are non standard. However the front desk has been wonderfully accomodating and the valet staff is quick and professional.

Super hotel. Little gem that I only found thru another Road Warrior friend. If only all Marriotts were like this. Best happy hour drinks and food I have ever found and filled with very friendly locals. When in Spokane, this will be my go to place. Thanks for a great stay.

Went for a night out to celebrate a birthday. After checking into our room with my 2 month old baby we found what looked like dog hair and human hair on the bed and in the sheets. Contacted the front desk to have them replace the bedding while we went to dinner. After returning we found they had only changed the bedding on one bed. The hair was on both queen beds, as explained to the front desk staff. We called again around 9:30pm to let them know and they told us they would switch us to a different room. We had several bags from a day of shopping and all the many necessities needed when traveling with an new baby. This was very frustrating not to mention inconvenient. A clean room is one of the main requirements when staying at a hotel. This was quite disappointing.

5 star service! Can't say enough about the staff -- definitely gave me the luxury treatment, personally handling any random request and making me feel extra important. The hotel itself is nice, pretty standard for upper end. Nothing mind blowing. Loved the service though!

great location in downtown. an 8-10 min walk from Riverpark Square shopping area. rooms are decent, if not slightly aged (charming to some, perhaps dated to others). overall, a worthwhile stay. DEFINITELY USE VALET OR A SECURE PARKING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE.

Roomy and spotlessly clean. Walk from the hotel to all the best downtown spots for eating, drinking, shopping. We were especially comfortable here, and my only regret is not visiting the Safari room.

Beautiful hotel, but the service was less than par. I parked to check in and the valet people told me to go park my car in the lot across the street... though I was going to go check in and obviously needed to unload my bags first.
The bell guy that the front desk summoned walked right past me, even though I was making eye contact with him and saying "hey, right here" - and then after he realized I was his temporary client had an awkward exchange of getting my luggage out of the car and into the hotel room.

After we got settled though the stay was very pleasant. The rooms were beautiful, the exercise room was well kept, the pool was a little cold and the hot tub was on the "nice and warm" side and less on the hot side.

The lobby is what kills it though. Super beautiful with nice dining and bar and a big fire. The whole hotel is African Safari themed, which is super cool. Cheeta print chair in the room, big mirrors, lots of light, nice and quiet. Loved it, just wish the service was better.

We stayed at the Tower for my birthday this October. We had a wonderful experience that I will definitely repeat one day! The room was furnished well, clean, and comfortable. We were on 20th floor so the view was spectacular. The service was great, the pool area was clean and inviting, and it was convenient to have the restaurant on the main floor.

Always a great stay at this hotel. Also best happy hour in town. 1/2 off drinks and they make them doubles so it's a double bonus. Flat breads are delicious too. Especially the Thai one. Highly recommend for food and place to stay.

We usually stay at the old, classic Davenport when in Spokane, but we tried the tower this trip and we're not disappointed. It was beautiful, clean, and modern. We slept so well in the great beds and posh sheets and pillows. Great service too.
