On June 03 2018. Now I am riding my bicycle passing by here. I felt It is amazing quirky looking building with lots of history (was the tallest building in the world when built ) that can be seen from well up Broadway.

Lots of great photography points in Madison Park

Tip for taking pictures look up 5th Avenue you can see the Empire State Building! There is a lovely square/park area where you can sit and have coffee or just soak up the atmosphere! It is great if you like people watching.

The offices at the narrow end are at a premium to occupy! You are allowed to use a full sized tripod in the centre pedestrian island as long as it's not getting in anyone's way. Try and take your photos early in the morning or later in the afternoon to get the building lit on one side only to add a bit more interest.

Building with a very particular "iron" shape from which it owes its nickname. I recommend going to see it if you are in the borough of Manhattan. The Flatiron Building is one of the most famous and particular buildings in New York. It is not possible to visit it inside.

The Fuller Building, better known as the Flatiron Building, with its 86.9 meters high when completed in 1902 was one of the tallest buildings in New York. Located in Manhattan, the building was designed by Chicago architect Daniel Burnham in the Beaux-Arts style on a triangular lot between 23rd Street, Fifth Avenue and Broadway looking towards the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
Admired for its particular shape, the famous "Iron" was one of the first skyscrapers to be built in NY in 1902, with a steel structure. Designed by Chicago architect Daniel Burnham, it was initially called the Fuller Building, after the construction company that owned it. Unfortunately, it cannot be visited inside, but you can indulge yourself in photographing it from different angles outside.
