This skyscraper is in Madison Square. This building looks like an iron so it's called Flatiron. A magnificent structure. In the past, when there was no building, there were many buyers on the land, but the owner did not sell it, and when it was valued, the new owner sold it. It was built with steel skeletons. When you go to NYC, I say you should go there. It's worth to be seen.

Beautiful building on Broadway. Its shape and architecture is incredible. If you are in new york, you can't miss to admire it and take a couple of photos.

The Flatiron building. Like a Flat Iron I guess. Located on Fifth Avenue, it is considered an icon of New York City and one of its most photographed building. It has a triangular shape that gives the impression of an iron silhouette. You may recognise this as the headquarters of the Daily Bugle.



At the crossroads between 5th Avenue and Broadway, the Flatiron Building should not be your only attraction in the area. The district is trendy, and you can sit outside at one of its many cafes or at the Madison Square Park and just people watch all day long. If you re more creatively inclined, the area has plenty of stores catered for those who love artistic design as well as hip cafes and restaurants. When you re done exploring, try Shake Shack just at the corner of Madison Square Park.

Love the flatiron area, although the flatiron building is with scaffolding (July 2020) there are still some amazing buildings to see in and around Madison Square Park.

A true reference to the intersection of 5th Avenue and Broadway!

The Flatiron Building is one of the strangest building I ve ever seen. Its architecture is so unusual that it looks more like a triangle wall with windows. The tourists come here, sit in the park, eat something from Shake Shak and just contemplating the building.

A visit to New York cannot be complete without a photo in front of the Flat iron, taken from Madison Square. Watch out for traffic.

One of my favorite buildings, was also worlds tallest building in early 1900's (1914 I believe)

Absolutely one of the prettiest buildings in NY. No matter how many times you see it, it always looks breathtaking!

I like this building very much. It is very narrow and very special. It is very sensible to take pictures. After dinner from South Korean Street, take a walk for ten minutes.

I give only four stars because I didn't get to appreciate the beauty of the building enough. The day I visited in late Oct was when it was covered in scaffolding which I was so disappointed about. I got unlucky!

The one who visits New York has to go through this building, it is an important part of the history of New York. Come take a couple of photos here and post them on Facebook and people will only say this was really in New York city.

This building is truly amazing, the structure of it are fantastic.

It's the flatiron building. If it brings you joy just by looking at it, great. Otherwise you'll probably move on quickly.
