Was there to watch Gary Johnson. The hotel is nice, but the hall Gary was speaking in was brutally hot.

GREAT location and our room was very nice! The lobby is brand new and beautiful! The valet guys were top of the line and very nice to everyone!
Nice furnishings recently remodeled, however I paid on Priceline and the hotel charged my card anyway for my room. Had to cancel my credit card for fraud
Really enjoyed our stay here. We chose it because it's within walking distance to Shakespeare Tavern. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff is great. The bar actually has good food. A great value all around.
Great hotel in the middle of the city.
Rooms were great and clean.
The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Clean enough. Would stay again. Also, if you are a Emory patient ask about special rates on rooms and valet parking, it will save you a ton of money ! Staff nice and very helpful, bed slept well.
The stay was amazing! Rooms were great and the w5th floor where we had my daughter's reception was wondorful! I want to give Dave Banquet a great review. You made my stay even greater. Thanks for your great service. Trivia the margarita lady!!!
While the staff is as helpful as they can be, this hotel needs attention. From improperly functioning air conditioning in the entire building Memorial Day 2019 weekend, water temperature imbalance (scalded by the shower), decay, to shabby appointments, this hotel is not in my opinion a pleasant place to stay.
Amazing stay. The staff and management were GREAT. There was a hiccup with a gift from my husband for our Anniversary (at no fault of the hotel) and they gifted us with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. Freshest I've ever tasted.
Thank you!
Staff were super friendly and valet attendants were very helpful and professional. However, when we came into our room it smelled very musty and felt damp. Our bed sheets were even damp. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. The front desk texted us which was very courtesy. They asked if we needed anything and we asked for a fridge which they said they would bring up but never did. Also the balconies are all locked except the room I stayed in and the room next to me and they were shared balconies with absolutely no privacy. The water pressure in the shower was nice but the tub would not drain while showering. When putting the ac up from 72 to 75 the unit started smelling HORRIBLE like a burning smell which we had to air out opening the doors. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Location is about a mile away from the heart of downtown. Overall, I rated this hotel with three stars. Next time, I'd probably spend the extra money and stay closer to everything
I am an avid HiltonHonours fan. Service was good and the breakfast was lavish though I am not a fan of American breakfasts!
Great location in midtown Atlanta. Excellent room service menu.
Originally I wouldn't have given this place 5 stars because of all the cons the first two days but I must commend Patrick and Charmane for going above and beyond to correct the problems. They were just wonderful and always had a great attitude despite all the chaos due to the very popular America Mart guest checking in. The gentleman outside were very nice and helpful whenever we needed a cab. Very impressed with all the staff!!! Till next time Atlanta!!
Location was right across the street from meeting spot. Service was great. Rooms were great but could have been cleaner.
Good location in Mid Town, close to Georgia tech, good restaurants at walking distance.
Our room air went out twice and all they did was give us a free breakfast for it!! Housekeeping didn t make beds, restock room, sweep, empty trash the list goes on!! Guest services lying like they re MOD and hanging up the phone!! I will not return to none of the Crown Plaza s sad
Very good rates, however the hallways and rooms smelled like cigarettes.
For an upscale IHG property, I expect a bit more. The bar closes at 11:30pm, the coffee shop closes at 12pm. Our room has a broken desk lamp, a missing lamp shade on a light, and the outlet next to the bed doesn't work. I just wasn't impressed overall.
Next Restaurant I visited the Next Restaurant on Monday and Tarik was very friendly and helpful. He was pleasant and told us different places to visit while in Atlanta. He is an excellent example of a great worker.
Great Stay ding dong ditching was amazingly fun as the stairs were easy to access
Excellent location and front desk staff was wonderful.
Enjoyed the stay. Clean environment, courteous employees.
Very nice hotel. Rooms and lobby area nice centrally located
Nice modern hotel and reasonable price.
The problem I'm having with this business is that I forgot my eyeglasses in the room. I called as soon as I got home, which was several hours after I checked out. I was told security would have any lost items turned in by housekeeping. However I have now been calling the hotel for three hours without ever being able to reach anyone who will simply look into the location where left or lost items are kept. The front desk staff states that security is probably out on their rounds.
If security is unable to respond to a fairly simple request within three hours I would doubt their ability to respond to an actual emergency.
The check in was easy, Leonard was friendly and greeted us with a smile. Meeting space was everything we needed. We had a few last minute requests and Anton was able to come through immediately to assist. My room was clean and spacious. Would have like to be able to work the thermostat, but that's user error. I would recommend this property for both business and personal.
Very disappointed, room are old, not well maintained, TV had a problem, they said they will replace it, nothing done... Heating system is so noisy you can't sleep, unless you want to freeze by turning it off, lastly, the valet parking is a complete mess, the worst, is that they push the receipt under the door at 2am making a weird noise woking me up... Will never ever come back to that hotel ever
It's conveniently located. Not too far of a walk to Coca-Cola, CNN, and the Georgia Aquarium. The room air conditioner made a knocking sound but cooled okay. I don't know if it was drag racing Sat but it was loud until late in the night. Had a great view.
Very nice room but VERY SCARY PART OF TOWN AT NIGHT.
Should have Security Guard outside at night
The hotel was very nice. The valet on the other hand, brought my car back from valet parking damaged on the passenger side. Currently going threw their internal claims department for the damage.
This is a pretty good hotel. Love the view. The guy was fantastic and clean. The room was ok. The bed sheets were not cleaned. They have to improve room cleaning but besides this we love the hotel. The location was perfect.
Loved it! Big rooms with balconies. Great place for work conferences and meetings. Access to MARTA and plenty of food shoppes.
Don't. Way over priced for stained carpet, constant parties, rain coming into the room. Pitch a tent. You will be happier.
Worst hotel ever I could go on and on but I'm just going to warn you guys don't go just find any other hotel in the area or hell even motel. It's the worst I promise.
Space was clean. Only had a little trouble parking. Visited on a Saturday morning for a conference.
The good: Modern looking hotel, after a nice renovation. Easy access parking. Relatively clean rooms.I did see some paint bubbling in my bathroom and marks on the wall. Not too far from several places to eat. Pleasant staff.
The bad: If you're in a room facing the highway get ready to enjoy sirens whenever an ambulance/police passes by. The hallways wall paper shows signs of water damage and the carpet definitely smells like that. I have very mild allergies and whenever I was in the areas with carpet my nose would get runny till I would leave the hotel.
Everything was great about the hotel except for the location. It's right next to a hospital. So you hear loud sirens all night. I even had ear plugs in. Maybe I had a room opposite side of the hospital it would have been much quieter.
Excellent accommodations, helpfu staff, continental breakfast, get up early don't miss it. Full size frig, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, kitchenette. Great stay, will return.
Really enjoyed this hotel, the room was to my standard of a being great. I didn't get a chance to try out many of the extra services the hotel has. They did have a nice concession area in the lobby which I really enjoyed .
Wonderful staff and a beautiful room .the lighting is superb . I had a great breakfast this morning. I also received a beautiful note from Vicky the Associate Director of Sales expressing her concerns to make me feel special while staying here . She also stated that if I needed anything don't hesitate to ask. The note was addressed to me along with a bottle of smart water. Now how great is that?
If you want a great place to stay and be pampered, I highly recommend the Crown Plaza Midtown. Very professional and friendly. You will love your stay.
Great place to stay..if there's anything you need to be straighten out the customer service representatives are outstanding in handling your issue. Thumbs up to the staff...
Crowne Plaza is an excellent hotel with Very nice restaurant and rooms . Nice gym too. @miz_pound_cake
Checking in was a bit slow but overall I had a good stay
Horrible staff, horrible service, under construction, non-smoking and they do not tell you prior to booking, over priced...what worst hotel in Midtown.
Service was great! Nice beds, great breakfast and close to great night life Atlanta style!
The Atlanta ballroom was fantastic. I attended a Gary Johnson rally in November. It was a great event at a great venue.
The room was big and clean. Swimming pool has a genuine deep end but the sun disappears behind the building mid afternoon.
Room was nice but had not been cleaned yet when we arrived at 4pm. The next day when we returned from the aquarium at 4pm it had not been cleaned again. Manager was understanding and offered my family free breakfast vouchers and waived our valet fee.
All the staff we encountered were very courteous and professional. Location was convenient for our aquarium visit.
One of the worst hotels I have seen in the United States of the IHG chain in which we are Spire Elite. I booked a large room and they gave me a small one (despite having confirmed the reservation for a large one without cancellation rights), with broken equipment, no safe and no fridge. The hotel is pet friendly, and smells like dogs in every corner, including the rooms.
On the first day, we left the room to pass and when we returned, already at night, they had not done it. We complain and nothing. We complain again and nothing. In the drawer of my nightstand I found a pair of underwear that I had to throw in the trash (which no one came to remove).
On the third day they again forgot to fix the room.
Beautiful hotel! Came here for a birthday getaway with my boyfriend
Good clean room, friendly staff. The in room dining experience and general dining options could use an upgrade. Pool needs refurbishment.
Overall a nice experience. Nice rooms, lobbies, and meeting spaces, but small things made the difference...dusty chandeliers, dirt/hair in the room Keurig and stairs between the lobby and BL level needed sweeping. The restaurant staff, consierges, and market staff were terrific. We also came with a delegation field trip, and they double booked the 25th floor which bumped our group. That was a disappointing event. Furthermore, upon check in, they did not have a third of our rooms ready despite having reservations months in advance.
Upon arrival to our room, the door was open. The cleaning lady said she was sorry and forgot to close the door. The room was very stuffy and hot. Phone did not work. We called the front desk and they sent up the rudest maintenance man who didn't even acknowledge our main concern of no air. When I mentioned we could just move hotels, he replied "so, you're going to go ahead and leave?" I was floored at how we were ignored and pretty much encouraged to leave. Would not recommend this hotel. The cleanliness was sub-par too.
I will start this review with Wow as I had a wow and wonderful experience here! I arrived about 9pm last night after getting a little turned around and I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff that quickly got me a room. I was told to check out the caesar salad at the Next restaurant and bar. I ended up grabbing a pricey drink as well, but it was delicious and helped me relax a little bit after a long and tiring day.
After chatting it up with a guy at the bar I headed to my room and again wow! I walked in and was immediately greeted by my big and comfy bed! Each part of the room had it's only function. There was a funky table for the desk and working and a wrap around sofa for chilling out. Also, there were tons of plugs for my phone and technoloyy seems to be a central focus of the hotel.
The television had tons of channels and while I ate my salad I flipped through. I finally settled on HGTV and got ready for bed. The bathroom was amazing as well. Although I couldnt figure out the lights as they kept flicking off and on, so eventually I turned them off.
The bed had tons of room and just helped me relax into sleep. Unfortunately I woke up not feeling so well--at no fault of the bed or the food--so I went to my interview and after I was able to take a nap and rest in one of their many lobby chairs. The staff were super nice and no one bothered me or made me feel uncomfortable.
I love that the hotel is super close to Marta and a few stores--super walkable! I definently would come back here for my next stay.
Not worth it. There are far better options in the area. Staff is apathetic and not super helpful. All the elevators were broken so everyone had to use the stairs and none of the staff seemed to know or care.
Excellent service, clean room, awesome location! All was as promised.
I went for a convention and the place is beautiful, the staff was cordial at every moment
Great staff, wonderful ballroom for the Johnson/ Weld Rally
I don t understand how this place received a 3.5 star rating. For $500+ for two night in a basic room, is absolutely insane. Guest services and room service is a joke. NOBODY will pick up at any and every extension to ask for room service, bathroom supplies, etc. I ve called all night and morning, even the main reception desk from my personal phone, and nobody answers. The hotel supplies ONE small soap bar, shampoo and conditioner. No lotion. No grooming supplies- and not even available to purchase. Extremely dissatisfied. The advertised balcony on the reservation is false. Balconies are locked and drilled shut and they refuse to open. Please do not stay here.
Hardly no eminenties,, very expensive not family or children friendly
Very nice place. Staff did not seem knowledgeable or helpful regarding fun things to do in the area.
Bed was comfy. But rooms are a joke. Our whole stay only three of the cable channels worked. In room appliances wasnt up to date. If there even was any depending on ur room. Ur better off going down the street somewhere else.
Class operation thanks a great staff. Especialy ms canada
Great location, good place. Front desk screwed up my keys sending me up and down 11 stories...three times.
Great atmosphere, customer service was excellent, right in the heart of midtown would love to visit again
Beautiful place. Very friendly. Rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. Updated rooms with top notch features an fixtures.
Crowne plaza was very nice they have this rooftop me and my date went to which was a very nice setting. Staff was A1
Great location. Close to the MARTA North Avenue station. Comfortable, clean room.
The street racing in Midtown Atlanta is non-stop and there is nothing the police can do about it and it kept me up until almost 1am.
Use the $40/night valet because it is cheaper than the parking garage next door. Personally, I will book in the suburbs next time that have free parking and less noise.
No fridge! I've stayed at motels at less than half the price that provide a fridge and microwave.
Nice clean room.
Staff is not very well trained.
