Came here for a Halloween costume. The staff here are amazing, and super helpful . They have such a wide variety of costumes here for sale. All are great quality, and the best quality I've seen at any costume store. I highly recommend this place if you need a costume for a drama production as a cast or for a party on Halloween night. Excellent experience.

Lots of options, huge variety. Mostly low quality focused on Halloween rather than stage or recreationist purposes.

Went the same day to get a costume for a gymnastics competition. Mercy and Pink helped us so much! Mercy provided excellent customer service and Pink went above and beyond by sewing on an eye and hook latch so his costume did not come down on the high bar.

It had lots of costumes and the paraphernalia that goes with it. It was well organized. Some items I found to be very reasonable.

They were very helpful as I was looking for something out of season.

You d think a store in competition with Amazon would try to stress positive customer service as an important part of their business, however, after a rather unpleasant interaction with an employee has prompted me to generate this review. I don t need to be yelled at and embarrassed while trying to give them my money, so from now on I ll do my costume shopping online.

I was looking for a Harley Quinn costume for my 8 year old daughter and the owner was helping me. He said that he does not carry the costumes for kids that are too suggestive. We found a beautiful Harley Quinn costume that is appropriate for an 8 year old.
I find that in itself admirable, but what really makes me happy is that he has a son. If only every parent with sons would be so protective of little girls! I know that his son is one boy who will be a man that would never hurt my daughters.

Lots of fantastic costumes but the staff were not helpful. The staff at the front of the store were good and told me to look though the catalog at the back of the store. The lady at the back was unpleasant and unhelpful. She probably had a long day and just wanted to go home but it made it an unpleasant experience for me.

Went and picked up my son's Halloween costume from The Costume Shoppe today. 10/10 for service, safety measures and overall experience. They have been hit hard with the pandemic. If you're in need of a Halloween costume, definitely go check them out and support a local business! Bonus: they have in store shopping, curbside pick up and $10 delivery if you order online!

The best costume shop in the city! The staff is really helpful and the selection of costumes and accessories are amazing! A bit pricey on some items, but they have basically everything you could ever need. Thank you for all the help guys!

Great place to go if you are looking for a specific costume or not sure and looking for some inspiration. The staff are a pretty helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of costumes that you can rent and buy along with alot of props to add that little bit extra to your outfit. Prices seem fair. Good location with plenty of parking.

Friendly, hugely knowledge staff who went out of their way to help me work around my disability while shopping. They're doing absolutely everything possible to keep patrons safe AND they really know their costume stuff! Highly recommend 15/10

Pretty good selection so they had what I was looking for which I thought might be tough to find.

Bought costume from here and upon later inspection found many parts torn and broken absolutely horrific

Very little help, almost zero input from the staff. At one point a staff member begrudgingly helped us, but it appeared to be quite the effort. Unless I needed a epic, serious or unique costume, I'll just go elsewhere.

We've gotten many of our costumes here and the ladies are so eager to help. We encourage anybody for any reason who need to dress up to go here. The owner himself will come out and chat with you which speaks volumes. I highly recommend this place

Easy to find & get to (located just off Blackfoot Trail in the South), this place has quickly become my go-to for all things costume related. The last time I was there, I needed something in a pinch and was amazed that not did I find something right up my alley, I didn't pay an arm & a leg either. The staff is super helpful & friendly, and you should definitely check them out!

Good variety of costume stuff but staff wasn't too present despite an empty store

Pricing is way too much for cheap quality items. Very disappointed with the amount i paid today for a holster that looks like it is from the dollar store. I always try and avoid this place as it is, due to their pricing. i really don't know why i went back today.

Halloween shopping, looking for hard to find stuff. Asked and she didn't know but she went to the expert on that subject. He had two possibilities. The one was perfect for our needs.

Amazing variety and options for costume ideas. Staff very knowledgeable and efficient with all my questions and ideas for putting together my costumes. Can t say enough good things about this family locally owned store. They have change rooms to try on your costumes .....selection is vast for all sizes. Which is amazing as I am what is considered plus size. And they had sizes for me. Love that. It was one stop shopping for me which I really appreciate as I was time crunched. Thank you

Came here looking for a wig and other items for this upcoming Halloween and was not disappointed. There was tons of eager and friendly staff there to help and give knowledgeable advice.

Amazing staff, and the largest selection of costumes, accessories and so much more. It's such a fun place to take my son- we look through all the aisles, try on the hats and masks, and they have the BEST selection of inflatable dinosaurs (and others). Great place to shop!

Super patient and helpful even when we had Thu try every size they make... Even during their big Halloween rush still quick and helpful. Support local business!

Most of the staff were very nice, the manager had a totally level head during the chaos, however they had one staff member who was just rude. They had an impolite demeanor from the moment I walked into the back, their eyebrows didn't help though, it made them look upset.

My husband and I made a last minute decision to pick-up Halloween costumes the day of Halloween. After some quick research online, we chose the Costume Shoppe because of it's great selection and location. We went in expecting it to be crazy, but despite how busy it was, everything was extremely well organized - right from the process of selecting the costumes, to payment. We were in and out in a reasonable time, and wound up with exactly what we wanted. The costumes were much higher quality than ones we had purchased in the past from other retailers. We will be back!! The place is abandoned - I stopped by last week, and although the "open" sign was lit, the doors were locked in the middle of the day. Not sure when they went out of business, but they forgot to turn off the sign.

Staff were helpful. Every idea they tried to put things together. You have to compromise choices. Not everything is exact when building a costume. Still, the staff were quick with ideas. This is my second year, and will continue to go every year.
