What a spot! Turned up on spec and were fortunate to benefit from a no-show. Table was right by the window, overlooking the river Dee. The food was also very good, as was the very attentive (but not inappropriately so) table service.

This is a find. Fantastic location next to the river.

Location is wonderful, food is lovely, all pubs from this group are great value for money and the food is excellent, beautiful locations and excellent quality of service. I wish they will have some pubs nearer london, but we visit them when we travel around countryside.

Great place with lovely atmosphere beside the river, can look across to the steam railway station. Great tasty food and very friendly. No parking though so need to park at either of the nearby car parks, though these are less than 5min walk

Took our 5 year old for lunch after a nice walk... the staff were very friendly and the food was delightful.. they also catered for our vegan guest who was happy with his meal...
Highly recommended.

Called in for an afternoon drink, ordered a charcuterie board , it was delicious! Says for 2 people but would still be a good snack for 4.
Went back later for dinner and had lamb shoulder, also delicious.

Lovely restaurant...great food and the staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Beautiful pub next to the river. Great selection of beer and the staff are amazing. It was very busy when we were there and the staff were attentive and happy. Definitely going again.

Dog friendly allowed to sit inside , welcomed me and my girlfriend and the German shepherd in for food. Very nice inside and lovely food

Fantastic sharing plate for two was ample for four. Delicious selection and variety. Service excellent as were the wines and beers. Roast Pork could have had apple sauce. Trout perfect. Delighted to be able to choose one, two or three scoups of ice-cream or sorbet.

Really good food! Nice views and good food. We were in the attic and it was sometimes difficult to get service and there wasn t enough cutlery for us.

The food here is very nice. Very busy so best to book. Offers online booking. Lovely setting by the river.

Couldn't really recommend. One star for the lovely setting. Could be a great pub but bar staff indifferent, menu doesn't really excite, food average, tables sticky and not cleared. We did go back a second time to give the benefit of the doubt but was no better. Really disappointed recommend The Sun Inn at Rhewl instead.

Amazing location no doubt about it (if you can get a spot on the terrace). When we eventually ordered food it came really quickly and was delicious. Only negative being they repeatedly told us we weren't allowed to order food as we hadn't booked.. but 6/7 tables around us were eating? We spent a few hours there having drinks and when I did try order food in the later evening it was fine

Absolutely amazing. You can have a beer on the deck, near the water or try some of the delicious food inside.

The service is great, food was tasty and a lovely decking area overlooking the river makes for a lovely "me time" lunch.

Had the best meal I have had in a long time here. The sea bass was amazing and the summer pudding did not disappoint. The service was great and our waitress was great, her comic timing fab. A great birthday meal! Highly recommend.

5 star all day long, beer good , food great , staff wonderful, you can stop in Llangolen and not stop by for a meal, and the view from The corn Mill

Excellent food and service. Great choice of real ales. Great location right on the river. East here twice over a 4 night stay.

I cannot rate the Corn Mill highly enough. The food is some of the finest I've ever had, every meal I've eaten has massively exceeded my expectations. The building itself has such a charm and character that really stays with you, the views over the river, whether your inside or out and no matter the weather, really make your whole time there a real experience. Add to that friendly staff and a full stocked bar, and for me there is nowhere better.

Always amazing food, great views and dog friendly. What's not to love?

We had a great meal here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had one of the local pies and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were quite delicious. We'd definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a good meal in Llangollen.

A cracking location, right on the river, and great pub food

With its fantastic location right next to the Dee, it was next to impossible to nab some unreserved outdoor seating. And indoors, most of the tables were reserved so I recommend you book ahead. The burger and chips were good, there was free WiFi, and an excellent atmosphere and decor.

What better way to start the evening off than with a burger and a pint on the outside decking before going for a paddle!

Despite not having been impressed with the quality of the dishes as it is mainly fried chips, fried frozen meat, and so on. We did have lovely drinks by the river while spotting wonderful mountains and houses in the beautiful surroundings.

I am a Mexican guy therefore I am used to fresh meat, fresh fish as well as fresh vegetables ; that may be the reason for not catching up with the frozen menu.

Had an excellent meal here for my mother in laws 50th. We were a party of 14 with two small children and they catered for us really well. Food was fantastic, good selection and great quality. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic pub in a beautiful location. Nestled in the gorgeous Welsh landscape and alongside the river the Cornmill has it all. To compliment it's fine view and architecture it delivers a good selection of ales, lagers and ciders plus the food is amazing.
On visiting Korean Wing, Prawn Tempura, Braised Lamb and Steak Burgers were all sampled and in all cases all diners we impressed. All cooked well and very tasty.
