Awesome restaurant/bar. I had the fish tacos and they were really good. They have about 20 microbrews on tap ranging from 3-16.2% alcohol content. Staff is very friendly.

The atmosphere was amazing the food was amazing and drinks are amazing.
This place was loud and large. Good beer selection, impressive list of whiskeys. Menu is pretty standard, service okay. Not a place that I feel a need to return to, nor one I'd necessarily recommend for a memorable experience, but if you just want a beer and comfort food you'll find what you want at this place. If the weather is nice the outdoor patio would be more conducive to hearing your dinner partners conversation.
The foods are great. Our waitress is awesome. We have to move from the patio to the bar cos of the rain. I will not name anyone but the 2 bartenders who really busy talking about ass and scabies with the other guy across the bar. I m sorry but I don t want to listen to those story while eating my foods. Train your employee. Please !!!!
I enjoy The Common Table a lot, but the Uptown location is my favorite for sure. Great food and great rotating beer selection. Great music as well playing.
Nice quiet spot at the star. Good selection of craft beer and whisky selection.
Yes sir, this place is back and open for business! As if nothing has happened! Literally. Because they are blasting music past full volume, so that from the very first moment you arrive, you and your friends and all the staff are pulling their masks down to moistly shout at each other. Bravo.
This is a dope spot for hip hop brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The music, energy and people make for a great atmosphere. You have to check it out at least once. It wouldn t be a surprise if this place becomes your new go to spot but get there early or at least make reservations, which you can do 24 hours in advance.
My reason for 3 stars is because I drink my tequila on the rocks and without telling you, they pour an extra .5 oz and charge you an additional $2 + standard price. I usually have 2 3 drinks (yeah, I know), so that is an extra $4-$6, which I know sounds petty but, on the receipt, they list it as ROCKs, so of course that immediately throws you off. Like wait, did I just pay $6 for ice?!?
This is the only place I ve experienced this and honestly, it just doesn t sit well with me. If you are going to pour an extra .5 oz, pour the .5 oz and don t up charge for it or include it in your standard pricing for on the rocks drinks so no one feels like they paid $6 for ice.
Like I said though, still a dope spot.
Great atmosphere to hang with friends & good hiphop music to listen to. Food is pretty good too
Could not get not even an appetizer and had to wait for well over 20 min. Befor anyone even acknowledge that we had been seated.
Came here after a game at The Star. They seemed to be out of everything on the menu we asked about. They might want to be prepared a bit better for a Friday night.
Eveneque was amazing. I ve had great experience will come back
The service was good aside from that the server took off his mask and was talking/hovering over my food, yuck.
Big selection of Beer Wines and Food! Sports on multiple TVs. Looks like a cool spot to hang out and meet friends. Close to a bunch of other shops too!
First time here. I was really impressed with how nice it is on the inside. I went on Wednesday, which is trivia night. Our group had a blast. Tons of quality craft beers. You have to try the giant kobe beef corn dogs! The flat bread pizza was perfectly cooked. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good food and a quality beer selection.
THEY ARE GETTING ALL 5 STARS. We had a bday brunch and it took some time to get us all settled. However, they took care of us and held themselves ACCOUNTABLE. They engaged with us and made us feel very very welcomed! It was my first experience EVER. BUT IT WAS SUCH A GRAND TIME! AND THEY PLAYED FIRE A*% MUSIC!
Great selection of craft beers. Staff was great. Location reminded me of DTLA LA live area.
I love this place! The hip hop brunch is the best game in town on the weekends. The chicken & waffles is delicious, the service is prompt and good, and the prices are great. Excellent cocktails, large beer selection, and a large outdoor patio and a great atmosphere make this place a very popular hotspot. No complaints at all here. Highly recommended!
Great place, food & music! I had the chicken fried ribeye!
Great music and food. Just an overall great atmosphere.
Food is good. The bartender needs to go to bartender school to learn how to make basic drinks. Two times we have been there, and she has messed up a Mojito, as well as an Old Fashioned. Also over charged for other spirits.
Good food. Fun Hip Hop Sunday brunch. Nice place to hang out, get a drink, and bite to eat.
Went there for the first time and had a great experience. The food was awesome and great atmosphere!
If you attempt to patronize this restaurant on a weekend after 3pm, you will be met with an unwaivering, ridiculous, otherwise asinine policy.
After 3pm on a weekend you are forced to wait for 4pm to order an actual meal. The restaurant relies on the slap-you-in-the-face rule of you cannot eat until 4pm because the kitchen transitions in between 3-4pm. Mind you, they do not close their doors to patrons, they just tell you there's nothing you can order until 4pm.
This place deserves 0 stars. It's the ghetto and I would not recommend.
Tori was great otherwise.
Food was better than most places, but nothing spectacular. I really enjoyed the lazy river! Recommend it for anyone that likes coconut rum. A little more on the pricey side for the type of food, but I've payed much more at other places. Waitress was awesome and on top of it!
Would give it 5 stars but no social distancing at all and my brownie was like an easy baked oven treat. Other than that, my meal was good and the vibes were great for the hip hop brunch. Definitely going back, when I m ready to risk it all again! Lol.
The workers are amazing, and the atmosphere is modern but comfortable. Definitely would want to return here.
Ok, I originally gave them 5 stars but now is going to two. The food got mediocre. I ordered a pot pie few weeks ago and the filling was too salty and felt like it was canned cheap potpie filling. Then today I had a pasta, and it was miserable. Overcooked dried chicken on top, angel hair looked like someone was chopping it with a knife before serving, which mean they overcooked it. It felt like a microwaved leftover from yesterday's meal. For $18 a plate of pasta, this is very very poor.
The drinks were top notch, entertainment and atmosphere was casual and comfortable.. however the service could have been better.
Awful food. My tasteless chicken sandwich paired well with the tasteless potato chips. Even the dill pickle was weird tasting.
Service was horrible. While waiting we weren't asked if we had been helped and our server did not come to our table till almost 10 minutes later. Not a place of recommendation.
Walked in and asked about how food is prepared because I have severe allergies. Waitress laughed and said "I don't know." Walked right out.
Called 3X no one answered the phone. Got there ordered was barely busy. Pot pie had no veggies inside was told there would be mixed veggies etc. taste was not good. $17 overpriced for the items they have. Would recommend other places around the area.
I have been to The Common Table 4 times in the past 3 weeks. I have had a handful of servers and Sara, she said she was new, was the best server we have ever had at The Common Table. If you go, DEFINITELY request to be seated wit Sara. The food is very well made and has a great brunch selection. The beer menu was phenomenal. If you are looking for a nice night out or a brunch on satsaturday, I recommend The Common Table.
No one greeted us or even acknowledged us when we walked in the door. We weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or what. The wait staff passed us by several times while we were standing there looking confused but didn't say a word. We finally walked up to the bar and asked the bartender who simply said we don't have a Hostess tonight. We asked if we should just see ourselves and she said yes. After sitting down, we still had to flag down a waitress to get any service at all. Music was too loud and rather annoying. Overall, the food was great but service and atmosphere kind of sucked.
I love this place. The beer menu always has awesome choices. Brussel sprouts and the grilled cheese are my favorite items and it s a chill spot.
Great place, food is amazing. Slow during the week so it's a great place to sit and work!
My GO TO brunch spot! I love the hip hop brunch and I love the food and overall atmosphere.
Service was great. Super place to watch the game. Try the Philadelphia cheese steak egg roll and the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Best sweet potato waffle fries I've ever had!
Friendly staff and good drink selection! Didn't have the chance to try the food
Food and service was great. I had the beef tenderloin and it was cooked a perfect medium rare. Stopped in with a few friends and the apps of chicken lolilops and Philly cheese steak eggrolls were hot and fresh.
This place is awesome! They have great food and great service here. If you like craft beer too, I would highly recommed this place!
Good service. Notorious P.I.G. and country fried steak are great. Loved the on tap oatmeal stout aged in bourbon barrel.
The food and service was fantastic but they play the music way too loud!
Expensive for what the food was. I get it it's made fresh but an additional dollar for fries with my 14 dollar burger? Come on. Also loud not great for conversation unless your outside. Admittedly did not expirence the live band so maybe that portion is cool and I missed it.
Mediocre in every way. The wings were the highlight of our meal and they were ok at best. My beer was pretty good but my sandwich had no flavor at all. Come for all you can eat wings on Thursday cause it will definitely fill you up.
Caleb was a great server, very fun and gave good service the whole time, even as they got busier.
The food was amazing and on point. The service was a bit lacking. I'll chalk it up to them being busy.
Service was on point and the food was good, but the cocktails were highly inconsistent.
Ordered a Spring Fling and The Traveling Pig (their $20 cocktail). The first round was fantastic - so good that they convinced others to order their own - but the next rounds were disappointing and the bartender was entirely dismissive.
This was our second time there and it s really just ok . Service was not good... I had to get up twice to ask for something we needed and our server was pretty much not around. There was six of us and ALL of our food came out luke warm to cold (probably because the server was not paying attention). And the bathrooms were a bit dirty. Best thing were the drinks! Bloody Marys were very good! We won t be going back. So many other options in the area that are much batter.
Really, really good food and one of the most diverse beer selections I've seen in Frisco. Upscale, but very relaxed. Shorts are fine here. Great, knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be back
Food was ok. Beer was great. Outside seating was great. Wait times to be served were a bit long but the manager offered us free desert for the trouble. Staff is very nice.
excellent site, very good live music, excellent atmosphere and an unbeatable location, many beautiful girls also hahahaha
Really annoyed with this place. Came her for dinner with a large group because the reviews looked pretty good. Our group ordered burgers, steaks, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, but nothing was cooked well. The steak and burgers were over cooked and dried out. I wasn t even asked how i wanted my burger cooked so i suppose hockey puck is the default. The chicken (both grilled and fried) was grossly dry and required sips of water to get it down. I don t understand how this place has 4/5 stars because nobody in our group enjoyed our meal. With so many wonderful options around here, no reason to come to this place. Just gross don t do it.
First time here and I want to bring everyone back! 90s hip hop brunch was awesome, Cowboys game watching was awesome, food was AWESOME! Franks Red Hot Sauce side needs to be with everything. Thanks for a memorable time!
Great drinks, great food and has some classic hip hop from the 80s and 90s
Good food. A bit pricey for what it is, but I guess that's Dallas for you.
Very crowded. Definitely going for an uptown vibe in the middle of suburbia. If you like waiting a long time for a table listening to too loud hip hop and sitting next to ten year Olds who's parents have fond memories of their SMU days one table over, this is your place.
The Bison meatballs are great. The Notorious PIG burger is excellent!
One of the best dinners we have had. Great place I highly recommend it.
Great little Gastropub at The Star in Frisco. Great quantity of bar seating if you're a barfly along with a great bar staff. The bar caters to the microbrew crowd but also has a nice wine selection and several scotch options. Service is quick with a good assortment of food options.
Common Table . All I can say is WOW. This is a happy place and will allow a happy medium to group when dining. If you are a craft beer lover you will be in love with the items on draft that changing weekly. It all depends on if they sell out on a good beer that it will switched out earlier. I had that happen but that s good problem for Common Table. They have a Hip Hop Brunch as well as food pairings to keep you on your toes during the week. Bavarian pretzels bites are nicely toasted with a creamy fondue sauce. I really enjoyed the Chicken Lollipops, they re hot and crispy, and wonderful appetizer.
A great cocktail is a White Sangria with Skittles. It is sweet so maybe a couple will be plenty for your sugar rush. If you are needing a State Fair fix, they have these great Kobe Beef Corn Dogs, and these are made to order. That was impressive to me since I think Corn Dog has a shelf life after it comes out of the fryer. Must eat immediately for the love of Corn Meal. HA!
Food was okay. They handled our large group well and all the orders were out quick. But the blaring music drowned out much of the conversation.
Burgers were great, fries were cold, music that included profanity playing loudly is unacceptable.
$6.00 for cold grits, $6.00 for 3 bacon strips, Service was terrible. Had to remind waitress to bring ice, a drink a kiddo, a menu, etc. Thankfully, the food was decent.
The food was great! I had waffles for breakfast and my wife had the rib eye. You can't go wrong eating at this place. Check it out.
This place is awesome. I haven t been here in a few months. But coming back feels like I m at home.
I m a local Frisco realtor and I have a client who is relocating from the DC area to Frisco. They wanted to know more about the area including locations. So I brought them here to the Common Table.
From the food to the service, this place does not disappoint. Normally I get the blacked chicken & grits. Today I decided to change it up.
The fried chicken & biscuits are delicious.
I ll make sure I m back soon.
Great food, great drinks, great music! Can get a little busy and have to wait but totally worth it imho
Great location.. ambient atmosphere and the best fish sandwich I've had!
We enjoyed the Bison meatballs, the uncommon colada and the atmosphere. We would come back!
