Best diner I've ever been to and probably will ever go to.

Food was good and we ate outside .... staff was great and very courteous

Last time we ate there the dinner was not good at all. We both had a pasta dish and it was over cooked and very mushy. It Will be a while before I try eating there again

NEVER had a REMARKABLE meal here...not terrible BUT not great either.

Seating under canopy outside, or inside; your choice. Good food, good people

Last week was the first time we visited this place. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the attentive service, with the high quality cooking and booze and with the decent cost. We will definitely visit there soon.

My office often orders take out from the Colonial Diner.

Their vegan menu is a big draw, the Seitan Fries are a big bang for your buck.

Other than that I have found the food to be fine, not great. Pricey.

This spot clearly knows how to serve their customers. Constantly with a helpful demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly yummy and clean.

We were waited on immediately after being seated, food was very good and plentiful portions.. Ordered Italian chicken cheese steak wrap

How don't you know how to make breakfast ? It was terrible and will not be eating there again. So much for a first impression.

I know the staff pretty well n the manager Costa is like my honorary dad. Love eating w family!

My husband and I were having a rough day and stopped in the Colonial Diner because it is close to the hospital. Patrick and his trainee Matt were our waiters. Both gentleman brightened our day. We were greeted immediately and our food/drinks came out quickly. Patrick is very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The diner offers a wide array of food to choose from. The food was delicious and the perfect temperature (as it always is)! I will ask to be seated in either man's section next time we visit the diner.

Great food. Usually not a long wait. Long hours. Convenient location right on 45. Didn't give it 5 stars because there's a small parking lot and sometimes service is slow.

Best diner in South Jersey have never had a bad meal

Great place food is awesome. I had the red velvet pancake with granola. The wait staff is pleasant and there was no rush to get out even on a Sunday morning.

My mother use to take me to eat out here when i was a kid and its great to see the place never really changed. The servers, management, and rest of the staff were awesome

Decent food and decent service, although I feel like they tried to pack way too many tables into the main dining area.

I would like to put in a complaint for what happened early morning on 12/27/15. Our party walked in to get food when there was four drunk people who were belligerently throwing out racial slurs to one of the people in our party. My brother and his friend are in the Navy and only have two weeks to enjoy themselves in civilian life. I did say something to that party by telling them to knock it off that we have service men trying to enjoy their time. Apparently a waitress is friends with someone in that party. How funny that they were trying to leave when the cops got called as well. However instead of anyone intervening your staff called the cops and had us leave. Then when we came back in to grab our stuff your staff had the nerve to tell us if we are paying for our food that we didn't eat. What a joke. We will be spreading the word to other service men to not go there that it's not a friendly place. Ever since management changed hands I hate going there. Don't worry we will never go again.

It's a diner, pretty much everything is average as far as things go with the place. Service is average, barring the 1 or 2 people I usually ask for. Food is average diner fare, it's not gonna win any awards, but there really isn't one bad thing on the menu either. The best thing to get in the morning is probably a quiche, best thing lunch/evening time is probably a gyro. Nothing else to really say, you get what you expect when it comes to the Colonial.

Very welcoming. Our family is mainly vegan, so to have a full vegan menu, I was so shocked. Very good comfort food. I had the Ruben, my hubby had the cheesesteak and the baby had the bean,something, I forgot what it was called. It was great will be going again.

Food was ok. Got a lemon pie to go and once I got home saw a very long dark hair in the pie. Was super gross and disappointing

Good food, patient waiter, clean and had a very nice experience.

Amazingly this diner has a vegan menu! Got the bacon (not real bacon) ranch impossible burger. Huge burger and the taste was amazing. Thank you Colonial Diner for thinking of those who choose to eat differently than the norm. We will be back.

Food is terrific and the wait staff was god. No long wait.

Had a great Reuben sandwich and a really great waitress. Enjoyed it very much.

Never going back here again !!!!While I am sitting down trying to enjoy my food with my family.My arm starts itching ,I look at my arm and think nothing of it.again trying to enjoy my food .all of the sudden I look down and there is a small red beetle type bug crawling on me .it must of bit me like three times before I noticed!!ugh !!!I look under the table and it's dirty as hell full of food napkins.I tell waitress she gets manager who told me the door was left open like that is an excuse then to add insult to injury she offered me a piece of cake .Like that would heal my now itchy and irritated arm.I through my food in trash since they still did charge me for it!!!NEVER AGAIN.IF YOU DO DINE HERE ,PLEASE CHECK UNDER YOUR TABLE BEFORE YOU SIT!!!DISGUSTED!!!!

Great service here. The fast is always served at the right temperature. I never had to wait a long time.

Stopped in this diner to have a quick bite and kill some time. Staff friendly. Place very clean. Portions large but food just okay. Hamburger and chicken dry, covered with melted but dried cheese. Fries were good. People behind us seemed to enjoy their meal.

Vegen food is amazing. And so many options vegen wine .Are server Virginia was great

I started coming here this summer and never left. Great food aid very friendly atmosphere. Waitresses and service very professional and the food is great. I love the fact that you can earn points that is real money and can turn it in for a deduction on your bill. Love the place please come check it out.

Food was great! Server was attentive and nice. Mellow environment that's great for hanging out with friends.

Used to be good, price of a pork roll, egg and cheese went up. And they charge you an extra 1.25 if you get a bagel, which was stale and undertoasted. Used to be my favorite, but will be going elsewhere from now on.

I had one of the weirdest experiences today because of my server, believe her name was erin. it started out with her asking me if I had a pet cow in my backyard that I was saving after asking to see the vegan menu. not only is that extremely weird to say, it s so rude to assume why i m eating vegan. I could have a medical problem that forces me to eat a plant based diet. throughout the entire service she was just not attentive, forgetful, and even popped up behind us and scared us. like who does that? worst experience ever.

The Food here is Sooo good and FRESH!!!
FISH ALWAYS BROILED OR FRIED to "PERFECTION"" Cant get anything like this at shore, especially for the price...Their Baked Apples are the Best around!!! Soups delicious... ALL THE STAFF ARE GREAT from seating , waiters/waitresses to cashiers..

Breakfast consistently good for the last 24 yrs. Best pancakes around.

Diners should have a full menu around the clock. That's what they are for!

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Menu was clearly marked with lots of vegeterian, vegan and gluten free options. Love that colonial is trying to cater to other dietary options. Food was delucious.

One of the best diners in South Jersey. Food is always excellent, and there are LOTS of vegan options, including breakfast foods, soups, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Awesome place!

We always order bee sting wings and again...they didn't disappoint! However, they skimped on the blue cheese which we paid extra for (they almost never come close to filling the little container but charge an extra .75 for each). Also, the celery looked old, brown and gross. Then the salad with chicken fingers was covered in shredded cheese which caused mounds of melted cheese to fuse together with the hot chicken over top of what should have been crisp lettuce. Finally, the cucumbers had brown spots. Quite unappetizing. I know they can do better

Service was great but owner was very rude n as he walked away saying how he lost money on a side of pasta really not our fault it was not cooked right n still hard n very little garlic n oil on it.. Ever since they remodel the place it went down hill n prices went up!!!!

My wife and I are vegan and we the food on the vegitarian menu! Food and service are top notch!

Went here with a big group of people and they handled it nicely. Food was good. And waiter was nice. Fast service as well.
