I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday. We had reservations for 7 but ended up waiting a half hour before we sat - they comped our appetizer & the manager apologized (as well as the hostess, another host and our waitress). The service was super and the food - the best steak I've ever had! (& I'm very picky) They even came out with a champagne toast for us & a birthday dessert complete with a candle. Our waitress, Meagan, gave us get business card at the end of our meal so we can request her for next time. Not something you'd expect from a waitress but I was impressed! With complimentary valet too. I was VERY impressed & I highly recommend it!

Excellent place; it's been a staple of mine for years. Great food, wine selection, ambiance, and stellar service. Stephanie waited on our table and certainly did not disappoint as she was polite and very attentive. We will be back!

The wait staff here and the food were both excellent. Looking around, there are locked boxes with name plates above them. Guests that come here regularly are able to secure their own alcoholic beverages.

Awesome menu selection.. Was here for my son's 30th bday and was blown away by portion size, quality of food and incredible service by our waiter, Tom..

Went there for the first time. Service was exceptional & our waiter Jamie was awesome! My filet was cooked to perfection. Great experience. I will be going back :)

Do not accept any recommendation ('a little of each'?) by the wait staff. It will cost you way more than the menu suggests. A good, if forgettable steak house. For expense accounts only. A good (expensive) wine list for the bonus boys.

We drove up from CT. Saturday night for dinner. We were greeted immediately, sat quickly, and the atmosphere was right on. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was cooked to perfection. A, a la carte menu had great choices of food and the Chefs Suggestions all sounded above and beyond, and that is what we ordered. This place was absolutely amazing! We are going to plan another trip there and also tell our friends about this amazing culinary experience!! As a Chef, I know about food, and the flavor and execution of these dishes from the tuna tartar appetizer, to our entrees were flawless! A must for anyone wanting an amazing experience!!!

Waiters Joe and Zo provided outstanding service and the food was wonderful!

Friendly Staff but meal was not as great as it should have been. Appetizers Ok, steak under cooked, sent back for redo came back a bit over done. Underwhelming performance.

Overall this was a nice dining experience. A nice ambiance in the building which they took over after Ruth's Chris closed down.

The service is top notch. The waitress was more than attentive. The place looks nice and is laid out well. The menue was exotic and intriguing. I do recommend the place highly.

4 stars because my steak was overcooked and I didn't expect this since they put Ruth's Chris out of business but Ruth's never overcooked my steak. Still a great place to dine.

Fine dining.. probably one of the best in Providence! Kona crusted anything.. enough said!

Tried out the Wagyu burger and wine pairing promo they had in the lounge. Great burger and the wines were excellent! Really nice atmosphere and super service in the lounge. It's running through mid Nov and I'm already thinking of going back.

Eat at the bar, bartenders are great! Lamb lollipops are my favorite.

Had 4pm reservation sat on time a great waiter matt very thorough very polite excellent food.

Very nice place. Food was excellent. Steaks and main courses came only with one thing and no sides but side were available for purchase. Staff was very polite and helpful with any questions we had about menu items. Food was pricey but that's what you would expect when going out for a nice night. Definitely recommend

Great location, quality everything, including food!

For the cost, I expected the steak to be wonderfully tender and delicious. It was lacking in both of these areas. Green beans were fantastic though.

This is the best place for a good steak! Make sure you make reservations early as they fill up quickly.

Service is impeccable, food is off the charts good. Very expensive but if you are a steak lover,it's worth it. Love this place!!

Service was terrible. 2.5 hours for 2 burgers and 2 salads? Management needs to get it's act together. Bus boy put my bill in a drawer. No one could find my bill so I could pay and leave. The food was good, not great and that's the only reason for 2 stars.

Amazing food. Went with group from work and shared numerous choices of appetizers that were wonderful. Entrees were amazing as were the desserts. Go and enjoy!

The location keeps pace with older & larger outposts without issue. The consistency of the CG is appreciated along with the food, service & atmosphere. Old school strong.

My last business lunch - jumbo shrimp cocktail, (they will split the order to seperate servings): fantastic lobster bisque, (the crock is plenty; the bowl will fill you up, they offer to add a extra pouring of fine sherry: I chose two 3" filet mignon "sliders" accompanied by white truffle fries; on to desert, delicious house made with fresh berries. Aperitif, double espresso.
All in an elegant setting with impeccable service.

Always as awesome as it can get! Great food, great service, great atmosphere!

NEVER come to this location on a weekend night. We had a reservation on Saturday and upon arrival it was very clear they were overwhelmed having taken too many reservations with no space too place people. There was no place to sit( the bar was completely full with no place to stand or sit) and wait ( we arrived 20 minutes prior to our reservation time thinking that they could sit us earlier). We had my parents with us ( both in their mid eighties) and we found a place for them to sit but a Manager came over and very rudely asked my 86 year old mother to vacate her space so that they could place a table there. When they could not seat us at our reserved time and would not commit to when we could sit we left. Having traveled around the country working in Corporate America and eaten in many of the great steak houses around the country I can confidently say this is one of the poorest run outfits I have seen. Don't waste your time and hard earned money here. If in Providence go up to Federal Hill. Great restaurants and terrific service. Your money is better spent there than in dealing with the arrogance at this restaurant.

We just love Capital Grille. Love it even more during Restaurant Week when the prices are set for a fixed menu.

Consiistently best steak chain city after city-superb

Awesome, really enjoyed the steak tip. The atmosphere inside is relaxing. The staff very attentive. Well worth the price can't wait to go again.

Second time at this specific location and I can confirm it is worth every penny. Be sure you get the mashed potatoes and ask for Mark. He was my waiter for both my trips and made sure I was taken care of each time

Came here with my wife for our anniversary. Called ahead to make a reservation as soon as we went in they wished us happy anniversary, left a card saying happy anniversary in our table, and gave complimentary deserts with music. Staff, food, service is phenomenal. Were visiting from NYC. This was the best part of our travels. Highly recommend this place.

Definite 5-star experience. The burger and fries were fantastic.

This restaurant was within walking distance from the downtown hotels. I decided to try it. Upon arrival the hostess was very unwelcoming. I almost left. The New England Clam Chowder and Grilled Veggies were excellent. Nice dining with a scenic view of the park. Joseph, the waiter was very attentive and friendly. His pleasant manner made up for the rude entrance. Please show the hostess how to properly greet all customers or you may lose the next one.

Great food. Geared more towards seafood lovers. But the Filet mignon is excellent.

Food and service was good BUT not exceptional so a bit let down this past time. It was Restaurant week though so much busier than normal.
