What can I say that hasn't been said in 100 other reviews. Just an incredible, artery clogging meal. Get the ribeye. Get the lamb burger. Bring a few bottles of big reds to wash it all down.

Breakfast was delicious and not so expensive for a hotel in Manhattan. Combined with the interesting environment and people I would say it was worth the very slow, though friendly, service. The home fries were definitely worth the $7 as a side because they were so good. The baked eggs were delicious. Oddly my Stumptown French pressed coffee at home is far better than theirs despite there being a Stumptown cafe in the hotel.

Went here for brunch on a sunday morning. The food was great but service very slow. Had to wait 5-10 mins just to get menus. Then waited a further 30 mins for the food, it wasn't even super busy.

This is based off the brunch staff. Sat at the worst possible table in the restaurant. A two top 3 inches away from the waiters and hostess station. I got.to be a part of all their conversations. At least put up a partition or something. Hostess also forgot to check us in since we made a reservation on open table thankfully we noticed the email before we left. No showing for reservations can negatively affect your account. Ordered a lamb burger and asked.for chefs choice on temp which he said would be med rare. Perfect I said. My burger arrived and the inside was cold and so undercooked I probably could of reformed it into another shape if I wanted to. The fries were also from the bottom of the basket or bowl or w/e they use. So salty I drank a whole cravat of water. There was also bits and pieces of burnt fries littered throughout. I had to flag over a waiter who wasn't ours since we weren't checked on promptly after receiving our food. I explained my burger situation and I was informed it would be about 5 minutes to reheat it. I made a point to tell them to ask the kitchen to just reheat this one and not make a new one. I kept my overly salty fries with me while I waited. 20 minutes passed and my burger finally arrived. It was a brand new burger. I appreciate the gesture and it might be protocol but my wife had already finished her meal and her drink. I was stuffed from eating fries and drinking 4 glasses of water in order to force the sodium sticks down. The burger was cooked properly the second time. I asked for it to go. The waiter informed me the burger would be taken off the check which was nice. Brunch staff is usually B team. It probably consists of hungover young adults who don't want to be there. Came here a few years ago and the experience was night and day. You might think I'm being nitpicky here but the fact of the matter is it's expensive. $30 burger expensive. $20 grilled cheese expensive. $5 mini scone expensive. Step your game up or lower the prices to go in line with your fumbling staff.

The lights are dimmed and the mood is perfect for dinner with friends or a date. I had the scotch egg (a bit salty) and the lamb burger, which is about twice the amount you would expect from a burger - amazing! Their special for the night, lamb shank, took the trophy for best dish of the night!

April strikes again with arguably the finest lamb burger on the planet. The thick cut, thrice cooked fries are unlike any others you have had before. And the desserts are a perfect mix of salty and sweet

One of our stops whenever we come to the city. The food is always unique and delicious, the drinks creative, and the staff welcoming. Not an ideal place to take young kids though we have once before. Highly recommend reservations if going during peak times.

Nothing to write home about. Decent friendly service and mediocre food. We got the lamb burger and the rabbit. We were not blown away with either. Most impressive thing was the triple cooked chips.

Stump Town coffee and a chef who performs miracles with pork guarantee you the best coffee and burgers in NYC. The amazingly fun but sophisticated menu makes repeat trips to this intimate pub style restaurant a must.

This place has one of the most unique menus in America, let alone New York. The fare is eclectic (in a great way), so this place isn't exactly for the picky eater. Fantastic lamb burger. The atmosphere is great - off to the side of the Ace Hotel lobby (a very hip hotel with a great, casual nightlife scene). Go for a drink in the hotel lobby or at The John Dory Oyster Bar across the way after dinner.

Breakfast time; Overrated and below average is what this place is all about. In my opinion, it doesn't ft to be part of New York's best and not even worth a trial. I left shocked and disappointed!

was there for NYE and had a great time with friends. This is the second time coming here for NYE, since the ACE hotel is connected and provides free entry for the night. The Breslin is always a wonderful place to come, the service is great, the food is delicious and the drinks are top notch. As I'm sure everyone else has mentioned, the lamb burger is to die for. They are accompanied by their thrice fried fries which go really well with the cumin mayo! Overall it can be a little expensive experience but well worth it in my experience.

This place is the bomb! Our hotel room wasn t ready when we got into town, so we came here to get in from the cold and have a little snack. I saw the sourdough pancake with spiced apples on the menu and couldn t not order it. It was one of the most delectable things I ve ever put in my mouth! BTW, it s massive, so you can share. And the staff was super friendly. Can t wait to go back on our next trip.

The Breslin is a great place for group dinners -- good drinks, lots of meaty dishes (my favorite). The suckling pig dinner is on my life list. The calf's liver was good, but the portion is HUGE -- overwhelming, even for me (and I love the liver). For me, a good place to come for drinks, charcuterie and people-watching.

We went there for a breakfast and we had to wait for almost an hour. We asked the waiter to check on our food once and there were no feed back till we had to ask them again. It was an absolute time wasting on the restaurant.

Good: the food was delicious and well made.

Good: the food was delicious and well made.

Negative: We had made reservations well in advance and received several notifications that reminded us to be on time. We arrived 10 min early and had to wait another 30 from the time to our reservation until we were seated. At dinner, some plates were cleared while other members of our party were still eating. Our second course was already plated and the waiting staff asked whether we wanted to wait. We did! But the second course was still brought to the table 30 seconds later.

We understand that Christmas is busy. However, we did expect to be seated within a reasonable time period. And ultimately, we did not expect to be rushed through our Christmas dinner due to poor scheduling and other guests waiting for our table. Improvements needed.

This place has been on my list for years, and I never made it. I decided to take myself out for lunch while I was in town and had some free time alone. It's in the ACE hotel, which would have made finding it easier. The sign was hard to read. I know they just lost their star for 2019, but I wanted to go anyways... More on that later. I was seated promptly at a small table. The service was very friendly, but also quite slow at times. I am deducting a star for the service. The lunch menu looked awesome, hence I didn't try to go for dinner. The main reason for my visit was to try the infamous Lamburger. It didn't disappoint at all, as someone who loved to make an eat these, this one was the best I've had. The fries were awesome as well. Overall it was a fantastic lunch, and I promptly walked 15,000 extra steps :)

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I visit many restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very warm and the food they cook is so good. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice and intimate place to have dinner. The service was exquisite and the food was delicious. I had the scotch egg to start which was very tasty. It's hard to find this well prepared in NY, this place definitely hit the mark. The lamb dish for dinner was also amazing -- elegantly plated and delicious.

Pricey bar food, but totally worth it. Scotch egg was awesome. So was the burger. Excellent service and beer selection. Full bar here too. Great place for a snack and a drink or a full meal and hangout.

Love the food here been to this place 4 times for lunch and now breakfast. The place has a very new take on classics. Try the English breakfast if your hungry and the scotch egg for lunch.

We actually ate here for thanksgiving dinner. Place was sold out way in advance. Food was really good. Service was pretty slow but not surprising given the date. Definitely need to go back on a non holiday. Interior is really cool and the cocktails and wine selection were great.

Went here over July 4th weekend. Had casual lunch with a business associate. Atmosphere is very nice. Feels very secluded from the hustle and bustle of out side NYC. Also connected to a pretty nice area you can sit down and relax or knock out some work on the lap top. Cool spot over all.

Breakfast was very nice and the location very moody and atmospheric but service a bit weird - all ordered items came and staff were friendly but asked for sugar three times for coffee and ended up going looking for it myself. Also breakfast didn't come with toast which is strange. Quality of food was very high though.
